Overview
This guide will explain how you can equip any items you want into any inventory slot. Want an inventory filled with air horns? Want to wreak havoc with a arsonal of rocket launchers? Want to be a maniac by using nothing but a bunch of wrenches? This guide is for you!
WARNING
Please follow my instructions very carefully! The method used to change inventory items uses Regedit, which can potentially damage your system if your not careful, so do exactly what I say!
Do everything I say, and do not edit any values you’re unsure of.
Updates
Update 1: 19/05: Added a warning before the guide.
Update 2: 21/05: Added Inventory Editor tool for download.
Update 3: 22/05: Removed Inventory Editor as its broken.
Intro
Today I’m going to teach you how to equip any weapon/item into any inventory slot, allowing for stupid loadouts like this
We will be using Regedit for this, an advanced Windows tool that lets you edit program data directly.
Step 1: Loading Regedit
First of all, make sure either the game is closed or your in the main menu. Next, you need to open Regedit, which is a back end program used for editing data used by programs (hence why I said be careful ). You can do this by pressing the Windows Key + R and then typing Regedit in the run box, or searching Regedit in your start menu. You may be asked for admin privileges, so just click yes. you should see something like this
Step 2: Finding Ravenfield
Next, double click the folder called ‘HKEY_CURRENT_USER’ then ‘Software’ then scroll down until you find ‘SteelRaven7’ Once you open that, open ‘RavenfieldSteam’ and it should look something like this (left side might look different, but right side should be near enough the same)
Step 3: Setting the Items
Now comes the fun part. Inside the right side of the screen you see a bunch of names and numbers. Most of these represent in game settings, but there are four you want to look for. Look for the fields with names beginning with ‘gear1’ ‘gear2’ ‘gear3’ ‘primary’ and ‘secondary’ as seen below. The numbers at the end of the names might be different, but that doesn’t matter. Note secondary is on its own for some reason
Basically, these fields are used to store your in game loadout. gear 1, 2, and 3 represent side items like deployables, grenades, and rocket launchers, and primary/secondary are self explanatory. Double click on the field you want to edit (for example, primary,) and this should pop up
The number in the value box determines the item you want in the slot. This is a list of each number/letters you can use, and the item it corresponds with.
- 0 = RK
- 1 = Pistol
- 2 = Silenced Pistol
- 3 = Signal (scoped assault rifle)
- 4 = Sniper Rifle
- 5 = Eagle (shotgun)
- 6 = Dagger (rocket launcher)
- 7 = Frag
- 8 = Quicksilver (smg)
- 9 = Night Vision Goggles
- 10 = Ammo
- 11 = Medic
- 12 = SLAM (other rocket launcher)
- 13 = MLG Horn
- 14 = Patriot (assault rifle)
- 15 = HMG (machine gun)
- a = Recon (scoped rifle)
- b = Spearhead (stun grenade)
- c = Hydra (missile launcher with 6 rockets)
- d = SCALPEL (missile launcher with 1 rocket)
- e = Wrench (sadly not golden)
- f = Conder (revolver)
Type in the number for the item you want (for example, 13 would set it to the horn, c would set it to be the Hydra) and press enter, only use the numbers/letters I described, as using any others will just cause the inventory slot to become empty. Your also not limited by inventory slots, so you can place Hydras into all of the slots if you want.
Once you’ve finished setting your item, repeat for the remaining slots and when you’re finished choosing your items, close Regedit (it saves automatically,) launch the game, and open a new match. You should now see your inventory filled with the items you chose. Be warned that most items in gear 2 will appear to take up gear 3’s slot as well, but you will still have the third item as long as you have it equipped. You will also need to redo the setup if you change an item.
End
As more items get added, the item codes may change, so i’ll try to keep this guide updated when new weapons come out.
Thanks for reading, have fun tooting your air horns and filling the air with hydra rockets 🙂
Alternative Method: Inventory Editor (BROKEN)
Currently, the Inventory Editor is broken. You can try it, but I can guarantee it won’t work.
The first method of editing your inventory is through the use of the Ravenfield Inventory Editor which I created.
Its a much easier method than using Regedit, as you can see which weapons your equiping. Only downside to this method is that as updates come out, I will need to update the program, so you’ll need to redownload it. Also it could have bugs (which you should let me know about in the comments of this guide.)

I’ve created an Inventory Editor to make creating custom loadouts easier! from Ravenfield

How to use Ravenfield Inventory Editor.
The editor is really simple to use. Once you’ve opened it, the program will load your current loadout.
First, select one of the inventory slots highlighted below.
Next, select one of the weapons on to the top of the window as highlighted below.
Repeat this process for all the weapon slots, and when your done, click SUBMIT.
Now, launch a match, and your new inventory should have loaded.
You can either close the editor, or leave it open to edit inventory between matches.
