Overview
This guide lists the regions that can spawn rebellions led by defeated factions for both Vortex and Mortal Empires.
Reviving a faction
To revive a defeated faction, you need to trigger a rebellion by any means necessary in a specific region (you might need to abandon your province capital) with less than 30% corruption (i.e. untainted must be over 70%).
The rebellion will spawn an army led by generic lord under the banner of the defeated faction. If they manage to capture the city then the faction will eventually recruit their legendary lord(s) and also enables diplomacy (and confederation if applicable).
Note that the revive region for factions changes based on the campaign you are playing (Vortex or Mortal Empires). Below you can find a list of regions where rebellions can be caused by defeated factions (extracted from start_pos_regions table) for every legendary lord (including those who cannot be revived). If there are multiple regions, you choose to cause a rebellion at any of them.
