7 Days To Die Biomes POI Locations Alpha 9 – Navezgane

Overview

Ok so in the recent updates of this game they took away our ability to be able to see the full map. So i have started opening the map up for you and have labeled the Points Of Interest (POI) Eventually I will open and label the whole map. But for now I have done the Snow,Burnt Forest, Wasteland and Desert Biomes. Currently working on The Forest Biomes.PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GUIDE IS NOT COMPLETED YET AND MY SPELLING IS NOT PERFECT EITHER. IF I HAVE MISSED SOMETHING THEN PLEASE LET ME KNOW. ALSO IF YOU FIND THE GUIDE HELPFUL PLEASE COMMENT 🙂

The Snow Biome- Navezgane

So today i hopped into flying mode on single player and decided to open up the Snow Biome.
The Snow Biome is white on the map and is located in the top right hand corner of the map. There are several Points Of Interest (POI) in this biome. As well as a couple of special zombies, Frostbitten Worker, Frozen Lumberjack, and Zombie Dogs, lots of Zombie Dogs.

So here is the map, I have marked the POI on it for this biome. Feel free to print it out for yourself 🙂

Lets Talk about some of the places to visit in this biome.

Gas Stations

There are 2 gas stations here, I have marked them on my map for you to find. These are both slightly different in appearance but do the same job. My main reason for visiting the gas stations in any biome is to find Oil Barrels . There are also cars to loot which have some good tools, mainly lead batteries, Brass radiatiors, Tools etc. You may or may not be lucky enough to find and Auger or a Chainsaw in one of the cars.

The gas stations are heavily guarded by zombie dogs and zombies, but there is plenty of loot inside the buildings if you can survive long enough to get inside. They also have roof access which would be a safe place to spend your first night or any night if you get stuck and its too late to get back to your base. Just remember to plug up the ladder access so that the zombies cant get to you 🙂

Military Base

The Military Bases are great places to visit if you want to collect some explosives and loot. However, there are loads of zombies here that you will have to kill in order to get inside the area to loot it. Surrounding the area are Landmines so watch your step. You can either pick these up and take them home with you or lead the zombies into them and watch them explode :D.

There are different kinds of loot here and it is definately worth a visit. You will find, Sandbags, Barbedwire Fencing, Food, Landmines, and Munitions Boxes. although for some reason there doesnt seem to be any Munitions Boxes since the recent update so hopefully that will change.

The Military Base is not a good place to spent the night as a friend and I found out during one of our gameplay sessions. There is a tower that we decided to sit on to wait for morning and it wasnt long before a horde came, spotted us and knocked down the tower so that we almost fell to ur death. It was hilarious though. Here is the video from Alpha 8.

Campsite

There is one Campsite in this biome, It just has a few tents from which you can break with one of your tools and gather the cloth. Cloth is useful for crafting Bandages mainly or a Sleeping Bag. At the Campsite you fill find plenty of Zombies and perhaps the odd Zombie Dog. Its a good place to visit if you need a Sleeping Bag or Food. You may find a Cooking Pot here too

The Logging Depot

The Logging Depot is one of the biggest POI in the Snow Biome. It has Several seperate buildings to loot. It is heavily guarded by zombies, Mainly the Frozen Lumberjack who is strong zombie that will take several shots to kill.

However if you can clear the area you will be rewarded with some fairly decent loot such as OIl Barrels, Food, Ammo, Brass, Iron, Lead etc. If you can find a way to get on top of one of the buildings here then this would be a safe place to spent the night if you get stuck after dark.

Logging Mansion

This POI is one that I am yet to visit, but from what I have seen it is huge and has some very good loot. It is possible that there might be a Gun Safe here but I am not sure as like i said, I am yet to explore this building. From what I can tell the building is a huge house that has several rooms with the usual loot insite that you would find in one of the house Prefabs. There is a kitchen where you can find food, bedrooms with nighstands to loot. I guess if you wanted to fortify the area you could use it as your home. Remember though, if you take over one of the buildings and use it as home, expect Zombies to spawn there. I have taken over several of pre built builings and have always forund that these are not safe places to set up a permanent home, just because the Zeds spawn there at the beginning of every loot cycle.

