Who is the Warden?
If you have just picked up the standard game your first options for character classes will be the Vanguards. The Vangaurds are arguable the best characters to play.
“The vanguard is the leading part of an advancing military formation. It has a number of functions, including seeking out the enemy and securing ground in advance of the main force.”
This basically means the vangaurd is an all rounder which has been designed to put there foot on the throat of the enemies.
The warden is the vangaurd of the knights he is a sword wielding Crusader who will Bash you back into the stone age. When hes not out doing Dues Vult! he is destroying new players with his STEEP but exetremely short (and i mean really short) learning curve.
When playing against the warden he seems pretty Easy. But.. come closer.. you ready for this…. he’s terrifying.
The Warden abilities
His combos are as follow:
- Vanguards advance – M1 + M1 + M2
- Guardians assualt – M1 + M2
- Wardens wrath – M2 + M2

- crushing counterstrike – Complicated. (See complex combo guide)
- Shoulder bash – w,a,s, or d + Spacebar (dodge) + M3 (Middle mouse button

Each hero has there own unique attributes. the warden has 5 hero specific moves.

They have there own definitions

Luckily the warden only has one complicated move its called ‘crushing counter strike.’ Its not easy to do but its easy to understand. It is basically a parry but you press M1 instead BUT it can only be a parry from a specific angle. That angle being a downward attack (an up combat stance)
