Everything you need to know about the game. All the information compiled in one big guide.Made by the original players of SoulWorker JP and adapted to the West.

Intro

SoulWorker it’s an Anime Dungeon Story Driven MMO developed by Lion Games beetween 2011 and 2015. OBT was released in August 2015 in Japan and some Western players tested the game.
I was one of them.
This guide is a compilation of content from JP adapted to the actual client.
Keep in mind that SoulWorker is considered by many the best MMO Dungeon out there.
This game is simple, you love it or you hate it, there is nothing in beetween.
Released in NA/EU by GameForge on February 26, 2018.

FP System (or Energy) – I see a lot of players complaining about this. Even if the West don’t like it… There is a reason!
On the JP the original concept was to stable the lvl and economy of the game by inputting a limit for Exp, Money and Loot farm on Dungeons/Raids. This worked well in Japan and I really like the system.
The problem is… If GameForge don’t remove it you guys already know the Cash Shop will be full of Energy Recovery items for you to buy with your real money and P2W everybody! /

Server Select

When you start the game choose a server.
List of Servers:

[EN] Candus
[NA] Tenebris
[DE] Lakashin
[FR] Rucco
[PL] Grace
[ES] Amaryllis
[IT] Uriel

Keep in mind, each server is independent, your characters will not merge.
The language change inside the client too.

Character Creation

You have 4 available characters right now. The other 2 will be added in the future I guess.

Haru Estia

It’s a Melee One-Handed Sword class very easy to play.
Balanced Attack and Defence.

Erwin Arclight

THIS IS NOT A RANGE CLASS!
It uses his Body, Dual Pistols and a Huge Rifle to fight.
Fast kills. Defence it’s not the worst.

Lily Bloommerchen

Deadly as f***. It have the most AOE.
Lacks defence. You’ll need to evade a lot.
Not recommended for new players.

Stella Unibell

It’s a support class able to regenerate HP/SF.
Huge AOE but less damage. Lacks Critical. Defence is balanced.

Iris Yuma

POOOWWWWEEEEEEEEER!
Tank class. Perfect for solo players.

Jin Seipatsu

Kung Fu POOOWWWWEEEEEEEER!

Now that you’ve created you character let’s play!

Login Check & HEMS

You’ll receive gifts everyday you login and for your playtime.

This system is fully automatic, you don’t need to do anything!
Login Bonus – Receive gifts for each day you login to a maximum of 28 days. Then it resets with a new calendar of gifts.
Play Time Bonus – Receive up to 3 gifts for being logged during 30, 60 and 90 minutes.

You’ll receive the bonus in your Mail Box (HEMS).

This is where you’ll send and receive PM’s. Everything you receive or buy from the system like Fashion, Cash Shop Items, Daily Bonus, etc… are in there.
Keep in mind that all messages expire in 30 days, so don’t forget to collect your items!

Energy System

You have a limited amount of Energy Points that you use to make Dungeons.

You’ll receive 200 points each 24 hours and 50% of your points will merge to the next day.
Example: You got 100 points on day 1 and you stop playing. Day 2 you will have 250 points (200 from 24h reset and +50 from the 50% of the day before).
The Maximum Energy Points you can accumulate is 600.
You can see the Points you’re going to spend on each Episode of the Dungeon.

You can use Recovery items to get more Energy Points.
There are 4 items at the moment:

Dynamite Power Vitamin Z (Premium)
Mat (Premium)
Power Vitamin S
Power Vitamin

Dynamite Power Vitamin Z can be bought in the Premium Shop and will regenerate 100 EP.
You can use a maximum of 3 daily! (300 EP total)

When you activate Mat, 4 other players can sit together with you and also regenerate the Energy.
This can be bought in Premium Shop.

The Power Vitamin S is available in Grutin NPC.

The Power Vitamin is available in Grutin NPC.

Grutin

Grutin it’s a Market where you can buy a lot of valuable items. You will find the NPC on every city.

It uses Grutin Gold Tokens that you receive from completing quests and daily quests.

He also sells an Akasha called Glowing Grutin:

This is only to give EXP to other Akasha.
Keep in mind, you can’t use it if you equip it.
There is a Fee to un-equip it so don’t be dumb XD

Crafting and Soulstones

For this you go to Jenna in every city.

Crafting

You can craft Weapons, Equipment, Fashion, Crafting Material and Soulstones.
The idea is the same for everything.

You select what you want to craft and then you will see the materials you need.

Keep in mind that crafting weapons and equipment is a waste of time! You will drop better loot doing dungeons on Maniac. Unless you’re crafting Unique items to sell on the market!

Even so, if you really want to craft you can obtain Soul’s (Hon’s) by doing Quests, killing Grutin’s son or find memorials.

Soulstones

Soulstones give bonus to your gear. You can equip 3 soulstones for each gear. (When you fill up 3 sockets you get an extra bonus).

You can add sockets with this item you buy on Grutin NPC.

By removing equiped soulstones you have a small chance of keeping the soulstone or you’ll get fragments instead (that’s more likely).
Soulstones are crafted with fragments and fragments are crafted from other fragments.

Fashion and Brooches

Costumes as we know them…
You can use them as Equipped or Visible.

Only visible affects the design of the character.
Only equipped gives brooches effects.

Each fashion can have up to 3 brooches (1 for each type).
There are 3 types of brooches:

Attack
Defence
Utility

Brooches have 5 different Tiers:
BIT (Green)
KIRO (Blue)
MEGA (Yellow)
GIGA (Red)
TERA (Purple)
If you fill the 3 slots of a fashion with the same tier you’ll get a bonus.

You can fuse 5 of them to get a better one with the following items you buy on Grutin NPC:

Inferior Brooch Fuser is to fuse BIT and KIRO.
The Brooch Fuser is to fuse the other tiers.
Keep in mind they will be destroyed everytime you fuse.
