Easy Speed Run Method (High DPS) for Dead Cells

Easy Speed Run Method (High DPS)

Overview

OverviewThis guide is to something I found to be pretty viable in terms of high dps and an easy way to speed run through Prisoner’s Cell and Promenade of The Condemned and Toxic Sewers if you know what you’re doing.Note that I have only tested this with mouse + keyb and can only ensure that those controls will workStepsOnce you have died and fought off your depression of a lost run, collect your gold and fall downwards into the water undeath you (S or down arrow key + spacebar)There should be a glowing rune to the farthest wall to the right. Break it and it shall give you another Rusty Sword. There are many other secrets in the spawn room. For example, travel to the left once youre in the water and there will be another rune there which will give you the starter shield and if you jump up from the water and double jump, you will reach a rune in the wall higher up which gives you the starter bow. You can also see a secret blueprint for a bow in the top left corner as well.Have both Rusty Swords equipped and have at it.High DPS MethodNote that this does not become highly viable in the later stages of the run especially once you enter the Ramparts (or possibly the Old Sewers, but I have not tested it there yet) unless you have a high level of STRWhen you spam click LMB, your character will do the normal combo hits at normal speed, but with both rusty swords in hand, quickly spam aternate LMB and RMB (Or whatever keys you have binded for weapon attacks) and your character will quickly spam the first quick hits of each combo in quick succession. That means that you will easily be able to slice up anything in your way in a matter of a few clicks. Another quick note to keep in mind is that once you have gone through about half of the combo your character makes the slow heavy swings which is something not preferred. Kill your enemy before that happens to ensure that you wont be taken down. The method also is not suited for large hordes or groups of enemies unless theyre grouped together to where you can hit all of them in one strike.Afterwordto be fairly honest, this could be a little bug that might be fixed and I have only recently discovered it. I am still testing it out and seeing how well it works through my gameplay. I can safely say this is a great speed run method right now unless you want to use the upgraded random weapon spawns at the beginning. I have used this method and flew past Prisoner’s Cell and Promenade of The Condemned while fully discovering all parts of each level in ~5 minutes (Still seeing if this works with other types of weapons in late run that have high DPS; i.e. whips and the Balanced Blade, but obviously I have to find two of them :/ ) This is my first guide tbh and I don’t expect it to be viewed a ton or even look close to professional like what those 5 star ones do. Jesus those people really put time into those, but hey if you actually found my guide useful or whatever maybe give it a decent rating? It’d be pretty nice and appreciated 😉
