Celebrate the Christmas season with this collection of wintery adventures. Completed as a community project, this merry bundle is a gift for all to enjoy.
I. Opening
Welcome to the Advent Calendar. Within this guide you will find an assortment of adventures dedicated to the greatest of holidays, Christmas. Each adventure corresponds to a different day in December leading up to Christmas day. The number for each adventure’s day appears in both the adventure’s name and layout. Use these numbers to arrange the adventures in order on your map.
The Advent Calendar was initiated by Tfark as a community project. A group of players came together to volunteer their time and effort in creating the adventures that were needed to construct an Advent calendar. Each of these adventures is presented in full detail within this guide.
II. Dedication
Thank you for using this guide. It is dedicated to everyone who loves Christmas. So, the next time you find yourself looking out the window at the snow, think of all the adventures waiting to be had right here. Each one brings us a little closer to the most perfect time of the year.
III. December 1-7
Goal: Where did all the creators of the Advent Calendar 2015 go? Let’s find them! Were the good hiding places already taken, Tfark? Then maybe you can help me look.

🎄 Features: Army of Svens, Hall of creators, Hide-and-seek
Goal: Stop the Krampus from kidnapping children from a nearby town once and for all. Just what has the Krampus been cooking in here? Smells awful. Wait, is that…
🎄 Quote: “Huhuhu, what’s this? Saving me the trouble of hunting you?”
🎄 Setting: Ice castle
🎄 Features: Hall of armor, Krampus, Optional areas
Goal: Rescue the tin soldier and his love from a cruel fate. Just how well versed in magic could a bunch of rats possibly be? They don’t seem too bright.
🎄 Quote: “Down with humans and their toys!”

🎄 Features: Living toys, Magical rats, Treasure vault
Goal: Am I the only hero that signed up for this tournament? All of the other competitors look a little shady. Hey, an outdoor market! I wonder if they sell souvenirs.
🎄 Quote: “I have taken Santa hostage! He has been put to sleep, so to say….MUHAHAHAHA!”
🎄 Setting: Town of Stratia
🎄 Features: Ice witch, Multiple arenas, Santa
Goal: Help a mysterious stranger bring back the Christmas spirit to a gloomy town. Okay, you two! Let’s settle this right now. I’ll just remove the mushrooms. Problem solved.
🎄 Quote: “Let us play a game. By the end of it, you will understand the meaning of life.”

🎄 Features: Rescue missions, Terrain transformation, The Grinch
Goal: Deliver a barrel of fruit to an orphanage over a perilous road. Don’t mind me, trolls! I’m just a friendly delivery man passing through. You can go back to arguing.
🎄 Quote: “That exit…it’s taunting me…”
🎄 Setting: Orphanage
🎄 Features: Christmas spirits, Ebenezer Scrooge, Trolls who troll
Goal: Restore peace after throwing the world into chaos from one little mistake. What’s that, mum? Yes, I already helped dad shovel the snow. Time for a treat!
🎄 Quote: “Oh, if you could see that…but you can’t! You are grounded! Bye!”

🎄 Features: Apocalypse, Carol puzzle, Getting grounded
IV. December 8-14
Goal: Put a stop to the strange happenings at Sanick Lass’s estate. Maybe the elves went on strike and the orcs were the only ones who would fill in? I’ll just have to ask Sanick about it.

🎄 Setting: Estate of Sanick Lass
🎄 Features: Brainwashed elves, Exploding barrels, Trickster spirit
Goal: Defeat the goblin shaman Gixik and his minions to return the goods stolen from a certain merchant. Bronzo, look! There goes a reindeer! Phew…I think he’s gone for good now.

🎄 Setting: Valley of Doom
🎄 Features: Bronzo the brainless, Magic seals, Treasure vault
Goal: Come to the rescue of a family trapped within the caves of the abominable snowman. So, what is this yeti planning anyway? Does he want to slay tresspassers? Or, is he just hungry?
🎄 Quote: “Be careful…he might be out there.”
🎄 Setting: Yeti caves
🎄 Features: Abominable snowman, Rescue missions, Spelunking
Goal: End Evil Santa’s plot to take over and send everyone coal for Christmas. Ok, listen up everyone! Move in an orderly fashion to the exit, please. Hey…wait for me!
🎄 Quote: “But do you recall…the most objectively evil reindeer of all?”
🎄 Setting: Coal mine
🎄 Features: Captured elves, Demolition sequence, Evil reindeer
Goal: Track down the duke’s stolen present to keep Christmas merry for all. You know, there is a waterway here in the city. Someone could make a fortune charging for Christmas boat rides!
🎄 Quote: “…Maybe I shouldn’t be sweeping the snow until after it stops snowing…”
🎄 Setting: Snowy city
🎄 Features: Investigation, Rooftop platforming, Street vendors
Goal: Discover why the nature spirits are restless and set things right. How much is a crystal worth anyway? They might look pretty good as Christmas tree ornaments. I’ll just take a few.

Goal: Come to Santa’s rescue since he seems to be having a little trouble with the elves this year. How did you manage to escape anyway, Mrs. Claus? You must be one tough old lady.

🎄 Features: Chestnuts Easter egg, Lots of Christmas characters, Monstrous elves
V. December 15-21
Goal: Stop Father Frost by going for the source of his power…magical Christmas cookies! There’s an evil Christmas spirit? This is unheard of! Does it deliver the coal to the naughty?

