This is a guide to getting all the achievements in the game, “Hypnospace Outlaw.” Spoilers ahead.Please note that this guide currently only covers the base release of Hypnospace Outlaw (pre-Hypnospace Plus on August 27th 2020).

Achievements marked with an asterisk (*) can be missed if you proceed too fast through the story, so be careful!
Gooped
Enforce Gumshoe Gooper infringements during the Gumshoe Gooper Infringement (11.5.99) Case.
This should be relatively straightforward: there are several occurrences throughout AbbyWrites58’s page, namely her Sandy for Community Leader page, and all but one of the drawings in her 1st Grade Class tribute page, enough for a Flag.
An additional offence can be found in MTNestSandy’s humor page BWL.[/spoiler]
If you didn’t get the achievement, make sure to Close the Case.
Squished
Complete the SquisherZ Quest by finding all 10 hidden Squisherz.

Seeped
Enforce instances of ZANE_ROCKS_14’s harassment and flag him during the Teentopia Harassment (11.5.99) Case.
Make sure to report all instances of the harassment: that includes images (particularly those of “corey”) and text (if its on Zane’s page, if the text contains “corey” it’s best to report it). Report enough infractions to be able to Flag Zane.
If you didn’t get the achievement, make sure to Close the Case.
Brassed
Enforce instances of Corey AKA ThatBrassyKid’s harassment during the Teentopia Harassment (11.5.99) Case.
During the Teentopia Harassment case, you may notice on ThatBrassyKid’s page a Zane Sucks badge, and a page explaining the rationale for having it.
Report the badge on Corey’s main page, the text next to the badge, and everything on the badge’s page. including each scrolling text instance, then flag Corey.
If you want to be thorough, you can report additional cases on other Teentopia users that also sport the Zane Sucks badge (i.e.: Jennifer’s page).
Helped
Install Professor Helper.
While it is possible to avoid downloading Professor Helper in a normal playthrough, for the sake of this achievement, you have to install the blight. Once you get the achievement, you can safely uninstall him…if you can.
Cashed Out
Enforce instances Extralegal Commerce during the Capacash Extralegal Commerce (11.5.99) Case.
While reporting the entirety of Professor Helper help network of 4 should be sufficient for the case, you should also cover SHERRIHEALS’ page, which requires a HypnoCoin donation to receive a link to her private CapaCash page.
If you didn’t get the achievement, make sure to Close the Case.
Philanthroped*
Throughout the game, donate to various individuals in a timely fashion.
This achievement can be missed.
If you are also seeking to do “Found,” please read the field marked with a tilde (~).
You have to donate to three individuals throughout the game.
~The first instance occurs in the midst of the Shock Images Illegal Content (11.5.99) Case, in which deepin2thedeep will send you a very sketchy e-mail (“Hello Dear Sir or Madam, Please Help My Dream”) with a link pointing to a site dedicated to fund their submarine dream or other. He will ask for 200 HypnoCoin, which you should have accrued more than double the amount at this point if you’ve been thorough and showed some spending restraint. This must be done prior to testing Outlaw v0.85, otherwise the expedition will be called off entirely, which will also lock you out of doing “Found.” ~
The other two instances can be found in the midst of the Speed Booster Malicious Software (11.26.99) Case. Whether you found the Axxelerator program by yourself (in that case, click the ? at the top right of the Axxelerator window or any of the pop-ups that occur while using it) or solved the riddle of the Freelands, the Download page of Axxelerator should have two HypnoCoin Donation tabs for a meager 11 HC each. Donate to both of these people to complete the trio required for the achievement. Despite being disconnected from live Hypnospace, you can still donate in the Present Day.
Crashed
Test Outlaw v0.85.
This being a story-related achievement (unless you skipped), you will get this after downloading and testing Dylan’s abysmal offline test demo via an e-mail sent after completing the Shock Images Illegal Content (11.5.99) Case.
Good Car Game
Play Outlaw v0.94 or v0.99.
Any time between the aftermath of the Outlaw v0.85 beta and the result of the Music Downloads Infringement (11.26.99) Case, you can download v0.94 from the same page that Dylan linked to you in his previous e-mail.
