Play any mod in Multiplayer

Overview

This is a little complicated, but I’m sure everyone can follow instructions. It’s an old-ass game so this isn’t exactly user friendly.Type “deathmatch 1”, “mp_allowmonsters 1”, “sv_lan 0” in the console and load a map with the map command. Find map list with the “maps *” command.Your buddies can use the “connect” command to connect to your sever. You can find your IP by googling “my ip”. You’ll have to port forward for playing online. If you don’t know how, google it. The port you’ll need to open is 27015.And bam, you’ll have a server up and running and be able to play any mod.P.S.Level transitions don’t work in multiplayer, I think.

This is a little complicated, but I’m sure everyone can follow instructions. This is an old-ass game so this isn’t exactly user friendly.

Type “deathmatch 1”, “mp_allowmonsters 1”, “sv_lan 0” in the console and load a map with the map command. Find map list with the “maps *” command.

Your buddies can use the “connect” command to connect to your sever. You can find your IP by googling “my ip”. You’ll have to port forward for playing online. If you don’t know how, google it. The port you’ll need to open is 27015.

And bam, you’ll have a server up and running and be able to play a lot of custom HL1 co-op or deathmatch maps.

P.S.
There’s actually 2 unused deathmatch maps named bootcamp and testpark. Check those out.
