Overview
Is rollin’ around at the speed of sound really hard? Have you tried bunny hopping and just failed? Well now you can.. except backwards. Sorta like DeSinc. :/
Binding the keys
I find it easier to ABH by binding the “scroll wheel” or “mouse wheel” to jump. First we will have to access the developer console. I have another guide that explains how to access this menu. The link is Here. Allowing cheats are not necessary for ABHing, so achievements are able to be gained when doing so. Cheats can be disabled or if you want them enabled type the following.
“Sv_Cheats 0” Disables cheats
“Sv_Cheats 1” Enables cheats
Once you set up the developer console insert the following.
“bind MWheelUp +Jump”
“bind MWheelDown +Jump”
Keep in mind you can do this with any key or button on your keyboard and or the mouse; for instants if I wanted to bind jump to K. I would have to type.
“bind K +Jump”
It honestly is just user preference what Key/Button you bind jump to.
Preforming the ABH
Now this is the fun part. It can be hard but you will get the hang of it. First find a nice flat road or something with few obstacles in the way. Then hold the “S” key and spam the scroll wheel and or whatever you set jump to. On the first jump release the “S” key, Hold crouch, and continue to spam the scroll wheel.
This should make you pick up insane amounts of speed, either really slow or super fast. It all depends on how good you are at preforming this death defying act and how fast you spam the scroll wheel. It should look something like this.
