Information to know while going through the combat portion of the beginning. As well as countering and taking advantage of the milf cats rest move.There will be a lot of reading, sorry. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
A Few Words To Start Off With
I just want to say that I don’t understand every little aspect of the game, I’m still kind of learning the game myself. This guide is mostly for those who are having a difficult time with the beginning and need a decent team comp, as well as information for the combat aspect of the game.
This guide is still a work in progress.

Starting off; Crops, HP Items, Traders
Upon exiting the whale blimp, you’ll be introduced to Jubelle. You will talk with her a little bit and be given the choice to Introduce yourself or to skip introduction and head straight to the farm. Opt-in to introducing yourself, otherwise you will miss out on some useful items and an easy first level up. You can also use this time to deal with the monsters you have at the barn before it becomes unavailable. Milk monsters, sell stuff from them, buy more HP items.
On Day 3 a random shop owner will spawn in the area next to the farm. I HIGHLY recommend ignoring any clothing items like the Spiked Coat as some items are bugged and will bug out enemies in combat, softlocking progress. For the time being, ignore equippable items until the Devs fix them. You’re looking for a shop owner that will sell you crops.
Speedwheel increases XP gain by 10%. Can be purchased from Greenthumb on Day 3 or 7. Two can be found before the first fight in the Savannah area. Spring crop.
Flim Flan increases XP gain by 15%. Can be purchased from Greenthumb on Day 3 or 7. Winter crop.
Eggtrap increases XP gain by 10%. Can be purchased from Greenthumb on Day 3 or 7. Autumn crop.
Talking to Beck at the start gives you x1 Shrubstick Coldcut, x1 Yoghurt, and x1 Rockchewers
Talking to Minerva and Tab a second time will give you x8 Shrubstick Coldcuts (This will be after you deal with the cats on the farm)
Talking to Clodagh wil give you x1 Shrubstick Coldcut
Birma sells 5 different breads providing 30% HP for each use. I recommend buying x8 of whichever bread to start for 200 Korona.
Greenthumb sells crops and other equippables. He’s mostly helpful for the XP crops he potentially has for sale which are dirt cheap. Unfortunate victim of the RNG and might not spawn on Day 3 but does on Day 7.
Stats and Status Effects
Your party icon will light up like this when you have gained a level. Click on it to distribute 15 points to the four major stats. As well as increase the effectiveness of a skill by 1 point.
Physique determines a characters damage output. Better with certain characters like Kreyton.
Stamina determines how much HP a character has. Obviously very important.
Intuition determines a characters defense rating. Helpful for characters that might not be able to tank very many hits.
Swiftness determines how fast the action bar fills up and when a character gets their turn. The higher the Swiftness level, the earlier they get a turn.
(I’M GOING TO ADD THE DEBUFFS HERE ONCE I LEARN MORE ABOUT THEM AND WHEN I’M NOT SO LAZY)
The Team, Recommended Stats, Skills
These are purely recommendations and not me telling you to specifically play with this party. I just like this party comp.
The Character you play as. Interacting with the wardrobe will bring up the Players skills. 3 of the skills are used during combat. You have the option to choose from 9 skills and later on 12(I would assume). I recommend using these three skills:
Rock Dig is a damaging move that lowers a single targets defense by 10% for 1 turn.
Puffer Bomb is a damaging move that applies a 15% bleed effect to two targets for 3 turns.
Misty Hots is a status move that increases the parties defense by 15% for 1 turn.
Be careful when using Misty Hots as it will only stay for a single party members turn. It will really only be helpful for when the enemy team attacks right after the PC.
Play around with all the skills and see which ones fit best for you. These are just the ones I feel are best for the PC at the start.
The PC is a more ability based character so I recommend increasing Swiftness first and the other three stats equally.
Clearing Ground is her lowest damaging move but is always usable. It’s an AOE move hitting up to 3 targets.
Milling Smash is her highest damaging move. It’s an AOE move hitting up to 3 targets.
Grand Plow is Kreyton’s best and second most damaging move. It’s an AOE attack that damages all enemies.
Lunch Time reduces the Hangry passive by around 40%. It also heals Kreyton and adds the Regeneration Status Effect.
