Overview
Tired of people copy-pasting the description of cheevos and calling it a day? Here’s your daily dose of AFK grinding, as if it ain’t common for an achievement completionist.
why
When it comes to games like these, it is rather common for devs to spice things up with some achievements in to slowly make up for a reason for you to actually keep playing.
As if it ain’t obvious, most of the playerbase is divided by players who just join in for fun or play while waiting for some game to load, and by tryhards that will give on hours of their lives to improve at a task that they could more easily and far more enjoyably do by just playing the game they’re trying to get better on.
…Or they are proleague enthusiasts or actual esports stars that need special and intensive training to practice, but I doubt they would use this aiming simulator. That’s not to say, the app is actually very well built and very informative when you remember it’s free (and in very early alpha).
So, as you have already noticed at the beginning, we both know that we took the bait. But hey! Not all baits are bad, but neither are they easy… In which case I’m sure you won’t be turning a blind eye on some easy cheevos aren’t ya?
That’s when you search up a guide only to be left with more than 3 informative clusters that are all but a guide when it comes to being actually helpful.
That’s when this guide comes in useful.
how
Now, what are the achievements in this game? They are all grind-related, except for two but you should already have noticed that they are time limited achievements, a sight that all completionists have a sheer fear of, but also they are all obtainable right now, and it’s for free.
But, I doubt any not-so-competitive person, or anyone that values their decent aiming skills, would devote themselves to play more than 1 hour for each of the 14 modes. That’s why I made it an AFK task. Like society always does… jk
So, without further ado, let’s jump right into it:
Start by creating a playlist right in the menu screen.
⠀
⠀
Now you’ll have to select a few modes that are required in order for the achievements to pop up:
In the Flicking tab, select:
- Spidershot
- Microshot
- Reflexshot
⠀
⠀
In the Tracking tab, select:
- Strafetrack
- Strafeshot
- Circletrack
⠀
⠀
Also in the Tracking tab, but further down, select:
- Ninjashot
- Blinkshot
- Freetrack
⠀
⠀
In the Cognition tab, select:
- Decisionshot
- Capacity
⠀
⠀
In the Perception tab, select:
- Audiospatial
⠀
⠀
And in the Sandbox Misc tab, select:
- Pentakill
⠀
⠀
Now it’s time to wrap up. Give your artwork a name. Something you’d be proud of. Something that makes you want to wake up. Your deepest, utmost loved desire.
Then save your beautiful thing.
⠀
⠀
Now this is the reason I had you make the playlist yourself. I could have just given you a workshop playlist and put it on loop. But the thing is, I can’t figure out how to put a downloaded playlist on loop. And I’m starting to think it isn’t possible and they will fix it soon. But, you have already done it, so I don’t want any complains.
Head up to the Saved playlists tab and select your playlist. Make sure you have the Loop option activated (mint color means active)
⠀
⠀
⠀
I suggest using Auto Key Clicker[sourceforge.net] for it’s simplicity (but keep in mind, if you’re using it for something else, it may not press Enter or Space, in which case I suggest using Auto Key Presser[sourceforge.net], but it doesn’t allow for mouse usage so pick on your own).
Now open your preferred macro and type two inputs: a Mouse Click and the T Key (delay doesn’t matter that much but don’t just put something stupid).
⠀
⠀
Now just go back to Aim Lab, start your playlist, and activate your macro…
and
Congratulations! You have just started grinding. But, in true AFK fashion, you have to be Away From your Keyboard to let the macro focus on Aim Lab.
So… how long‘s this gonna take? I’ve done the maths and we uhhh…
We’re here for a long time. But that doesn’t mean we can’t get the most out of it.
Indeed, there are 14 modes that give achievements. But also Detection mode can’t be timed equally with all the others without making you waste more than 10 hours. So I’ll let you decide what to do with it.
You can play a playlist on loop only with Detection and time your macro accordingly. Or, you can play 100 minutes of a calm, forgiving, and funny gamemode. Is it really training if it doesn’t even need you to hit the target? Probably not. But what matters is, that you make the rules here. You decide if you want to be spining like a god while 360ºing targets and thinking “yea I hit that”. Or aimbotting while swinging your mouse around the target and thinking that you really are doing it yourself. Because you are. You have the control here.
And when you remember happiness and wanting get better are two of the most valuated feelings in FPS, I can assure that you’ll somehow get better when enjoying yourself in the process. Like playing Detection… Or actually playing the game you’d like to play and enjoy.
So keep this as a lesson: The easiest way to accomplish something is by trying and failing, but when happiness overcomes the inevitable fail, that’s when you’ll hit peak performance. So keep being happy. Watch the things you love. Make the things you love. Play the things you love. And rest assured, that you’ll prosper happily. But don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise! Because, it’s your world.
And only you, have the control.

And as always,
Thank you, for reading this guide,