The Manison is heavily guarded by Zombie Dogs also, so that is probably why I have not looked at it properly as I have never statyed alive long enough to get inside and explore it properly. But still a good place to visit if you are feeling brave 🙂

The Rangers Station

This Building is located on its own on the edge of the Snow Biome next to the Radiation Zone. I have marked it on my map for you to see where it is and how to find it. This building is made of log cabin wood and is identical to the one found by Spillway Lake. Its large and inside you will find a Gun Safe, plus some lockers full of loot which you can brak with a Pickaxe and take with you. There is also a small kitchen with cabinets that you can loot for food. If you fancy spending the night here, i would suggest you head to the roof and block off the stairs to prevent the Zeds from gaining access to you.

Log Cabins

Just off a side road beside a small lake you will find some log cabins. There are a total of 4 here, all with similar loot, mainly food. One or two of them have Gun Safes inside and most of them have a Campfire.

On the road infront of the cabins you will find a few cars with loot inside. Its worth checking the cars because you might find Chainsaws or Augers inside.

So thats it. I hope you found this useful. Its just a start and I will be covering all the Biomes and adding them to the guide once i have explored them.

Desert Biome- Detailed Map

Ok so I’m back with another 7 Days To Die Biome. This time I am going to talk about the Desert Biome and its Points Of Interest (POI) and show you my uncovered map of this biome with labelled POI. It has taken me ages to unlock the map and find and label all the locations in each biome so its not completely perfect and the map has been cut and pasted and put together by me to help you. So please be nice and I hope you will find this guide useful. If it helps you please post a comment and share it with others.

Anyway here is the Desert section of Navezgane

I have tried to label the area as best as i can, But some of the campsites are unclear on the map so I may have missed a couple, i think there are 4 in total. So I will start off with the Campsites I think as these are the most common prefab oin the Desert.

Campsites

The Campsites come in various different sizes and some are larger than others. The screenshots above and below show the examples of different camps and sizes.

Either way there is some fairly good loot to be found, and some of the camps have a car or two where you can find tools and car parts, like lead batteries etc which can be turned into ingots in the forge. You will also find food, a campfire, backpacks, the odd cooler and sometimes a Cooking Pot and a Sleeping bag. The Tents can be destroyed and from doing that you can collect cloth. Mind The Zombie Dogs when you approach the Camps.

Hotel

As of Alpha 9 there is a new Prefab in the desert. A rather large Hotel which is located in the bottom right of the biome next to the Radiation zone.

The hotel has many rooms and is enormous in comparison to some of the other buildings in the game. There is a swimming pool at the back complete with tables and sun umbrellas. It does look pretty cool.

The Hotel looks pretty sturdy and with plenty of loot and roof access would be a good safe place to spend your first night.

Garbage Dump

The Garbage Dump is not my favourite place to go just because it is so huge and there are a hell of a lot of Zombie Dogs there. But if you can stay alive once you get there it is a very good place to loot.

Inside there is a large building where I found some Oil Barrels. There are also several cars in the outside are to loot. Plus the large Dumpsters are filled with Trash piles where you can find plenty of Iron and Bullet Casings. There are several fridges that you can break with your Pickaxe and take with you if you want to. The roof isnt very strong so if you plan on camping here for the night stay away from the centre otherwise it will collapse and kill you.

Houses

On the Left of the Desert there is a small housing complex. There are around 10 or so small single story houses for you to loot. I have marked it on the map for you.

They all have pretty much the same layout and some have an attic space for you to hide in if you get stuck away from home after dark. This area would be a good place to collect Brass so take along your Pickaxe because lights, and Faucets can be broken down and taken with you for scrap brass. Plus if you break the white doors you and collect the brass door handles too.

