[2021] How to use mods after the latest Origin update

What to do when you applied the mods, but the game won’t launch through the Frosty Mod Manager or the game will just launch without the mods.Updated: 2021.01.23.

How to: Use mods after the latest Origin update

0, Apply your mods using the Frosty Mod Manager[frostytoolsuite.com] (FMM) like before.

1, Your game won’t launch/will launch but without mods and that’s expected.

2, Open Steam, right click on SW Battlefront 2 -> select Properties.

3, Enter the following in the Launch options field:

-datapath “.ModData”

like this:

Done!
Now every time you launch the game you will launch the modded game. Which means you should be careful when using not MP compatible mods!
If you want to install/update/remove a mod, just apply them again with the Mod manager, but the MM itself is not required to launch the modded game after you made this change.

To undo it, just remove everything from the Launch options field.
