Presents for all the NPC’s.Cost for Builds and Upgrades& Stuff.Btw please be patient, I am still working on the guide. And I am thankful for every comment that tells me when something is wrong. First things first
Some things I learned while playing SV:
- if you want the Achievments you should ship everything you get once. You need that for the Full Shipping Achievment.
- you need to donate every gem you get once at the museum
- watch tv everyday. If you have some extra luck you should go fishing or mining
- always take enough food when you go mining (energy and hp problems)
- save money for the new season to buy a lot of seeds
- get the bagpacks first
- if you get friends with the NPC’s they send you gifts and recipes (for cooking)
- you can buy or craft more if you click SHIFT and the right mouse
- look out for Quests – you get money, friendship (and 2 Achievments later)
- get a Silo before you buy animals (you need that for the hay)
- pet your animals every day so you get better products from them
- if you get into the Skull Cavern take some bombs with you to kill the mummies
- prepare for the Stardew Valley Fair in the Fall. You need some crops (high quality), fish, gems & artisan goods.
- you can make oil out of sunflower seeds
Skills
How I skilled and why.
Farming
at level 5 I took the Tiller – Crops are woth 10% more.
I do a hella lot more of crops than animals.
at level 10 I took the Artisan – Artisan Goods worth 40% more.
Well Artisan Goods are pretty good to make a lot of money.
Mining
at level 5 I took the Geologist – 50% chance for Gems to appear in pairs.
In my opinion you can find enough ore and you can use the Gems for gifting or selling.
at level 10 I took the Gemologist – Gems worth 30% more.
Like I said – I sell them.
Foraging
at level 5 I took the Gatherer – 20% chance for double harvest of foraged items.
I do not sell wood but the foraging things.
at level 10 I took the Tracker – Locations of foragable items are revealed.
Now I can find all the things.
Fishing
at level 5 I took the Fischer – Fish worth 25% more.
I do more fishing than Crab Potting.
at level 10 I took the Pirate – Chance to find treasure doubled.
Now I can find all the things while I’m fishing.
Combat
at level 5 I took the Fighter– All attacks deal 10% more damage. +15 HP.
I think its better to deal more dmg than doing more crit.
at level 10 I took the Brute – Damage is increased by 15%.

A & Q
Q: Presenting NPC’s – whats the best?
A: Since the Update it is important which Quality your present have.
If you give them a Crop or Goody Art make sure it is gold and you can get up until 4 Hearts.
Q: Community Center or Jojo-Mart?
A: Here it is really important what you choose. With the Community Center you need to forage things, make good crops, get animal things and so on,
while at the Jojo-Mart you just buy every upgrade. (If you want Achievments you need to success both.)
Q: Which crops to do profit?
A: This is pretty difficult. At the start the only seeds you can do on your own are the Wild Seeds. You can make some money out of them.
Also profitable are the crops that continue growing (some of them even grow the season after).
Secret here: They are 3 crops that can get Giant Crops. Works for Cauliflower, Melon and Pumpkin.
You need to place them in a 3×3 without something between them. You can also do a 3×4 area to have a 2 chances of growing.
You need to water them on your own, but if you get a Giant Crop you can harvest double amount.
You can leave mature crops planted and they may fuse to become a Giant Crop in the following days.
Q: Should I fertilize my crops?
A: Well if you want to make some more money or need them (bundles, presents) in higher quality it is worth the shot.
(You wont need it later when your skill is pretty high you get a lot of good quality without fertilizing)
Q: What to do with Swords, Shoes, etc I dont need?
A: You can sell them at the Adventurer’s Guild.

Jelly
Actually you can turn everything to Jelly. I always do Salmonberry & Blackberry Jelly because you get a hella lot of them.
Cask
Like seriously age the Wine. It’s hella lot of money.
Do Cheese and Mayonnaise, I’ve 2 cheese and 2 mayonnaise maker and do around 30-50K Gold in a month with that.

Tools
It takes two days for the blacksmith to upgrade your tools.
Copper:
You need 5 Bar and 2.000 Gold for each tool.
Iron:
You need 5 Bar and 5.000 Gold for each tool.
Gold:
You need 5 Bar and 10.000 Gold for each tool.
Iridium:
You need 5 Bar and 25.000 Gold for each tool.
Honey
Flowers affect Honey.
(just plant a flower and put the Bee Houses around it)
