Opening
When I enter Novac, the second thing I always do is waste that ♥♥♥♥♥ Old Lady Gibson. There are many reasons to kill her and her dogs, both economic and ethical. This guide will give you everything you need to know about killing Old Lady Gibson.
Economic Reasons
The economic reasons for killing Old Lady Gibson are numerous. First of all she wields the unique sawn-off shotgun, Big Boomer.
I’m not going to talk about that in this in this guide, but hey, a unique weapon is a unique weapon.
Second, in the Gibson scrap yard, you can get two quest items. The first, which you probably know about, are the thrust control modules. These are required in the quest, “Come Fly With Me”. Second, which you may have not seen, is hidden inside a dog. You can get Rey’s brain from the dog Basura.
You can get both these quest items from Old Lady Gibson, but they cost 500 and 700 caps respectively. I think murdering an npc is worth more than 1200 caps.
