Overview

What is Nongünz? Nongünz is a mix of platform with side scroll shooter, card game and clicker. What do you have to do? Very simple, shoot like crazy, get speakers, and make a collection of cards to destroy the bosses. How do I do it? Do not worry, I’ll explain it in detail.

Introduction

First thing we have to do is complete the basic tutorial. Done this, we will arrive at the graveyard. Here we can prepare us for our adventure, but before, we are gonna explain what we are seeing at the screen and the configuration.

Interface

At the up-left corner of the screen we can see:

  • Health bar

  • Weapon ammo

  • Head ammo

And at the bottom-center of the screen:

  • Score.

  1. The health bar will be decreasing when the enemies hit us or when we open a chest. In the other hand, it will grow every time we kill an enemy, consume a card or going out through the window.
  2. The weapon ammo will decrease with every shot, and it can not be recovered. Each weapon has a determined ammo, but you can carry 100 weapons with you.
  3. The head ammo will show the uses left of our special ability until it disappears. It works the same as the weapones, we can carry a lot of them but we can not find any ammo for it.
  4. The score grows with every shot, with every impact with an enemy, with every kill and with the prayers.

Options and configuration

If we pause the game we will see 4 principal options and a big gray bar at the bottom

  • Inventory

    1. Card album.

Here is where the cards are stored, we can see its benefits and quantity. Also we can consume them to heal ourselves. The heal quantity is 10 * (card level).
      For example, if the card has level 2 – 2, we will heal 10 * 2 = 20. If it is level 5 – 3, we will heal 10 * ((5 + 3) / 2) = 10 * 4 = 40 health points.

    2. Weapons and skulls

    3. Bones drawer.

Where the bones are stored, related with crafting. We will see it later.

  • Followers.
    1. Worshipers

We will found this people in cages inside the dungeon. If we free them, they go out and will start praying to give us some points per time.
As the rest of the cards, there are different types of this guys that will give us different amount of points.

    2. Warriors

We can craft the warriors inside the pantheon. It is at the left side of the graveyard. Inside we will find 4 depots to store our weapons, heads, passive items and bones. And also, there is an altar, where (if we add enough items) we can craft a warrior that can get different objects for us.

These are the different items to add:

      Skull – Chest – Spine – Pelvis – Legs – Arms – Weapon.

    3. Special

There are 4 different special followers. Each one can be found in a different level of the dungeon and has a different utility.

At the first level of the dungeon we can find the vendor. Once he is outside, he will be at the house where we appeared after the tutorial. If we interact with him, he will try to sell us 3 different objects.

At the second level, we can find the gravedigger. Outside, he is at the left side, close to the tree. If we pay him, he will dig new graves where we can store more objects. Also, these new graves will offer us 50 new passive objects.

  • Statistics and benefits.

Each icon informs us about the passive effects that the cards bring us.

  • Options, configuration and “”EXIT””
    1. “”EXIT””

We will “leave” the game, but not really. In the next section I will explain what is there.

    2. Keyboard configuration

    3. Video and audio configuration.

The gray bar at the bottom shows the actual capacity of our inventory. We can carry 100 objects, including weapons, heads, bones and passive items.

Exit, “” The Room””

To close the game, we have to keep pressing the button when we are over the X card, and we will be teleported to a new room. Here, the time goes faster and we will get more worshiper points.

There are some objects to interact here.

  • A PC
  • An ukelele
  • Treadmill
(Time goes faster using this 2)

  • A telescope
  • “”A secret box””
  • The bed. If we use it to sleep, we will close the game.
