Step-by-Step guide of all the souvenirs locations in Life Is Strange 2.
Before You Start
As similar in Life Is Strange , the second one offers as well a mode called “Collectible Mode”. It makes it fairly easy to collect the souvenirs, rather than play all episodes again. Other than that, it won’t be saving your choices. That means you can try to choose another answer than your first play-through without having any consequences on the story.
Select your Save file and go to “Play Episodes”
Select a scene in which you haven’t collected all souvenirs. If a scene has a collectible a kind of Red Badge indicates that that specific scene has a collectible. After clicking a scene, select “Collectible Mode” Ez so far right?
Let’s start collecting!
Episode 1: Roads
After completing Episode 1, you will receive the following achievement.
Finish Episode 1
You can let Sean draw his surroundings. These drawings can be find in your journal. To unlock this achievement you have to go for example to one of the rocks near the water. It says “Sit and Draw” and you just follow what the game says.
Start any drawing in Episode 1
Go to the river. Collect the logs and build a fire. After that you have some time to walk around. At the far left near the water, there is a tree which has an “Odd Thing” in it.
First look at it, then ask Daniel to help you get the thing out of the tree.
Find optional collectible #1 in Episode 1
You arrive at the gas station. Go to the back and you will find some fire logs with a jack-o-lantern next to it. There is a small gap between the logs and jack-o-lantern with a box. Select “Move it” and there will be a bird flying away. Pick up the feather.
Find optional collectible #2 in Episode 1
Go to the shop at the gas station. At the counter you will see some keychains. Select “Show” and the shopkeeper will give you a free keychain.
Find optional collectible #3 in Episode 1
This souvenir can be as well be found in the gas station shop. Go to the window next to a “scarily refreshing” poster and fire extinguisher. There are stickers in the windowsill which say “Truckers”. Get one for free.
Find optional collectible #4 in Episode 1
While sitting on the bench just outside the Three Seals motel, you can play fetch with the dog. Make sure to throw the stick against or anywhere around the sign. The dog will bring back a pendant on the stick.
Find optional collectible #5 in Episode 1
Go inside your motel room. After talking to Daniel, open the closet next to the TV. On the right shelf you can find a card. Please note, you have to first “Look” at it, before you can “Pick it up”.

After collecting the above souvenirs, you will receive an achievement.

Episode 2: Rules
After completing Episode 2, you will receive the following achievement.
Finish Episode 2
After breakfast “Sit and draw” at the spot near the fireplace.
Start any drawing in Episode 2
Before entering the cabin, look at the tree behind the two-headed snow-ogre. Ask Daniel to lift the box out of the tree. Inspect the metal box. Take the Power Bear.
Find optional collectible #1 in Episode 2
While doing chores at Stephen and Claire’s house, go to the model train set. Please note, you can’t play with the train model if: Stephen is still at his model train set, you haven’t got the shed key and haven’t played hide and seek with Daniel yet. First finish all those actions
Follow the steps below.
- Set the most right switch to “Right”
- Refill the coal
- Set the most right switch to “Forward”
- Send it through the tunnel
- Stop the train at the station and “Check” the sign.
You can toggle the trainspeed with the middlemouse button.
Find optional collectible #2 in Episode 2
This souvenir can be found on the snowman in Chris’ garden. Take the bottle cap.
Find optional collectible #3 in Episode 2
Sort Chris’ figurines. Follow the table below. Chris will give you an epic figurine.
Find optional collectible #4 in Episode 2
Go to the Christmas Market. Listen to the entire song of the guitar player. Speak to her again. After she leaves, there is a guitar pick lying on the ground. Pick it up.
Find optional collectible #5 in Episode 2
Inside Karen’s room, “Play” the CD-player. It isn’t plugged in yet. “Plug” the CD-player in and “Play” the CD-player again. Inside, you can find a ticket.

