One Man Army
Kill 25 enemies while being dragged from the restaurant, without dying or restarting checkpoint

At the very start of the game you'll get dragged through a restaurant by Vinnie.
I recommend that you do this on easy, since the enemies die in 1 shot from the pistol.
You need to kill 25 enemies before he drags you through the double doors in the kitchen.

Get ready as soon as you get the pistol because there are 2 enemies that will be immediately available running towards cover.

Also, once you start duel-wielding, don't hesitate to just spam your clip since there's unlimited ammo and your accuracy will have already dropped a bit.

If you fail, restart the level rather than restarting the checkpoint.

That's Why I'm the Boss
Impress Dolfo in two different ways


When you first visit the mansion go out on the balcony and find Dolfo next to some bottles. Talk to him and he will ask you to complete a minigame where you have to shoot all the bottles in 10 seconds. The second time you visit the mansion go out and find Dolfo again. This time he will ask you to complete a minigame where you have to shoot 20/24 pigeons.
Completing both of these tasks will net you this achievement.




Romantic
Real guys know how to dance


When you meet Jenny in the restaurant, she'll ask you to dance. Don't kiss her or anything and just let the song end for the achievement.



Decisions, Decisions
Refuse to cooperate with Victor in the Interrogation


When you are captured by Victor, he will have you choose between 2 of your underlings. Don't make a choice to get the achievement.



The Bird is the Word
Avoid being run over in the parking garage


Sometime after the interrogation, you'll be in a parking lot. There will be a very short slow-motion scene wherein a car will try to run you over. Just keep shooting at it (as you can't avoid it) to get the achievement. I recommend using gun channelling to help boost your damage output.




Carnie Kid
Earn a score of over 1000 in each of the carnival games


There will be 2 separate flashbacks when you visit the carnival. Both flashbacks each have one minigame wherein you use a toy rifle to shoot targets. The first minigame involves shooting ducks that move at different speeds worth different points. The second minigame involves reappearing targets (bandits give points). You can also shoot other background items like portraits to get extra points on the side.

These are story achievements, and can not be missed.

Free the Mind / Don of Darkness / At Home in the Dark

For your first playthrough, I recommend you pick normal difficulty to get a feel for the game.
When starting your playthrough on Don difficulty remember to pick New Game + and not New Game.

Jackie's Got Talent/This Kid's Got Potential/Truly Talented/Talent Show
Purchase a Talent/Max out 1/3/all of Jackie's Talent Trees in the single player campaign

You can upgrade Jackie's talents at the dark riftlike things found on most levels. Doing so for the
first time will grant you the "Jackie's Got Talent" achievement. Completing a single talent tree will net you "This Kid's Got Potential", while completing 3 will give you "Truly Talented". You'll need exactly 36850 essence to unlock every single talent and get the "Talent Show" achievement. You should have enough towards the end of your New Game + run.





Executioner/The Swarm King/The Old Gibber/Cut and Run/Ready for the Big Leagues/Suck It Up/Dark Akimbo
Kill enemies with Executions/Swarm/Gun Channeling/Slash attacks/thrown objects/Black Hole/different akimbo weapons while playing as Jackie

These achievements require you to kill a certain number of enemies with a certain skill or technique. With a little luck it's possible to get all of these in a single playthrough, provided you get Black Hole early. Otherwise you'll have to wrap up any loose ends in New Game +. Here are some tips on how to maximize your efficiency:

- Use as many throwable objects as you can in the early levels since enemies in the later game can often tank several hits before dying.
- Remember to use your slash attacks if someone gets close.
- If you find a black hole try to hold on to it until you meet a larger group of enemies. Remember to avoid the light and resist the urge to grab other objects or eat hearts while holding a black hole.
- Combine Swarm with Gun Channeling against larger groups for maximum effect. Power executions can greatly decrease the cooldown of these abilities.
- Avoid killing enemies with guns unless using Gun Channeling or two different guns in dual wield.
- Keep track of achievements you have completed and focus on the remaining ones.





Karma's a ♥♥♥♥♥
Kill a shielded enemy with his own shield

Find a lone shielded enemy and shoot him until the shield turns normal. Yank the shield from him by pressing "Q" once, shoot him some more until his armor goes down and slice him in two by throwing the shield at him. Don't aim for the head or he might die too quickly.



Skeet Shoot
Throw an enemy into the air and kill him with gunfire before he lands

Simply grab a wounded enemy and throw him upwards by pressing "Q" again. Kill him with gunfire before he hits the ground to get the achievement.





Versatile Killer
Kill enemies in 5 different ways within 30 seconds

You can get this as early as the first chapter during the street or subway sections. There are
numerous combinations you can use, just remember to mix things up. I recommend starting with
an execution and continuing with a grab&throw. Kill someone with a thrown object, get close and
slash the next one and just shoot the last enemy in the head while uttering the wittiest one-liner you can think of for good measure.



Impish Delight
Kill 15 enemies while playing as the Darkling

During the campaign you'll get two chances to control the darkling directly. While doing so you
can kill enemies by sneaking up near them and holding down the "Q" key. You don't need to kill
everyone you see, only about 75% of them.





2 Guys 1 Pole
Kill 2 enemies with one javelin

I recommend getting this one in the first chapter. There are plenty of throwable items lying around that can be used as a javelin. Pick one up and find two enemies with guns standing relatively close together. They will keep shooting at you without moving so you'll have plenty of time to line them up and take your shot carefully.

Pick up 5 Relics in the single player campaign


You will get this while going for Relic Hunter.

Find all 29 Relics in the single player campaign


There's 29 collectibles throughout of the game. The game remembers which you've picked up, so if you pick some up on your normal playthrough, you don't have to pick them up on your New Game + playthrough.
Gamesradar made a pretty good collectible guide, and I recommend that you use that.

The first 4 are related to a single mission. As for "The Brotherhood Crumbles" all vendetta campaign missions need to be completed first before it unlocks.
