󠀡MEET BEN FIX UPDATE see “Meet Ben section”Although I am aware that it would make everything easy and quick, since I personally classify “console commands” and “file editing” as cheating I will not make use of them in this guide. Please note that neither of those are strictly used to cheat therefore, not everyone uses them as a way to get an advantage. Feel free to use any of these methods if needed but keep in mind that this guide expects you to get the achievements the way they were intended. Thank you for understanding

Welcome to Ben and Ed

Pro Gamer
Complete the tutorial

Shadow Of Hans
Start the level editor.

Then add a new level by clicking on the plus button.

Here’s what you must do in order to create a valid map:

– There has to be a starting checkpoint and a goal placed in your map.
– A level thumbnail. (The camcorder prop)
– Finally, give your level a name and you’re done.

The starting point, goal and level thumbnail can be found in the “special” tab (Stars icon) of the lower screen. As for the name of your level, just click the “SHOWOPTIONS” button in the upper left corner to display the options.

Use Your Head
Complete any level with just your head left. No need to complete the entire level with your head, just throw it in the goal at the end by holding “RMB“.

Brainless
For Brainless you have to play as the brain. You will randomly transform into one as your head pops. (You have to be headless first for this to work)

What you should see:

Rotten but famous
Complete every singleplayer maps of the game.

Grindy Achievements

Acid Doctor
For this one you can create a map with one syringe spawner on a 4 player splitscreen. No need to have 4 keyboards for this, the remaining players will respawn as you kill them with the syringe.

!! MAKE SURE YOU STICK THE SYRINGE INSIDE THE OPPONENTS, OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT COUNT AS PROGRESSION

When an infected player explodes near another, it infects the closest one, which keeps going on in a loop. I haven’t thought of any ways to avoid that, you’ll be fine if you’re quick enough.

Here’s how it should look like. Make sure you create a map with infinite lives and time, keep the goal far away or you’ll have to restart the map each time you accidentally step on it.

These 3 are quite straight forward, just roll around with your head for 1 hour (in total) to get all of them. No need to do it in one go, your time will progress as you roll around.

I Believe I Can Fly

Chicken Wings

Same thing as the 3 above, except this time you have to hold on to chickens for 30 minutes to get all 3 of them.

What I did is create a map with chicken spawners. (Infinite lives and time)
Then, I just kept picking them up. No need to jump/fly with it. Just stand next to a chicken spawner and keep on picking them up.

Now this is where it gets more “grindy”.
Getting this without a workshop map is quite tedious, so here’s a map to get them relatively quickly.

Chainsaw Slaughter

Tremendous Chainsaw Escalation

The last 3 are probably the longest ones to achieve although not impossible.
The routine stays the same: You create a map, this time with chainsaw spawners, then you start your map with 4 players. I suggest you to put syringes as well to kill them with acid if they ever stay alive.

Grab a chainsaw.

Cut the most players you can. (Each limbs removed count as progression which means one player can give you more than one body part)

Drop the chainsaw.

Grab a syringe, splash the “leftovers” (so they can respawn), rince and repeat. Patience is required for that one.

You might experience some texture glitches. Don’t be scared to restart the map if anything of the sort happens, your progression won’t be lost.

~ 40 minutes to get them, maybe less

Hidden Achievements

Met An Old Friend
Recreate Ed from the first game.

Since he isn’t wearing the exact same clothes, you can refer to the image below.

Trashmaster
Create a map and place 50 trash bins wherever you want.

Pogo God
Turn 2 or 3 times with a pogostick while falling.
It should be exactly 720 degrees.

Fallen Villain
Start the “Remember Hans” map, whether you’re playing solo or with friends doesn’t matter.

As you begin the level, walk forward and look down to see a pogostick by the block building. Jump there and grab it.

Next, you’ll see a platform of hardened lava behind the pillar you’re on. To get there, press “space” for a jump boost while holding “shift” to jump at a higher distance.

As you arrive on the lava platform, there will be a tower to your left which you can climb with your pogostick. Once you arrive on top, jump back on the main level.

!! DO NOT DROP YOUR POGOSTICK

Run past the starting checkpoint to get on the right side of the level.

Here’s your next destination.

On the last picture you should see another tower, you’ll have to climb it as well.
From the first platform you get to, jump on the opposite side of the tower to face the third one.

To get on the other side, you’ll have to make a very long jump. (Again: “space” + “shift”)

Now that you’re on the other side, go around the right of the third tower until you see a long pipe.

Use that pipe to get on the last tower, where Hans actually is.

Again, go around the right to meet the fallen villain (He’s inside the tower). be careful! There’s some pillars above each platform. If you bump your head on one of them you’ll lose your pogostick!

To get in, drop your pogostick and jump in the building.
!! DO NOT THROW YOUR HEAD INSIDE! IF YOU DO, YOU WILL NOT UNLOCK THE ACHIEVEMENT

Meet Ben

Meet Ben

Start the “Patorra Tower 2” map and press the “ key on your keyboard. A menu should then appear as shown below.

While the menu is active, press “tab” to enable spectator mode and fly to the tower that has “type my name” written on it. It should be the nearest one in front of you once your reach the top of the level where the 3 chickens stands.

Make sure you’re in the correct position and without touching anything else just type “zhans” on your keyboard, without quotes. If successful, you’ll see some arrows pointing down.

Now press tab again to exit spectator mode and go through the level normally. Once you reach the top use one of the chicken to get back where we were.

Next you’ll want to drop down to the opposite side of the tower. Follow the screenshots for the path I took. Again, you can refer to the video if you need more precise directions.

Once you reach the bottom, there will be a golden Hans beneath the debris, simply walk towards him. Your game will then appear to freeze until the secret level is fully loaded. At this point you just have to walk through it until you reach a certain spot (can’t remember where) and the achievement should pop (providing the update didn’t break that as well, let me know if it doesn’t).

As you first arrive, the level will seem “glitchy” or whatever but it’s all intentional. Walk straight ahead and make sure you stay on the right side of the rail, otherwise you’ll fall through it (for some reason the left side has some random collision spots)

Once you get where you have to jump on some olives, the second one will disable the light, this makes it hard to jump on the third one since you basically can’t see anything. Rotating the camera to face the player should fix the issue. Jump on the mini boost platform and try not to land too close to the borders of the billboard.

Next part shouldn’t be too hard, continue along until you reach the checkpoint.

The purple stairs have hidden bombs indicated by the blinking yellow lights, don’t touch them or they’ll send you flying off the level.

At the top walk straight ahead, you’ll enter a room with multiple ben’s (I think this is where you get the achievement). Again, walk straight between them until you enter a corridor with “Welcome home Ed” written on a banner.