Episode 3: Wastelands
After completing Episode 3, you will receive the following achievement.
Finish Episode 3
After leaving your tent you can go to the middle of the campsite and start a drawing next to the campfire.
Another possibility to draw is when you get back from the farm. Go to your tent and sit on the chair next to it. You can choose to draw either Cassidy or Finn.
The last possible spot to draw in this episode is when you’re sitting with the group around the campfire.
Start any drawing in Episode 3
Pet the dog at the campsite. After a while, pet it again at another spot. Follow the dog and he will dig up a skull next to a tree. Pick it up.
Find optional collectible #1 in Episode 3
While working at the farm, there will be a pen appearing from the pile after cutting a while. Pick it up. (I cut about 11 before I could find the pen) Not difficult to find this souvenir!
Find optional collectible #2 in Episode 3
Have a conversation with Finn. He will show you his cool wood carving skills. Later on, he will toss a piece of wood behind his tent. Pick it up.
Find optional collectible #3 in Episode 3
Meet Daniel at the lake. Before you start training, go to the right corner. Next to some logs is a fossil lying on the ground. Pick it up.
Find optional collectible #4 in Episode 3
After getting your tattoo (or not). Talk to Ingrid and she tells you that she ihas some stuff that she is going to throw away, but that you can have a look whether it’s useful for you. Turns out there is a cute Swedish horse, ready to be picked up by you.
Find optional collectible #5 in Episode 3
Get the screwdriver from the toolbox. Then go to the locker behind the truck and search it. On the highest shelf there are some bullets. Pick them up.

Episode 4: Faith
After completing Episode 4, you will receive the following achievement.
Finish Episode 4
In the hospital you have a sketchbook lying in front of you.
Another possibility is when walking in the desert. You will reach a shade where you can sit down and draw the desert.
The last possible spot is in the motel near the window when Karen is away.
Start any drawing in Episode 4
After Joey pays a visit to you to clean up your eye you can pick up his pen at the table next to the bed.
Find optional collectible #1 in Episode 4
When you arrive at your nap spot you can pick up the agent’s card.
Find optional collectible #2 in Episode 4
After resting in the desert, passed the billboard is a coyote. Follow the coyote. Pick up the skull on the ground.
Find optional collectible #3 in Episode 4
Once you reached the church there is a box with pins lying on a table. Pick up a pin.

After getting out of the shower, open the drawer between the beds. Pick up the casino token.

Go inside Lisbeth’s house into Daniel’s room in the back of the house. Underneath the pillow is a drawing.

Episode 5: Wolves
After completing Episode 5, you will receive the following achievement.
Finish Episode 5
At the canyon the sketching book is lying next to you. Draw the canyon.
Start any drawing in Episode 5
Walking down the canyon road after the weed on the left path, there is a shiny object in the distance. Ask Daniel to help you get the shiny object.
Find optional collectible #1 in Episode 5
After helping with the sculpture together with Joan, Daniel will want to play a treasure hunt.
The first clue is under the windmill.
The second clue is behind the solar panels.
and lastly the treasure/collectible is underneath one of the cars.
When you approach there will be an option to “Look” at the cars. Underneath the perched car with that “Look” option is the treasure.
Find optional collectible #2 in Episode 5
Right outside Karen’s trailer are crop boxes. On the one of the right most ones are stickers on one of the wooden poles. “Look” at the stickers first, then you can pick one up.
Find optional collectible #3 in Episode 5
After the hike in the mountains, speak with David. When he goes into the trailer to take a call, to the left of his trailer on the ground are two propane tanks with “junk” next to them. “Look” at it first, then “pick up” the bottle opener.
Find optional collectible #4 in Episode 5
Once you reach the wall, follow the tire tracks to the road, but dont step onto the road yet. Turn right and follow it for a bit. On your lefthand side will be rocks with blue containers hiding. Make your way towards them and “look” and “pick up” the stone that sits on top of the canisters.

After breaking into the door and getting back Sean’s backpack, there is the vigilantes bag on one of the bottom racks. “Look” at it, then “Pick up” the American Flag pin.
