The Unofficial Half-Life Add-On CD-ROMs Guide.

Overview

This here is my comprehensive list of add-on CD-ROMs for Half-Life 1 released between early-1999 to the mid-2000s, excluding Valve’s official mods, as well as Opposing Force & Blue Shift.Notice, I can’t provide download links to these add-on CD-ROMs for obvious copyright reasons, because I don’t want to violate the Steam Community guidelines on download links to other sites.Official Add-On CD-ROMs – Official content releases by either Valve or Sierra from 1999 to 2002 before Steam existed.Half-Life: Further Data – A series of companion CDs released by Sierra in 1999, containing a collection of additional multiplayer models, maps and logos/sprays for Half-Life. They were released in 1999 for free through retail outlets, and were never officially released by Valve online. The two known CDs are currently Half-Life: Further Data V.1 and Half-Life: Further Data V.2. Version one contained two audio tracks from the game, while version two omitted them. Version two also advertised Team Fortress Classic despite the game itself not being included on the disc.Unofficially released Add-On CD-ROMs – Discs that were released by third-party software companies.Extreme-Life – An unofficial add-on CD-ROM released around the Early 2000s, containing new player models, weapons, tools & textures and maybe even some maps (single-player & multi-player).Half-Life Add-ons CD-ROM – An unofficial add-on CD-ROM released on March 3rd 2000, containing extra Modifications, Maps, Tools & Skins for Half-Life.Half-Life World – An unofficial and possibly bootleg CD-ROM from Russia released around 2000, containing Counter-Strike beta 6.5 & Team Fortress Classic, as well as extra single-player & multi-player maps for Half-Life.Half-Time – An unofficial add-on CD-ROM from Germany released around the Early 2000s, containing 150 maps, 29 player models, 46 new items, and new tools & editors for Half-LifeLife/2 – An unofficial add-on CD-ROM from Germany released around 2000, containing extra skins & tools, as well as extra single-player & multiplayer levels for Half-Life.Mods and Maps: More than 1000 maps for Counter-Strike – Not an unofficial add-on CD-ROM for Half-Life but rather for Counter-Strike released by X Media Publishing (XMP) in 2001 containing more that 1,000 maps and modifications gathered from internet resources.Digerati Mod-X Volume 4 CD-ROM – A CD-ROM from Brazil (presumably?) that was released in 2004, containing the BattleGrounds, Battle of the Millennium, BumperCars, Goldeneye & Gladiator mods for Half-Life.These are some of the add-on CD-ROMs released during 1999 up until the mid-2000s released for Half-Life 1.
