PORTAL 2: Crash after a few minutes FIX!

Overview

Have you enjoyed this game forever but then, all of a sudden it has been crashing after about 20-10 minutes? Well; I found a FIX. And I will (hopefully) help you fix your game too!

Step 1:

Navigate to your library and locate Portal 2:

Step 2:

In the sidebar right click on Portal 2, the left click on Properties.

Step 3:

Navigate to Betas in the window that popped up:

Step 4:

Click on the arrow beside NONE – Opt out of all beta branches, and change it to previous_release – one branch behind default branch, then click close.

Step 5:

Portal 2 will update and in the sidebar will change to:
Now you should be able to play Portal 2!

I would recommend verifying the cache of Portal 2 to make sure everything downloaded correctly!