Kreyton is pretty useful for her high damage output and AOE attacks. It’s as simple as that. If Kreyton isn’t your cup of tea, however, I recommend going to the Barracks and testing out some substitutes. Just be sure to save before starting training. The starting Wolf or Brontide are fairly decent substitutes.
Her Hangry passive increases her defense when below 50%. Above 50% she loses defense in favor of increased damage. when at 100% Hangry, she starts taking damage each of her turns.
Kreyton is super slow so her Swiftness is the lowest of the four. I recommend increasing Physique first and Swiftness/Stamina second
Interception is her lowest damage move that can always be used. It’s an AOE attack that can hit up to 3 targets. It also has a 25% chance to remove a status buff on an enemy.
Saboteur is a three hit attack on a single target. It also slightly reduces a targets turn speed.
Scout increases crit chance and crit damage on a single target by 10%.
Regrouping heals a single ally and also increases their turn progress by a percentage of Goldra’s.
Goldra is by far one of the most useful party members for both her attacks and passive abilities. When attacking an enemy, a bar will appear. Landing in the middle will increase her passive abilities. Maxing out at 3 will allow her to double her attacks further increasing damage output. So long as you don’t miss the middle of the action bar. You can tell if you landed in the middle by the “HIT” that comes up.
Goldra is a mixed bag and can be difficult at first to handle. She might end up getting targeted and taken out first since she has the lowest Stamina. Stamina and Intuition are super important for her survivability so I recommend increasing those first.
Heart Throb is a low damage, always usable move that slightly increases Camellia’s heat level.
Fantasize is an AOE damaging move that slightly increases Camellia’s heat level. It also applies the Sunder debuff.
Absorb I’m gonna be honest, I have no idea what this skill does. It does 1 damage and applies a debuff but I have no idea what the debuff does right now. Will get back to this later.
Ultimate Fantasy is Camellia’s best move and dependent on her heat level. At level 1, she can put the entire enemy team to sleep. At level 4, she can put three status effects on the entire enemy team.
Camellia isn’t the best in terms of damage output, but her abilities are the most useful for dealing with high HP enemies or enemies with healing moves. At level 3 heat, Camellia causes a 4 turn bleed that is helpful for minimizing HP recovering enemies. Coupling Camellia and Goldra together is very helpful for healing the team. Camellia can cause the entire enemy party to sleep at her lowest heat level.
Camellia also tends to go first with her Swiftness level so I recommend increasing her Intuition and Stamina as equally as possible.
Specifically Dealing With The Den Mother
Fighting them is a bit of a 50/50. They will either attack a party member or rest when injured. It’s RNG but they’re more likely to rest when they have taken damage. I’m going to use “DM” for a short form name.
It’s recommended to abuse the PC’s skills and Camellia’s level 1 heat sleep attack. If your PC’s Swiftness is high enough, they will end up going right after Camellia or before depending.
Use Fantasize for Camellia’s first turn, and on her second use Ultimate Fantasy to put the entire enemy team to sleep. Pick on the other enemies and try to defeat them as quickly as possible, taking advantage of the lost enemy turns. This will reduce damage taken and make it easier to focus on the DM later in the fight.
Actually fighting the DM in a 1v1 is a lot easier than you think. It’s all about skill abusing. What you’re aiming for is straight up damage output and causing the enemy to miss turns/fail turns. Try to apply a bleed debuff to the DM once all the other enemies are defeated. Once the DM has a bleed debuff, it boils down to whittling down their HP, that’s where Kreyton and Goldra come in. Just focus on dealing damage and continue applying status debuffs, specifically bleed, until it’s defeated. The DM will more likely than not go for the rest move while it’s injured and bleeding. This doesn’t mean, however, that it won’t instead go for an attack. Just make sure to use Goldra’s Regrouping skill if needed.
Also, you can acquire a Cat Bell from the Munchkin cats(the small cats that don’t attack you) if they are still alive at the end of the battle. Cat Bells simply end a battle with any cat enemy, so long as there are only cat enemies in the fight. DOING THIS WILL FORFEIT XP SO USE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION!
Pick your team and go practice fighting them in a 1v1 in the Barracks. Just be sure to save before you start training.
