The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Guide

How to get in The Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

How to get in The Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion

Overview

This guide will tell you the fastest way to get into The Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion. And no. You will not need to complete the arena questline to kill the adoring fan.

The things you will need.

1. A weapon. I would prefer a bow, or a dagger.
2. A good sneak skill. You don’t need it to go to Expert. Just make it that NPC’s wouldn’t notice you.

Things you need to do to get in The Dark Brotherhood

You must find a beggar. It’s pretty easy. I would recommend to find one Chorrol or Cheydinhall. Look out for guards. You don’t want to get caught. Sneak. And shoot the beggar with a bow. They would die in the first shot but if they don’t. Just risk it. Run after it and kill it. Or sneak up to it and stab it if you are better with melee weapons. And if the beggar doesn’t die in the first hit. Risk it and run after it and kill it. And be sure to kill the beggar when she/he is sleeping.

Risks if you get caught

1. Getting kicked out of the Thieves guild. (if you are in it)
2. Getting a bounty on your head.
3. Going to jail. (depending on what you say to the city watch)
4. Getting killed by the city watch. (depending on what you say to the city watch)
5. Losing your ability to put on the nine divine armor. (depending if you have the dlc and completed the nine divines questline)
6. Losing gold because of your bounty. (depending on what you say to the city watch)
