I couldn’t upload anything since February (Got an upload ban till 03/18 4:50pm >.<) I planned to upload the Guide instantly after the release of the game, well 5 days later I’m finally able to do so. ( ´ ▽ ` )

Since the guide was created during the beta phase, it’s possible that there will be some changes if the game should be different after release, even if I highly doubt that though. My achievements unlocked just fine, but if yours don’t or if you encounter another problem, feel free to tell me that in the comment section and I’ll try my best to help you. 🙂

You can always use Record of Service for the Bad and Unrequited Love Endings. I prefer to use this feature instead of many safe files (Am I the only person which hates it to have tons of safe files? xD). You can select every chapter with Low/High Romance and Low/High Corruption for any character with this option.

About the Blood Sucking/Fury CG’s: You always have three options: Give him blood, Give him medicine and Make him endure it. Only the medicine option doesn’t lead to any CG’s (and is kinda futile) but the other two will (Only the background will change).

There is no need for save files, we will pick up the missing CG’s while playing the Bad Endings.

Route Order Recommendation (Experience and Story Reveal):

Hijikata would be an obvious choice to go first, but especially if you haven’t played any Hakuoki title except for Kyoto Winds, I’d suggest playing his and Chikages route near the end since their routes complement each other very nicely. However, decide for yourself, this order is just a personal preference.

You will unlock the achievement for obtaining all CG’s after opening the Gallery once you have collected all of them. It is neccessary to play all Endings (Good, Game Over, Bad and Unrequited) to unlock all CG’s.

You may want to skip the following part if you intend to follow the guide anyways.

The following part is a collection of some hints for those who may want to play through the game without really using a guide. The mechanics are pretty easy.

Take a look at Warrior’s Record once in a while, it will show you the current state of the Romance and Corruption level.

With Showing Romance enabled in the options, it shows you if your answer increased the romance between you and your love interest.

Good Endings:

This Ending requires that you have High Romance and Low Corruption. You should always choose Give him Blood to decrease the Corruption. There is only one Good Ending for each character.

Bad Ending/Game Over Ending:

You need Low Romance and High Corruption. (Almost) Every Chapter has one Game Over Ending. Every Character has one Bad Ending that occurs in the last chapter.

Unrequited Love Ending:

You need Low Romance and Low Corruption. This Ending only occurs in the Last Chapter and every character has one of it. Prepare some tissues .___.

Chikage Kazama has only one Bad Ending and no Game Over Endings and he also doesn’t has a Corruption Level, so you will need Low Romance and a different answer to obtain his Unrequited Love Ending instead of his Bad Ending.

Sano also doesn’t have a Corruption Level, but his route works pretty much the same way as the others.
