Overview
This guide is gonna learn you how to get alot of fish morsel early on! It even works for Wigfrid! (Shipwrecked only)
Requirements
For this trick to work, all you need is a trap. These are crafted in the Survival tab, with only six cut grass and two twigs.
The Actual Trick
Okay. I assume you’ve made a trap. Now comes the actual method. It involves the little blue crabbits.
Basically, if you chase these guys for a few seconds, they’ll bury themselves in the sand. You would assume they’ve made a clean get away, as you can’t even dig the buried crabbits up.
I’m not too sure if this is intended, but you can place a trap right above the buried cabbit and it will be caught! Once the animation where he wiggles around upside down finishes, just pick up the trap and you’ll get yourself one crabbit and your trap back with some durability used up.
Now you can either right click the crabbit in your inventory to murder it to get raw fish morsel, but be warned: Murdering too many crabbits can spawn Krampus. It doesn’t really change much, but you can also cook the crabbit while it’s alive to save time. (Barbaric, I know.)
In Conclusion
So this is a really easy trick that i use all the time, especially when playing Wigfrid, because of her meat only diet. But like i said earlier, murdering crabbits in your inventory increases naughtiness (one point per crabbit), so to be careful not to spawn Krampus.
