Overview
Im gonna show you a bunch of cheat codes which you can use in Age of Empires II. Just in cause you wish to get yourself 10.000 resources or summon a penguin to aid in battle.
Where to write the cheats?
Just open chat (ENTER) and type in one of the cheats. Simple!
The Cheats
Resource Cheats:
CHEESE STEAK JIMMY’S – gives player 10000 Food
ROBIN HOOD – gives player 10000 0Gold
ROCK ON – gives player 10000 Stone
LUMBERJACK – gives player 10000 Wood
NINJACONNOR – 100000 of all resources
Map Cheats:
MARCO – Reveals the Map to “Explored” (Does not count towards %explored)
POLO – Removes the Fog of War
Summon Cheats:
FURIOUS THE MONKEY BOY- get a furious monkey boy
TO SMITHEREENS- Gives a sabouter
HOW DO YOU TURN THIS ON- gives a cobra car
I LOVE THE MONKEY HEAD- you get a VDML
I DON’T EXIST – Gives you a penguin-requires The Forgotten (Note that the penguin will speak in the language of your civilisation-which is hilarious)
Note: They will all spawn at your first town center
Player Cheats:
WIMPYWIMPYWIMPY – Destroy yourself
BLACK DEATH – Destroys all enemies
TORPEDO# – destroys player #
I R WINNER – you win 😀
RESIGN-you lose. No idea why you would even want to type this in :P.
Gameplay cheats:
AEGIS- Units train instanly, buildings build instanly, gather resources instantly
Other:
WOOF WOOF – Turns all hawks in the map into flying black dogs with red capes. (Same behaviour as hawks)
NATURAL WONDERS – gives player the control of all animals but lose control of everything else.
Hints
-if cheats dont work, try writing them in normal (nots caps)
-Try Copy Paste (Ctrl+C-Ctrl+V) for maximum effect! You can copy in-game
-Use the MARCO and POLO cheats in campaings to find secrets (and find those pesky side quests)
-Not sure if you now this, but if you press +, the game speed increases. And if you press -, the speed decreases. Speeds , slow (speed x1.0), normal (speed x1.5) and fast (speed x2.0) can be selected in the options. The two super speeds (thats what I call them) very fast (speed x4.0) and super fast (speed x8.0) can only be activated with the +.