Gas Station

There is only one Gas Station in the Desert. Its easy to find and sits next to the Ansel Adams River by the Bridge

Inside and around the Gas Station you will find Oil Barrels and a few cars to loot. The building is sturdy and you could spent a night here if you wanted to. There is roof access too.

The place is crawling with Zombies though so dont forget your Shotgun 🙂

Old Mole

Old Mole is a small Wild West themed town in the Desert. Its one of my favourite places to visit as there is plenty of loot and some Gunsafes hidden in some of the buildings. You wil need to be creative in the way you go about getting to these safes as there are alot of barred walls and you will need to take a Pickaxe to get through.

a little tip for you if you didnt know. Inside the grounds of the church ins a graveyard and some graves. If you dig the ground with your Shovel you can loot the coffins in the ground.

Most of the buildings also have Oil Barrels either inside or outside them. So if you have found and Auger or a Chainsaw this would be a good place to come and find fuel for it.

Ok thats it for the Desert Biome. I hope you find this guide helpful. If I have missed anything or you would like me to add something please let me know. Feel free to print out the map too, just dont upload it as your own anywhere else. Thank you

Burnt Forest- Navezgane- Map

Ok I’m back again with another section of the Navezgane map. I have been using the creative mode of the game to unlock the map and make this guide for you. This time I am going to talk about the Burnt Forest and show you some of the Points Of Interest (POI). I havent exactly named everything because that would be impossible as this biome is mainly ruins. But the main buildings that are worth visiting are labelled on the map for you here.

Feel free to ask me to add something if i have missed an important location. You may print the map and use it but please do not upload it as your own in one of your guides. It has taken me a long time to carefully paste the sections together so its not absolutely perfect.

So anyway the Burnt Forest Biome is just as the name suggests. It’s a burned out forest with nothing but ruins of buildings past. The sun does not shine here and it is very dark and gloomy, the sound effects and dark music that plays in the background on entering the biome make it pretty creepy. The main reason I visit this biome if for the Coal Ore, which are shown as dark blobs on the map and there is lots of it. Here’s what it looks like.

Apart from Coal the Burnt Forest is home to Hornets, Zombie Dogs and Burn Victim Zombies. The Burn Victims are just like regular Zombies and dont do anything special. A couple of the houses in forest have Hornet Hives which you can break with an Axe and take with you to your base and they will spawn Honey for you after every loot cycle. Honey gives you extra stamina. The Hornets Also drop Honey when killed. This is one of the houses that has the hives . I call it Honey House.

Like I said there is not much in this biome but you do have to walk through it to get to the wasteland and desert biomes as it is runs through the centre of the map from left to right.

So here are some POI for you …

Military Base
There is a small Military Base in the Burnt Forest, it is located on the left hand side of the area. There isnt much here but you can pick up Barbed Wire Fencing, Landmines, Food and Cloth from breaking down the tents.

Watch you step though, the place is swarming with Zombies and there are Landmines around the parimeter of the base.

Rangers Station

There is a ruin that stands on its own that I have labelled Rangers Station as it looks exactly the same as the Rangers Stations in the other biomes. I did check inside but it didnt seem to have a Gun Safe. But I guess that when the fire started the Rangers took everything with them including the safe lol. However there is still some good loot here and this building probably the most sturdy on this part of the map as it is the only one that hasnt been affected by fire.

So if you are stuck out after dark then this building would be the best one to stay at over night.

The Town

There is a tiny burned out town in the centre of this biome and there are a few houses with garages and some cars on the road to loot. The area has loads of Zombie Dogs so be really careful when visiting the area. I would say there are around 5 houses here all with kitchens to loot for food. the cars are worth checking because they may contain and Auger or a Chainsaw.

Ruins

Also on the map are loads of ruins, some are houses and some are just corners of houses. But most of them have loot. They are also surrounded by Cinder Blocks which are needed to make Concrete, so its worth picking those up. some of the ruins have the white wooden doors too, and if you hit those with an axe you will break them and collect the Brass Door Knobs. These can be made into brass ingots in the forge and then turned into ammo later once you have found the Ammunition Nation book.