Any time between your return to Active Duty and finishing a headache of a Y2000 MINDCRASH ATTACK (12.31.1999), you can download v0.99 from the same page.
Outlaw v0.94+ is another means of getting HypnoCoin, provided you don’t wish to do surveys or using illicit software like Janitor.

Close all 15 cases.
This achievement can be missed.
Please ensure you have completed all tasks before each asterisk indicated line. (*)
On 11.26.99, you are given a lot of leeway for Cases that you can pick up, a total of 7 in this era, though you can pass this by only finding 4 (2 to prompt the Speed Booster Malicious Software [11.26.99] Case, which is a prerequisite completion for the Music Downloads Infringement [11.26.99] Case to be assigned).
The cases for this section include:
- Music Downloads Infringement (11.26.99) Case
You will get this upon completion of the Speed Booster Malicious Software (11.26.99) Case. Complete all other cases below, and then report a certain someone’s private FLST uploads. While waiting for the results of your actions, you can Close the case in the meanwhile. - Speed Booster Malicious Software (11.26.99) Case
You will get this Case automatically after finding and completing 2 other Cases below. You can solve this by completing the Test in the Freelands, or otherwise obtaining Axxelerator via Roddy Wall’s FLST and opening the About page. Either way, report the Malicious Software on the download page. Don’t forget to close the case. - Teentopia Harassment (11.26.99) Case
Visiting DarkTwilightTiff’s main page greets you with a gigantic “DEAR HSPD ENFORCERS: PLEASE LOOK…” link that can otherwise be crawled by searching for its related terms. Report the last image of ThatBrassyKid’s chat logs, and the bottom 2 of ZANE_ROCKS_14’s chat logs.While you can potentially flag DarkTwilightTiff for these transgressions, you don’t necessarily have to, and can Close the case after merely reporting the logs. Savvy players may think a flag can help, but alas, it isn’t enough.
- Gumshoe Gooper Infringement (11.26.99) Case
The majority of Goodtime Valley’s active users’ pages, save for the corporate accounts, Hypnospace Heaven, the Community Leader, Sandy, and Terry, will have several instances of Gumshoe Gooper plastered on their page, with several already pre-removed from other HSPD Enforcers. Report Content Infringement as you romp through, flag any offenders, and close the case.Flagging BurnRubber50 during this stage will save his life during the Y2000 Mind Crash event. While you can flag him for outstanding violation points during 12.31.99, no punishment will be implemented in time.
- Capacash Extralegal Commerce (11.26.99) Case
(Re)visit Sherri’s Consultation Price page (via using the previous e-mail sent to you or cracking the difficult password (“AsburyHealing1937”, casing optional)) and re-enforce the Extralegal violations on the page, enough to (re)flag her. If this is her second offence, this will permanently ban her from Hypnospace. (The first offence happens during the CapaCash Extralegal Commerce (11.5.99) case.)Depending on whether or not Sherri ends up banned, you can change the “sweet” tribute label from ParkerStudios_1’s chambers.
- Coolfest Harassment (11.26.99) Case
After the events of Coolfest ’99, CPColdSnap more overtly hints at real Coolpunk and “fake” Coolpunk. By searching for “fake,” you can find CPColdSnap2’s unlisted page, containing several Harassment-level statements over a harassment-tier song. Report as many of those text violations (including the album art) and flag.
While you can find this page on 11.5.99 and fully report/flag for it, nothing will come of the flagging, and the stuff reported the first time will reappear. - Janitor Malicious Software (11.26.99) Case
A tip-off from JasWilsonLopez2’s most recent software review can point you to search for “janitor” for a program that promises endless HypnoCoins for menial tasks. Report the Malicious Software download link though feel free to download and use it.
*Failing to fully complete the above prior to the result of reporting the Music Download Infringements going in full swing will lock you out of the achievement. Please verify you have 11 total Cases before reporting the Music Download Infringements.*
During the 12.31.99 Teentopia attack, you may notice a subtle tweak to ZANE_ROCKS_14’s page. Revisiting his Got Game or Way Lame page will explain the reasoning for him being targeted. Subsequently reporting the relevant content on the latest episode of “Got Game or Way Lame” for Harassment will open yet another Teentopia Harassment (12.31.99) Case, of which you can potentially flag ZANE_ROCKS_14, which can result in a permanent ban for Zane. Close the case once done.
