An achievement guide explaining how to earn every achievement in Journal.
1. Window Shopping
Complete Day 1.
2. School Trip
Complete Day 2.
3. Snow Day
Complete Day 3.
4. Angel Delight
Complete Day 4.
5. Goodbye
Complete Day 5.
6. Beret Lover
You have to complete the game once to be able to do this achievement.
Note: Everything has to be done during Day 2 if you move on to Day 3 without getting the key from John and opening the classroom and the TV you can’t unlock this achievement in that save anymore.
Start a new game and finish Day 1.
After starting Day 2 go to school and talk to Trevor.
Trevor will tell you to talk to Anne.
Anne will tell you to talk to John who will give you the key to Classroom 3.
Unlock the door to Classroom 3 and walk to the TV.
Start the TV and you’ll unlock the achievement.
7. Community Outreach
Talk with the homeless person on Day 3 and Day 4, also remember to be curious of why he became the way he did or else he’ll dislike you and won’t open up to you.
8. Settled Accounts
This one is a bit trickier than the rest, but still fairly easy to unlock.
First start off by accusing Elena of the broken window, when she claims innocence tell her she did it. It seems that the topic called “Elena” is the one that unlocks this achievement. On Day 3 choose ‘Apathetic’ instead of ‘Thankful’ choice, after that it should be pretty smooth sailing just stay bitter and be a d*ck to her, and on Day 4 when you talk to her about the “Elena” topic, she will tell you how selfish you are etc. Just choose “Acceptance” and you two are done and the achievement will unlock.
A few users pointed out that you need to be nice to her, try to be as reasonable as possible with her and it should unlock.
9. Credit where Credit’s Due
Just press ESC to open menu in game and open ‘Credits’.
10. Weirdly Patient
Simple, just idle in the main menu and it will unlock after a while.
I’m pretty sure it unlocks after like 15 minutes of idling.
