A simple guide for lead and gold

The first and most important rule of lead and gold is stick together. That means close to your team mates. So many people run off solo and die straight away. In lead and gold this is not only pointless but also harmful to your team. They need you close for the buffs you give them, picking them up and especially for covering there back.

Always pick up team mates as a priority then shoot back. The revive is so fast that nine times out of ten you can get them up before your hit.

In almost all the game modes kills mean NOTHING. The objective is everything. Use your skill to get the job done.

In robbery games don’t take the first powder keg straight to the objective there are always a free yellow doors that can be blown. These have more kegs in but are closer to the objective. It’s also much harder for the defenders to guard multiple points. There are also doors that can be blown to give shorter routes back with the gold.

Get rid of the enemies flag before all else. It’s a mobile spawn point. Yes you can kill that guy but two more of his friends spawn right on top of you. Its much better to die getting the enemy flag. It’s also satisfying to see your gang rush the lone guy that killed you after.

If you get spawn camped work as a team. While the gang shoot back the flag carrier can sneak out hide behind the enemy gang and wait for the gang to spawn on him. Spawn camp broken.

Trappers don’t forget your traps they are vital for defence. They’re not to cover your backside while you snipe from afar. They are for trapping the gold and the routes the enemy take. Many a game has been saved last minute by a well-placed trap.

Depute your main role is support you should always mark first and shoot later. Generally you’re the best flag carrier and hang out at the back of the gang.

Miners are good for carrying the gold sacks. If friendly fire is on be careful not to drop dynamite on your team mates. You might want to hold it for a short fuse but if you go down you drop it in the middle of your gang.

There are a lot more advanced tactics to the game have fun learning them