🎄 Setting: Father Frost’s domain
🎄 Features: Chimney climbing, Evil Christmas spirit, Sleeping minions
Goal: Choose to participate in a date auction for charity or rescue the confection kingdom from impending doom. Keep your eyes on the catwalk, ladies! Here comes Santa! Ho ho ho.
🎄 Quote: “While tots are unwrapping toys, maybe you’d be unwrapping…”
🎄 Setting: Auction house / Confection kingdom
🎄 Features: Mistletoe, Sugar overload, Two adventures in one
Goal: Rescue an oppressed village by obtaining ill-gotten wealth on behalf of an orphanage. What kind of person would destroy a donations box? Someone made the naughty list for sure!
🎄 Quote: “Who dares trespass on my domain?”
🎄 Setting: Poor village
🎄 Features: Dark magic, Legendary outlaw, Tax collectors
Goal: Fight your way to the top in the arena to become champion of the winter games. You can stop singing now, Santa. Really! Just sit down and have a cup of cocoa.
🎄 Quote: “On the first day of Christmas, Santa gave to me…”
🎄 Setting: Winter arena
🎄 Features: Twelve Days of Christmas, Krampus, Rat master
Goal: Rescue Santa by travelling from one dimension to another in search of his abductor. Wait a minute. Santa’s kidnappers aren’t on the naughty list? I’m guessing they will be soon!
🎄 Quote: “Do not pet or make fun of Rudolph.”
🎄 Setting: Christmas Town
🎄 Features: Dimensional travel, Pumpkin King, Satan’s workshop
Goal: Take part in a famous poem and help Sam McGee reach his final destination. We’ll be there soon, Sam. Don’t worry! Here’s a little song I prepared to help the time go by faster…

🎄 Features: Derelict barge, Interactive poem, Paul Bunyan
Goal: Return the presents stolen by orcs an behalf of your village in order to save Christmas. I suppose orcs never make it onto the nice list. That must be why they needed the presents!

VI. December 22-24
Goal: Track down a sorceror calling himself the Christmas Slayer to bring peace to a village. I hope King Haldir will let me stay for a while once I’m done. This castle is festive!

🎄 Features: Ancient obelisk, Christmas castle, Exploding grain
Goal: Help Dom the Bomb fix his mistake by finding new ornaments for the Christmas tree. Whoa. This Christmas tree is so big, you’d need a castle to house it. Let’s all join hands and sing!

🎄 Setting: Dom’s home
🎄 Features: Christmas carolling, Giant Christmas tree, Linda the Good
Goal: Head to the town of Everwinter to take part in a Christmas celebtration to call Santa down from the sky. You guys just keep singing! I’ll be right over here fighting for peace on earth.

VII. Bonus Adventures
If you’re looking for more seasonal adventures, try these out. They may not be an official part of the Advent Calendar, but they look just as good sitting under the tree. Why not make them a part of your Christmas also? The more the merrier!
Goal: Deliver cakes on behalf of an innkeeper to travelers caught in a blizzard. I wonder if the travelers will notice a slice missing. All this work does make a hero hungry!

🎄 Features: Enormous inn, Hungry travelers, Thieves’ hideout
Goal: Stop brigands from taking over the North Pole while Santa is away. You elves should consider training or hiring bodyguards. Maybe polar bears and penguins?
🎄 Quote: “The Christmas star above shines brightly.”
🎄 Setting: North Pole
🎄 Features: Black Peter, Isle of frost, Santa’s workshop
Goal: Pass Santa’s three trials to win presents to share with the townsfolk. Let’s make a deal, you two. You give me potions. I’ll give you loot. Does that sound fair?
🎄 Quote: “May the Lords of Magick bade you good fortune in this joyous season.”
🎄 Setting: Christmas Island
🎄 Features: Archmage Santa, Distressed townsfolk, Elemental battles
Goal: Defeat the monster horde planning to crash a New Year’s celebration. I wonder if that lady back at the guild could give me a grappling hook? These mountains are rough!
🎄 Quote: “Um, go for the win! Hit ’em hard!”
🎄 Setting: New Year’s End
🎄 Features: Celebration gathering, Guildmaster Pam, Hiking
Goal: Free Santa from the clutches of an ice witch with help from a party of comical but determined heroes. Wait, THOTAS! I need you to use your powers to get me out of this castle!
🎄 Quote: “…Now I’m fueled with burning anger!”
🎄 Setting: Mountain castle
🎄 Features: North Pole lore, Rescue party, Warping of time and space
Goal: Turn back time using a special crystal to restore peace to the North Pole. Is that really you, Mrs. Claus? But you look so thin. Wait! What are you doing?
🎄 Quote: “Do it for the children! Or at least for the treasure within Santa’s home.”
🎄 Setting: North Pole
🎄 Features: Mrs. Claus, North Pole station, Santa’s house
Goal: Help three kings restore peace to their lands. You think that star up there could be a bad omen? Really? I don’t know. It looks kind of pretty actually.
🎄 Quote: “My theory is that the star is actually a vessel full of little men.”
🎄 Setting: Magi kingdoms
🎄 Features: Inn of the Magi, Key summoning, Three wise men
Goal: Make your way down a snowy road to deliver goods to a nearby town. Lugging these barrels everywhere is tiring. And my fingers are numb! I wish I had a wagon.
🎄 Quote: “There you are! We’ve been expecting you for hours.”

🎄 Features: Bandit camp, Fortified town, Healing monastery
VIII. Closing
At the end of any adventure lies a treasure greater than a chestful of loot. It is the memory of the adventure itself, of course. May your Christmas be filled with the warmest of memories. And best wishes for the adventures that still lie ahead.