And thats it for this biome, hopefully you found this guide helpful 🙂

Your Guide To The Wasteland Biome- With Map

Another day, another biome. As promised I am back with another biome from Navezagane. This time I have been busy unlocking the wasteland section of the map and labelling all the POI ( Points Of Interest)
Remember its not perfect but hopefully it will help you 🙂 so here it is

So now you’ve seen the map I’ll give you a little info on the interesting places to visit here and what to expect when you visit the Wasteland.

The wasteland area of the Navezgane is located in the bottom left corner of the map and you must go through the Burnt Forest to get to it ( see my Burnt Forest map and guide for info on that biome and the map). The wasteland is not my favourite place to visit so I dont go there very often. It full of broken buildings, thiere is no greenery and its quite dark and gloomy. Like the Burnt Forest it also has plenty of Zombie Dogs and a special zombie, The Puking Policeman. Yeah watch out for him.

The Puker is abit like the fat Ace Ventura zombie that walks around but instead he Pukes green acid that can burn through building blocks and kill you if you get too close. You can hear him coming though because he makes disgusting pukey burpy noises when close. On shooting the poilce zombie puker he will sometimes explode. But if you manage to kill him before he does, you can loot the body and find Ammo or Guns.

You should familiarise yourself with the Puking Policeman because not only do they live in the Wasteland, They also appear during the Super Horde which comes every 7th night.

Also in this biome there are ruined sections of buildings like in the Burnt Forest and you will also find plenty of Cinder Blocks, which you can turn into Gravel, combine with Stone and make into Concrete.

The Lockers in the ruined building corners also sometimes contain ammo. You can also hit these lockers with a pickaxe and take them with you just like fridges, file cabinets and coolers and they will spawn loot at every loot cycle when placed in your base.

So now for some of the POI

Gravetown

So first, as its the main city if you like of the wasteland I will talk a little about Gravetown. Gravetown is a huge ruined city within the wasteland and although it has lots of dangers like the puking policeman and plenty of zombie dogs you will still want to visit it if you are feeling brave. I tend to only go with friends on our multiplayer server. Its easier to loot the place in a group because you can watch eachothers backs. Well thats how we play anyway. Most of the ruins have some kind of safe, either an Gun Safe of a Desk Safe. Most of the buildings look as though they were once office blocks of some kind. The area has an industrial feel to it.

So as of Alpha 9 3 new buildings were added to Gravetown, The First one also my favourite is the Apartment Block

This building has several floors and is absolutely huge! On every floor there are kitchens with Food and loads of doors which if you break with an axe you can collect the brass door knobs and use them in the forge to make your ammo for you guns. I have stayed overnight on the roof of the apartment building and it is very safe, just watch out for the Hornets.

The next new building that was added is the Multistory Carpark. The Carpark has 3 floors and each one has a car or two, which you can loot and find tools, Lead Batteries and sometimes you may find an Auger or a Chainsaw. We managed to find a Chainsaw in one of the cars in the wasteland.

last but not least is the Cinema. I really like this building, its been really cleverly made and when you go inside it actually looks like a cinema. It even has the huge screen and multiple rooms to loot.
There is also roof access and I have stayed on the roof overnight and managed to survive with a couple of friends of mine, again beware of the Hornets and of course the Spider Zombie, who can climb up buildings of pretty much any height.

The Cinema just like the Apartment block is an excellent place to look for loot, honestly you can find pretty much anything there, Food, Water, Ammo etc.

Factories

There are two factories in the wasteland which I have labelled on the map for you. They are almost identical and have plenty of loot. Beware of the Zombie dogs though. There are also some cars outside both buildings along with trash piles and trashcans.

