Overview
This guide covers some things to consider while playing in order to score all of the achievements, without any spoilers.
Achievement and Gameplay Help.
Some pointers that would be useful for players attaining 100% completion.
- There is no time limit to attain all the achivements and find all the collectables.
- While paying the game, your iCoffin will show currently available quests/objectives. Complete all of these before you go home to ensure you get full completion.
- When you finish the game, and you will know when this is, you will continue to be able to attend Monster High day-to-day. That means you will take the bus to school, attend class twice, then go home. This means you can decide to hunt for the collectables, collect coins, and buy clothes before or after you finish the game.
- There are two achievements: for buying one item of clothing, and for buying all items of clothing. Clothing will go on special whenever the store refreshes. Whenever this happens, always buy the clothes on special. That way, while you have all game to buy clothes, you spend as little as possible while still saving to get the 1000 coin achievement. Therefore, I suggest waiting until you reach 1000 coins before buying the expensive clothes.
- Every night, go to your wardrobe and open the menu to change clothes. Then, regardless of whether you actually change clothes or just hit the tick button to leave, you now have the option of tidying up your room, which will provide a coin bonus. Making your bed in the morning before you leave each day will also net you bonus money, which goes a long way.
- While searching for locker codes on walls, banners, and the bugs, remember to search in bushes also. There are at least two in such places, including one out the front of the school, and one hidden in the quadrangle.
- While of no gameplay concern, a heads up: when you need to give a name to a character, keep in mind that that character is a female.
