A darkstone location guide for what I have found while playing the gaia / Shard of Fate map.

Welcome to my first guide. Please forgive any errors. This guide is a work in progress. If you know any other locations message me or comment them on the guide. Once I locate it I will add it to the guide and credit you next to the location.
Important info
For this I personally use a Banshee with a carry weight of 1908.1 I am gathering on an official pve server. so 1x gather rate.
Mounts you will need.
Recommended: Banshee, Windrider, or Dharku.
Other mounts: Fliers with more than 1k carry weight. and ground mounts with decent carry weight and Survivability.
Tool I used was a rare Suarian pickaxe.
To bring up your cords press the delete/ del key to hide UI.
Mountains
Path through mountains from Eastern Outpost side. Might need a larger tame or a flier to easily get the higher up Darkstone. 4 nodes. Gathering yielded – 290 Darkstone
Other side of mountains. Following same path as above. Near castle. Accessible on foot. 3 nodes. Gathering yielded – 116 Darkstone
On the other side of the white in picture above. Just down a little the path a little on the right. Accessible on foot. 2 nodes. gathering yielded – 80 Darkstone
Top of mountain behind Hydra Temple a little ways. Will need a Flier or Dharku. 14 nodes. Gathering yielded – 605 Darkstone
Landmark image. Find water lake nearby on top of mountain. When you see this lake turn around and head towards the peak.
Between two mountain ridges nearer mountain next to Desert and any Depths. Flier or Dharku needed. 6 nodes. Gathering yielded – 246 Darkstone
Eastern Outpost and surrounding areas
Behind Eastern Outpost. On the path towards the mountains. Accessible on foot. 2 nodes. Gathering yielded – 83 Darkstone
Western Outpost / Northern Outpost and surrounding areas
Near Skull Mountain. The ledge above Elite Overseer Alter. Will need a flier, Dharku or construction to access. 7 nodes. Gathering yielded – 470 Darkstone
Other side of Skull Mountain. Flier, Dharku, or construction to access. 3 nodes. Gathering Yielded – 118 Darkstone
Behind Skull Mountain. Floating island. 2 nodes. flier required.
Valley near Celestial Dragon alter that leads to desert. don’t take the turn to go to desert. further down the path. Heading downhill. Two separate locations, one just down the road from the other. Both groupings are next to a hot spring energy tree. accessible by foot. 4 nodes. Gathering yielded – 301 Darkstone.
Anyltheas Depths aka Plateau zone
Desert side of zone, near path leading out of current zone. Accessible by foot. 6 nodes. Gathering yielded – 231 Darkstone
Further up hill from above image. Accessible by foot. 4 nodes. Gathering yielded – 173 Darkstone
Following outside edge of map. Flier or Dharku needed. 10 nodes. Gathering yielded – 402 Darkstone
Landmark for above.
Following outside edge. Plateaus near mining leyline. Flier or Dharku needed. 8 nodes. Gathering yielded – 338 Darkstone
Keep following outside edge. Another plateau. Flier or Dharku needed. 5 nodes. Gathering yielded – 199 Darkstone
First canyon coming from southern outpost side. Flier, Dharku or jump down from higher ridge to access. 4 nodes. Gathering yielded – 159 Darkstone
Second canyon coming from southern outpost side. Flier or Dharku needed. 4 nodes. Similar gather as above will add yield next run.
Howling Sands
mountains and desert boundry. desert side. long cliff line down the desert side. roughly 20 nodes spread along its path. some directly on the path others up and down. will update when i have more time and double gather isnt on.
elite sandworm alter. top of the taller of the two stone pillars. 8 nodes
Swamp and tunnels.
None currently located. Message in guide or pm me if you have located any here or elsewhere.
