Breaking Half Life 2 has never been more easier than today.
Setting up the Developer Console
Have you ever just wanted to break Half Life 2? Well now you can with the power of the developer console. With five easy steps you can allow your game to access this menu. First, if your in game hit ESC unless you have the pause button bound to another thing (if you are not this will work on the main page). Then select options. In the options select keyboard. In the keyboard menu is a box titled “Advanced…”, select that box. now click the box next to “enable developer console”. Boom you have now enabled your demise.
Allowing the cheats
Make sure you hit ESC or pause and press the Tilde or ` key if you cant find either it is the key with the ~ on it. This will bring up the console. After that type “Sv_Cheats 1”. Keep in mind using this command disables achievements unless you find a way around it. Using this command allows you to use commands and or cheats as you wish such as “god” and “impulse 101”.
Commands
Now that you have the cheats enabled you can move on to the game breaking commands.
“phys_impactforcescale 9999999999”
“phys_timescale 99999999999”
“host_framerate 99999999999”
“physcannon_maxmass 99999999999999” This allows you to pick up larger objects with your gravity gun/ Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator Gun.
“sk_plr_dmg_[Weapon Name] X” Here you can put any number you’d like but if your really trying to break the game I suggest using one of the numbers above
“sv_infinite_aux_power 1”
“physcannon_mega_enabled 1”
“mat_fullbright 1”
“sv_gravity 400” The normal is 600
“ai_disable”
“cl_phys_timescale 0.05” 1 Is normal
“add mp_timelimit 1”