Both of the buildings have roof access, but I wouldnt advise standing on them, I fell through one of the roofs, broke my legs and then died lol. Same with the towers, there is a ladder on them but if you go slightly off then you will fall off the ladder and die so approach with caution 🙂

Garbage Dump

There is a Garbage Dump in the wasteland, its located at the bottom of the area. It is heavily guarded by Zombie Dogs so be careful. If you manage to stay alive then its a great place to loot as there are Cars and Oil Barrels. In the trashcans and dumpsters you will find plenty of scrap iron. There is roof access but again the roof is not very strong so watch your step

Campsite

Yep randomly enough i managed to find a Campsite in the wasteland. Who in their right mind would want to camp in a place like that is beyond me. But anyway, the camp has a car and a few tents to loot along with a cooler and a backpack or two.

So there you have it. Hope this guide is helpful to you and feel free to ask me to add anything that I have forgotten of adjust anything that isnt right. Next time I will cover the green areas of the map 🙂 Thanks for reading

Grassland Biome

So after reading the Dev Blog for 7 Days To Die I realised that they had added a new biome. Well its not really new they’ve just changed it abit and given it a new name, Grassland.

Here is the map with Points Of Interest that i have labelled for you

The Grassland biome doesnt have many trees, its mainly just grass.
You may find a few Goldenrod Flowers and some Cotton Plants. There are also Resource Rocks which you can break with a Pickaxe and gather Stones, Potassium Nitrate, Coal and Iron Fragments.

The Grassland biome is located in the top left corner of the Navezgane map and is home to lots of large buildings including a Police Station, School, Military Base and Shops. Its a good place to go if you want to find some good Ammo as this area has 2 Munitions Boxes that I know of. One in the Police Station and one in the Military Base.

The Muntions Boxes sometimes contain Rare gun parts for Sniper Rifles, SMG and also RPG as well as Ammo, so worth exploring.

I labelled the buildings on the map for you to find.

Military Base

The military base is surrounded by Landmines that you can pick up and use on your base. There is one Muntions box inside one of the tents too. You can also collect sandbags, food, barbed wire fencing etc. There is a lot of loot, but it wouldnt be a very good place to spend the night,

Police Station

This building is one of my favourite POI in the game and It is a really good place to fortify and turn into your home. Although remember if you take over one of the prebuilt buildings expect Zombies to spawn inside when you log back on. We turned the police station into our base and it held up pretty well against the Superhorde but unfortuately the Zeds would spawn inside and when we logged back on and we eventually made our own bases elsewhere built it makes a good starter home.
Inside the police station there is a Munitions Box, Gun Safe, Desk Safe and a large kitchen where you can find food. There is loads of loot here also including File Cabinets, Lockers and coolers. There is a room upstairs that has lots of cardboard boxes inside too. The Roof of the builing is quite weak to if you are going to go onto the roof make sure you reinforce it first othewise you will fall through it.

Campsite

There is one campsite in this biome, it has one car and a couple of tents to loot with the usual stuff backpacks etc.

UPDATE: there are actually two campsites in this biome the other one is on the same road as the school, top right hand side of the biome. If you look closely on the map its a tiny square, thats where it is. When i put Navezgane together i will label the bits i have missed,

School

The largest building in this biome by far is the School. This building has serveral rooms to loot as well as rows of Lockers, offices with File Cabinets and Desks. It is enormous but also swarming with zombies. When we loot this building on our multiplayer server we usually go in a group as it would be unlikely that you would be able to cover the whole building in one go if you were alone. There is roof access and again I have stayed on the roof overnight. Its pretty safe, just watch out for those Hornets.

Houses/Shops

There are three small areas of civilisation in this area located along side the road. Mostly shops though, all with kitchens and there is one house that has a garage and a Blueberry farm. I have labelled them on the map. One is located on Rainer Blvd, One on the Coranado Road. I took some screenshots of these areas. Some have roof access.

