12 Reasons why you should use AlchemistNPC Lite over AlchemistNPC Full version.
What is AlchemistNPC Full?
In case you have no idea what AlchemistNPC Full is, neither do I. I have spent countless hours researching and playing this mod, and I truly cannot make any sense of this absolute dumpster fire of a mod. Simply put, AlchemistNPC Full, is an extended version of AlchemistNPC Lite, which adds more “content”.
12 Reasons Why AlchemistNPC (Full) is Terrible
- 1: While the Full version of AlchemistNPC consumes almost 30 megabytes of RAM, the Lite version uses so little it is quite literally nearly undetectable, making the Full version of AlchemistNPC somewhere over 100000 times more RAM heavy, at least.
- 2: The Full version of AlchemistNPC has a Ugandan Knuckles boss.
- 3: Since the Full version is almost 12 times larger than the Lite version in file size, AlchemistNPC Full is basically bloatware.
- 4: The Last Tantrum. I don’t think I have to say anymore than that.
- 5: Many pieces of spritework for things in the Full version, just look objectively terrible.
- 6: Just everything about the Otherworldy Amulet. The mount, they way you get it, the sprite, it’s all complete and utter ♥♥♥♥.
- 7: Nearly all sprites are either undersized or oversized, leading to pretty much nothing from the mod looking how it should, and not at all fitting with Terraria’s style.
- 8: The fact that you can load up 15 other large content mods with this, not know anything about any of them, be given a full inventory of random items from all the different mods, and without WMITF be able to immediately tell which items are from AlchemistNPC, is NOT a good sign.
(If you were too daft to understand what I just said, I’m saying that the items from AlchemistNPC Full are absolutely terrible constructed and compared to other mods are just sad.) - 9: Bill Cipher boss fight. Why the ♥♥♥♥ does this exist.
- 10: The Ban Hammer.
- 11: Full version loves making you grind.
- 12: Basically just literally everything added by the Full version.
TL;DR
AlchemistNPC Full is quite literally one of the worst mods ever created, is a complete ♥♥♥♥ pile, and utterly un-redeemable.
To all the people’s feelings I hurt, sorry you aren’t able handle someone’s opinion.
