How to completely fix stuttering and lag on Oculus Headsets

Overview

This guide will tell you how to completely fix lag on Beat Saber when using any Oculus headset.For me doing these steps increases the performance from 30-50 fps with extreme stuttering to stable 90fps.

Step 1

Right click on Beat Saber on your steam library, go to properties and add “-vrmode oculus” to the launch parameters without quotations.

Step 2

Download OpenComposite 64bit per-game dll from here: [link] and place it into C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonBeat SaberBeat Saber_DataPlugins (replacing the one that is already there)

Step 3

Download and install Prio: [link]
After you have installed, restart your computer

Step 4

Launch Oculus and Beat saber. Go into task manager, select the details tab from the top bar, set the priority for OVRServer_x64.exe and Beat Saber.exe to “high”, make sure “save priority” is ticked.

Done

Make sure SteamVR is not running while you play Beat Saber, now you should have up to two times the fps.