Hope this little guide helps you. If it does then leave a comment. If i have missed anything then please also let me know 🙂 Happy Zombie hunting

Pine Forest Biomes- (Dark Green On Map)

With my guide to Navezgane Biomes almost finished, I will talk about the Pine Forest Biomes. There are two of these biomes in Navezgane. Not sure if this is the correct name for them but they are not to be confused with the Maple Forest Biome. This difference between these are the trees and the seeds they drop, one drops Maple Seeds the other Pine seeds. More on that later.

The Pine Forest areas are Dark green on the map and there is another biome in between so I have covered this biome in two sections. But first of all I will show you the natural resources that you can find in the biome, because this is the same for both sections and by learning what resources you can find in each section of the map you will be able to plan your scavanging missions better.

Natural Resources

Pine Trees

When cutting down trees in the Pine Forest witheither your Stone Axe, Fire Axe or Chainsaw you will recieve Wood Logs and Pine Seeds. Wood can be found in any area of the world, and used for Building, Cooking, Traps, Weapons etc. You can Plant the Pine Seed and a new Pine Tree will grow.

Goldenrod Flowers

There are plenty of these flowers in this biome, more than any other biome. These can be picked up and turned into Goldenrod Tea using Boiled Water, Cooking Pot on the Campfire. Goldenrod Tea cures Dysentary

Cotton Flowers

In Alpha 9 the white flowers that were dotted around in this biome were changed to Cotton Flowers. You can pick these flowers and make Cotton with them. You will need to fine some of these plants at least 12 to craft a Sleeping bag when you first start the game. You can also farm these flowers by planting the cotton seeds.

Resource Rocks

These can be smashed using a Stone Axe or Pickaxe and will give you Stones, Coal, Potassium Nitrate and Iron Fragments.

Ok now to show you the first section of the Pine Forest Map complete with POI. This section covers the area around Spillway Lake

Now for the POI in this area which I ahve marked on the map

Rangers Stations

There are two Rangers stations in this biome, one is by Spillway Lake the other is on its own by a crossroads.

Rangers Station Spillway

Rangers Sation By Crossroad

Both of these are identical and both have a Gunsafe

The Gunsafe in these buildings are behind a barred wall but you can access them by either breaking the wall beside them or breaking the floor above them.
Both Rangers stations have kitchens with food and roof access. I have stayed in these buildings overnight and they do make a safe starter base, just remeber to take out the stairs so that the zombies cant get to you and stay on the upper floor.

Campsite

There is one medium sized campsite which i have labelled on the map. Here you can find a Cooking Pot, some Sleeping Bags, and the usual campsite loot, food etc.

Log Cabins

There are 3 log cabins of different sizes that sit on the edge of Spillway Lake. The larger one of the three has a Gunsafe. I have marked it with a star on the map. All of these cabins have a campfire and small kitchen with food.

Farm House

There is a Small farm along the road behind the log cabins at Spillway Lake. The Farmhouse is on one side of the road with the Farm opposite. There are no crops growing in the farm but you will find plenty of loot and the house has an Attic. Just be careful of the Zombie Dogs.

PINE FOREST MAP PART 2

Here is the second Pine forest Biome and Map with POI

The second part of the Pine Forrest is located next to the snow Biome. There are not many POI here, mainly Campsites but anyway I will talk you through what you can find here as you will travel through here to get to the Snow Biome.

Gas Stations

One of these is larger than the other one and are located at either end of the biome ( see map). Apart from being sturdy buildings to spend your first night, both buildings have Oil Barrels, cars outside to loot and roof access. They also both had Kitchens where you will find food and water.

Cabin

There is one log cabin located on its own by a small lake. In previous versions of the game this cabin was simply labelled Lake. Its just a plain old cabin similar to the ones found at Spillway Lake, with the same kind of loot and a campfire.

Campsites

There are four seperate campsite locations in this biome. Some are larger than others, but all have a campfire and combination of different campsite loot. Some of them have cars that you can also loot. One of the campsites has Zombie Dogs so be careful 🙂

And thats it for this biome. Hope you find this guide helpful. If you do then leave a comment 🙂 Will be back soon with the Maple Forest and Diersville. See you soon
