Overview

This guide will help with getting the achievements for Maneater!

Introduction

There are 44 achievements for this game.

It’s not possible to 100% this game at the time.
Currently, 12 achievements are unobtainable, & are suspected to be locked for upcoming content.

There isn’t a co-op/multiplayer mode, so everything’s obtained from a solo playthrough.

Story Achievements

These are obtained by completing Story Objectives.

Complete the tutorial

Shark Achievements

Experience points are gained by consuming things, & by completing objectives (Story, Hunts, Terrorizes, Nutrient Caches, etc).

Evolutions are acquired by completing Story Objectives, defeating Apex Predators, increasing the Infamy Rank, & locating every Landmark. There are 26 total Evolutions.

Growing Up
Reach Teen Growth

– Reach level 4.

On Your Own
Reached Adult Growth

– Reach level 10.

Wiser
Reached Elder Growth

– Reach level 20.

Ocean Terror
Reached Mega Growth

– Reach level 30.

Adaptation
Evolve for the first time

New Breed
Acquire 50% of available evolutions

Science Experiment
Acquire 100% of available evolutions

Collectible Achievements

These achievements are obtained by completing all Story Objectives, Terrorizes, Hunts, Collectibles, Nutrient Caches, & Landmarks in each area.

Apex Predator Achievements

Apex Predators will spawn after completing all Story Objectives in an area.
Defeating all of them is necessary to get all Evolutions.

The New Apex Predator
Destroy all Apex Predators

Infamy Achievements

Infamy points are gained by destroying Hunters & their boats.

Consuming humans increases the threat level needed to summon Hunters. When an Infamy Rank is maxed, a Bounty Hunter will appear. Defeating all of them is necessary to get all Evolutions.

Rank & points won’t decrease if you die, or if Hunters loose track of you. Infamy points are easier to obtain by continuing to new areas instead of trying to grind it out in starter areas.
