Overview
a guide wich shows you the avaleble equipment, were to find it and how to use it
all equipment
currently all avaleble equipment for ues:
- water extinguisher
- powder/foam extinguisher
- saw
- attack hose

- multiversals
- portable ladders (10, 12, 20, 35Feet)
water extinguisher
the water extinguisher is a portable extinguisher filled with water.
its mostly used to put out realy small fires with no dangerouse fules or items in the fire that can react with the water.
the extinguisher is found on most vehicles
the back bumper
but on some vheicles its hidden in a compartment
powder/foam extinguisher
the powder/foam extinguisher (witch i wil just call extinguisher is this section) is a extinguisher filled with ether a fire retardand powder or a foam. this is used for smaller fires. the powder/foam is for special fires or fules in the fire. couse some fules can react really hevely to water and thats were this extinguisher comes in.
its found on most vehicles mostly in the compartments
saw (K12 saw)
the saw officaly called the K12 Fire Rescue Saw is used for a few diffrent purposes.
opening locks
somtimes a shop or garage wil have a gate with a lock. if there is a fire and you need to get it open you can use the saw to cut the lock.
to do that get the saw in your inventory
go to the lock
then hold left mouse button to aim the saw at the lock and then pres and hold right mousebutton to start the saw.
you know it works wen you see sparks coming of the lock
after a few moments of cutting the lock wil open and the gate wil open giving you acces to the building
a other thing the saw can be used for ist to cut vent holes in roofs.
this is used on bigger fires with high tempretures and/or a lot of smoke
by cutting holes with the saw you can vent smoke to get better visebilety and to steam of heat.
you do this by equiping the saw and taking it on a roof above the buring compartment/building
then wile having the saw out pres “Z” and left mousebutton to start cutting the vent
the saw can be found on all ladder trucks, on squad company 28 and on rescue company 9 in one of the compartments
attack hose
the attack hose is a hose wich is used for atacking the fire. it has a smaller diamiter than the relay hose and has de capebbillety to attatch a spray nossel.
the attack hose is found on all the engines and on squad company 26 on the back of the truck.
to grab a hose you walk to the back of the truck. there wil pop-up some controles. standard you pres “T” to pul a hose. there wil just pop out one hose length. you can grab the end of the hose by pressing “E” and wen you walk away from the engen the hose wil lengthen and more hose lengths wil fall of the truck.
to disconect a connection of 2 hose lengths just walk up to de connecton and (with a empty hand) press “E” to disconet the connection.
the attack hose can be connected to the engine, truck and other vehicles with a small connctions and a pump.
to pump water trough the hose all you have to do is to grab one end of the hose and attach it to a water outlet on the engien and turn on the pump. the other end of the hose you connect or use how ever you want.
if you have a spray nossel in your inventory you can connect it to the end of the nossel, al you have to do is grab the end of the hose thats not connected to the engien and then get the nossel out of your inventory (standard “3”) then hold right mousebutton to aim and left mouse button to spray.
wen you want to return the hozes at the end of a callout you just have to walk to the back of a truck and pres “F” this wil pick up all deployed hoses from the truck and put them back in the truck storage (this does not include the hose packs or supply line)
realay hose
to pump water trough the hose all you have to do is to grab one end of the hose and attach it to a water outlet on the engien and turn on the pump. the other end of the hose you can connect to other engines/trucks or to multiversals.
spray nossel
The spray nossel is a part of equipment thats used on the end of a attack hose or hose pack to create a waterbeam of the water thats pumped trough the hose.
the spray nossel is found in every engine with a pump on it in one of the compartments.
the easyest way to use the nossel is to switch to first person (by pressing [V]), use Right mousbutton to aim and Left mouse button to spray the water on the aimed location.
Dont forget to put on your mask [K] and helmet [H] so you dont suffocate wile fighting the fire
halligan tool
the halligan tool is the firefightsers best frend fore forcable entry. the tool is found on every engien and is used on closed doors that need to be opend.
it is found in most firefighting vehicles mostly in a compartment but on some laddertrucks its mounted on the outside.
to use the tool get it out of the enginen and take it to the door you want opend. at te door pres left mouse button. the firefighter should put the tool between the door and the door frame. as soon as the tool is in possision keep tapping left mousebutton untill the door is opend.
a other place were the tool can be used is on windows (glass windows, not microsoft windows). you can Left klick on a glass window or windscrees of cars and you can brake them to fend smoke out of the boulding/car.
multiversals
a multiversal is a portaple deck gun you can deploy on the ground an after attaching a relay hose be set to spray a fire.
they are mostly stored in the engines around the pump in small compartments
wen you have the multiversal in your inventory you can pres [X] to place it. it wil show up in green on the floor, wen it is green you can pres A,D to turn it left and right so you can aim it in the general direction of wat you want to spray. wen your happy with the placement you can press X again to confirm the possiton.
after placing you can connect a relay hose to it and then use it in the same way as the deck gun on a fire engine (arrow keys to aim and right mouse button to spray).
a nother nice feature of the multiversal jus like the deck gun is that wen you spray and then walk away (out of reach) from the multiversal it keeps spraying towards the aimed possition.
portaple ladder
the portaple ladder is as it sugests a portaple ladder that can be used to resque a cat from a tree, climb smaler buildings or from one roof to a other.
some enginens and most of the ladder trucks have diffrent sizes of the protaple ladder with them.
