Oblivion(ing), like its 2018

Overview

Hello fellow GPMR, Ive seen some topics about what mods to use and I cant seem to find an up to date mod list that keeps the original feeling of Oblivion. This is my attempt to list good and immersive mods that dosent break the Oblivion lore (that much). You will with other words n o t see anime hair, freakish physics or emo Cloud sword listed here. Please know that this isnt a guide of how to use mods and its not suppose to be one either – there are plenty good guides of how to mod Oblivion. Also please do read what the modders ask you to do, some mods needs other to work correctly – Oblivion character Overhaul and blockhead are good examples. The listed tools are very important. Without them a heavily modded game will not work correctly, shakeybreakyGood guides/how to´s: Step Oblivion http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Hishutup/OblivionGuideBevilex’ modlist https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/47591/If you find this guide good AF please give a comment or just a thumb up. If you believe it sucks, dont mind to write it in the comments. No more Skooma?

How to setup the differnt mods using a mod manager

For your own well beeing please use a mod manager so you can roll back if you mess things up. Wrye bash is the program for Oblivion. Nothing else.

And then we are at the dreaded “Wrye bash” and how to use it.
Its said to be a hard program to understand. And that is such a big lie that has existed to long in my humble opinion. If you know how to drag and drop files in Windows Explorer you will know how to use Wrye.

How you use Wrye bash:
a) install Wrye bash
b) open the program
c) click on “installers” (upper left corner)
d) download mod.
e) drag the mod to the “installers”
f) right click on mod
g) click on “install”
h) run BOSS (no no no not LOOT)
g) click on “mods” (upper left corner)
i) right click on “Bashed patch, o.esp
j) left click on “Rebuild patch”
k) left click on “build patch”.

My grandfather has given a thumbs of my smart ass guide of how to use WB so I believe you can make it. If you need more help this video is a good introduction of Wrye bash that explains how to use the program.

H. Super lore friendly JUNGLE Oblivion

This is a mod list that will overhaul the game to a more jungle like state. Please keep in mind that it will replace most of the texture mods. But, just look how gorgeous it is! Please see this as an alternative look where you transform the game to something whole different than what the devs had in mind.

Most is Endless Jungle [link]

Jungle Ambiance [link]

Jungle Roads [link]

Rice Paddy Fields [link]

Town Wall Retexture [link]

Bettys Animal Planet [link]

Asian conversion [link]