Flagging ZANE_ROCKS_14 during this stage after doing so previously will save his life during the Y2000 Mind Crash event.
Another easily missed detail prior to stopping the crash is forgetting to peg the Mindcrash Scary Stuff button as Malicious Software. Be sure to lay the hammer on the Scary Stuff button before or shortly after pressing it.
*Failing to fully complete the above prior to stopping the Y2000 Mindcrash event (and experiencing Outlaw’s update in full) will lock you out of the achievement. Please verify you have 13 total Cases with evidence for each one before completing the Mindcrash event by clicking the button.*
During Years Later, be sure to complete and close Sam’s additional requests for a total of 15 Cases before running Outlaw v1.0.
Found*
Find all 5 items on the HAP Lost & Found checklist.
This achievement can be missed.
It is required to do the first bit of, “Philanthroped,” (donating 200 HC for the submarine expedition) in order to get this Achievement. Failing to do so will lock it out of that particular file.
You have to check off all five of the Lost & Found objectives in the Hypnospace Archival Project. Note that the fifth objective is only accessible if you fund deepin2thedeep’s expedition on 11.5.99.
LAF 001: The lost Chowder Man song can be found within Chowder Man’s FLST (00088d) starting from 11.26.99.
LAF 002: Access to the lost Kevv_J demos can be found by searching for “flipflop” or via Freelands 4D on 11.5.99 (below the other guy with several citations for placing gifs everywhere).
LAF 003: Roddy’s lost testpet can be found on his FLST (00021d) on 11.5.99.
LAF 004: By connecting the pieces:
- Adrian was involved in the weird eye cult, according to the LAF listing
- one of the Open Eyed users noting Horus conspiracies
- T1MAGEDDON’s P4ssword F3ast listing Adrian’s name roughly around the same time a Merchantsoft e-mail PSA about password breaches went out
- Adrian not being tech savvy
we can piece it all together by: searching “horus” and logging in with Adrian’s password: falcon123. Any archival date for the CoH standings suffices for fulfilling the found criteria.
LAF 005: As mentioned above, you have to donate to deepin2thesea’s expedition on 11.5.99. Afterwards, just revisit his hyperlinked page received in your e-mail once again on 12.31.99 to clear this objective.
Haxed
“Donate” a negative amount to the Hax Godz via HypnoS_Dreamtoolz.
Self explanatory: find, install, and run Dreamtoolz.
HypnoS_Dreamtoolz can be found on re3koning_inc’s personal island on the Freelands, Freelands 5F, which can be accessed from Freelands 5E by using the AllSeeing3y3 at the bottom of the water to click on the Charon-like ferryman. Note that you will need Safe Mode from HypnoCure Pro if you are browsing the island during 12.31.99 to download Dreamtoolz.
AllSeeing3y3 can be gained from various individuals’ FLIST pages, namely T1MAGEDDON, Roddy Wall, and, during 12.31.99, GearHeadGregg.
Once downloaded, on the “Debugz” tab, at the top right of the page, select “Donate,” delete the default 10 and type in a negative value to receive free HypnoCoins, at the admonishment of the tool’s author.
This is also a handy tool to get a specific number of HypnoCoins. Like “69” or “420.”
Let Down
Play and complete Outlaw v1.0.
Upon completion of the final two cases, Dylan should send you a link to the finished version of Outlaw. Download, install, run, and complete the game by apprehending the Hypnospace Outlaw ®™©.
Thanked
Complete the Hypnospace Archival Project and be properly thanked.
This requires browsing every single (canon) page on Hypnospace and archiving every possible version across all three timespans. Yeah, good luck with that.
You do not have to browse any bonus pages (example: “bees” or “discord”). It is fine to use a file that didn’t pay for deepin2thedeep’s expedition, so long as you crawl all dated instances of that donation page.
Once you complete the HAP, you will receive the Everything Search (searches pages’ text instead of just the tags) and a special file (“thanks”) that, upon running, shows a few “developer rooms” and beta content.
If you completed the HAP and still did not receive the achievement, browse all the special developer pages from the “thanks” file (you don’t have to stick around for the optical illusion) then reopen the Hypnospace Archival Project program.
