How to Make the Valve Intro Never Play Again (with pictures)

INTRODUCTION

Are you like me and want to get straight into the game, skipping the Valve intro? Yes, you can press enter, but there’s a way to make the Valve intro not play at all.

STEP ONE — GO TO THE HL2 LIBRARY PAGE

Now, we must access the game files. This can be done by going to the library page for Half-Life 2.

STEP TWO — ACCESS THE GAME FILES

This can be done by pressing the settings icon.

STEP THREE — GO TO THE ‘MEDIA’ FOLDER

Now, we must go to the media folder. This is inside the ‘hl2’ folder. The media folder stores all the video files for the game.

STEP FOUR — OPEN THE TEXT FILE

STEP FIVE — REMOVE ALL THE TEXT IN THE DOCUMENT AND SAVE

To make the Valve intro play again, re-open the text document and type:
