The Water Void is open ocean, and the outer extension of the World Edge. Three Void Chelicerate Leviathans inhabit the area. They behave similarly to the three Adult Ghost Leviathans found in the Crater Edge, in which one spawns every 30 seconds once the player enters the biome. The Void Chelicerates will pursue the player for as long as they remain in the Water Void and World Edge. Once the player leaves the biome, the leviathans will abandon their chase. Depth Range: 0 – 8192 meters When the player exceeds 8192 meters in any given direction relative to the origin of the world, they will be teleported back to the Shallow Twisty Bridges.

The Triops is a small and edible fish.
● Koppa Mining Site ● Deep Lilypads Cave ● Deep Twisty Bridges ● Tree Spires
The trivalve is very passive and playful towards the player, it can also interact with the player. Its Behavior is similar to the Cuddlefish from Subnautica.
The Rockgrub swims rather quickly within its vicinity, seemingly scavenging whatever it could find. They are most visible in darker areas such as caves. Rockgrubs can be picked up, it used as bait for Rock Punchers to which they are prey.
● Crystal Caves ● East Arctic ● Fabricator Caverns ● Koppa Mining Site ● West Arctic
Glow Whales move very slowly in large, open ocean with other Glow Whales. They can be seen doing deep dives with other whales, as well as periodically breaching the surface. They are often seen performing large gulps to consume Shoals of Fish. The player can interact with Glow Whales by riding on its back or petting it near the eye.
● East Arctic ● Lilypad Islands
The adult Ventgardens are only seen stationary over Hydrothermal Vents with their tentacles anchoring them in place. It stays over the vent, allowing hot water enriched with nutrients to flow into the bell through an opening in the bottom of the body. When sitting over a Hydrothermal Vent, an opening on the underside of the body is opened and the player can swim inside the body through this opening.
● Tree Spires
Juvenile Ventgardens are free-swimming rather than anchored in one location. They can be found drifting around the Tree Spires in small groups.
● Tree Spires
The Snow Stalker Baby is passive towards the player, unlike the highly aggressive adults. They can be interacted with, though will snap at the player partway through the animation but deal no damage. After interaction, It they will get angry with the player. This also results in it attracting adult snow stalkers nearby. The Snow Stalker Baby can be fed by Nutrient Block, Preston’s Plant and fishes.
● Glacial Basin
Pinnacarids spend a majority of their activity underwater, hunting smaller fish. They can be seen attacking nearby herbivores, but remain friendly toward the player. Additionally, Pinnacarids have the ability to traverse between land and water, a behavior observable within either Arctic region.
● Arctic Kelp Forest ● East Arctic ● West Arctic
Penglings spend about half their time above water and the other half underwater. Penglings that cannot see an adult will start to emit loud, regular cries.
● Arctic Kelp Forest ● Shallow Twisty Bridges ● Glacial Basin ● East Arctic ● West Arctic
All Defensive Creatures
Pengwings spend about half their time above water and the other half underwater. When above water, they stay on ice floats or other land areas with a large group of other Penglings and Pengwings and waddle around, occasionally stopping to stretch their wings and back. Pengwings can be seen diving headfirst into the water, at which point they will swim around hunting for food. Pengwings can be observed attacking and killing smaller fish while swimming. Pengwings are defensive and will only attack the player if they pick up or attack a Pengling, or attack another Pengwing.
● Arctic Kelp Forest ● Delta Island ● East Arctic ● Glacial Basin ● Shallow Twisty Bridges ● Sparse Arctic ● West Arctic
The Crashfish lives in a symbiotic relationship with a flora species named the Sulfur Plant. Upon sensing the player’s presence, the Sulfur Plant opens up like a flower and emits a menacing gurgle, revealing the Crashfish inside. If the player approaches further after the Crashfish’s initial warning, the Crashfish will launch itself out of the Sulfur Plant and charge at the player. If the player instead heeds the warning and backs off, the Crashfish will retreat back into the Sulfur Plant.
● Crystal Caves ● Purple Vents ● Twisty Bridges Caves ● Arctic Kelp Caves ● Twisty Bridges
The Eye Jelly moves very slowly in any direction, including upward and downward. When the player comes near it, its eye will follow the player. When Robin is far from the Eye Jelly, its eye will instead spin around its center aimlessly. Upon approach, the Eye Jelly will slowly close in on the player, but will keep their distance and not attack. This behavior also applies when the player is driving a Seatruck or Prawn Suit, which can make navigating Eye Jelly-infested areas rather difficult.
● Glacial Connection ● West Arctic
The Lily Paddler is capable of a form of defensive hypnosis that it will use on the player if they approach, causing them to lose control of their movement and be reoriented against their will, similar to the Mesmer though nonaggressive.
● Deep Lilypads Cave ● Lilypads Crevice ● Lilypad Islands ● Tree Spires
All Aggressive Creatures
These small aggressive creatures live in a symbiotic relationship with the Titan Holefish. Symbiotes lay their eggs within a blue gel-like substance in the tail hollow of the Titan Holefish. Here the eggs can extract the nutrients and oxygen in order to grow. In return the adult Symbiotes form shoals around the Titan Holefish, attacking any potential predators that come close and removing parasites from the Titan’s body. You can catch and eat them. They deal 7 damage with one bite!
● Sparse Arctic
The Brinewing will attack any nearby creatures and if player or another creature is hit, they will freeze. This does no damage and the Brinewing has no harmful attack, but it leaves the player helpless and slowly sinking for several seconds, vulnerable to oxygen depletion and attacks by any nearby Symbiotes. The player can be thawed by clicking Left and Right Mouse Button continuously.
● Sparse Arctic
It can be observed preying on small fish, Arctic Rays, and even the player. On top of its aggressive diet, the Brute Shark appears to move slowly but is actually rather nimble when attacking prey. They deal 30 damage with one bite!
● Lilypad Islands ● Tree Spires ● Twisty Bridges
Cryptosuchus typically patrol a specific area or path, mostly content to swim in circles and they are surprisingly cowardly creatures if the player does not back down: even a single hit from the Survival Knife will cause a Cryptosuchus to yield its attack and swim a significant distance away. They deal 30 damage with one bite!
● Purple Vents ● Thermal Spires
Rock Punchers are slow moving, aggressive crustacean-like creatures. They move along the sea floor until approached by the player. At such a time, they will begin following the player, and will even occasionally jump at the player if they swim too close. They can be distracted by Rockgrubs, which are their main prey. They deal 10 damage with one punch!
● Crystal Caves ● Koppa Mining Site ● Thermal Spires
When the player is within distance the Snow Stalker becomes aggressive, stalking the player by crouching and slowly approaching players while snarling. When close, it will speed up and leap at the player and proceed to attack them. It is not dissuaded by failed attack attempts and will continue to chase the player down immediately, not stopping until it has inflicted damage upon them. If it successfully attacks the player, it will deal 35 damage, but if the player’s health is less than 35%, the attack will be an instant kill with a cinematic showing the player getting attacked and eaten in the creature’s jaws.
● Arctic Spires ● Glacial Basin
If the player swims within range of the Spikey Trap, they will be grabbed by one of its tentacles. While being held by a tentacle, the player will be slowly drawn towards the creature and take constant damage. The tool or hand can be used to hit the tentacle with Right Mouse Button, which will cause the Spikey Trap to release the player allowing them to swim free. If the player is successfully pulled into the creature’s mouth, it will consume the player, dealing 60 damage.
● Deep Twisty Bridges ● Lilypads Crevice ● Deep Lilypads Cave
The Squidshark is a carnivorous creature and can be seen preying on smaller fauna. While pursuing a target, the flaps on its face open and reveal a large, protruding jaw. If the Squidshark manages to catch the player, it will grab them and deal 40 damage, but the player will escape by forcing their way out of its mouth. However, if this attack is performed and the player has 40 or less health, they will fail to escape its hold and slip into its mouth, which results in an instant kill. If the player is inside of a vehicle and is within close proximity of a Squidshark, it will perform an electrical attack with its tentacles, whipping them towards whatever is in front of the creature. This attack will temporarily disable the vehicle’s power, leaving it open to further attacks.
● Deep Lilypads Cave ● Deep Twisty Bridges ● Lilypad Islands
Chelicerates normally patrols areas, commonly attacking creatures like Cryptosuchuses and Brute Sharks but also attacking smaller fish. On spotting potential prey, it will open its beak and charge, emitting a loud screech as it does so. If it successfully attacks Robin, it will deal 75 damage, but if her health is less than 77%, the bite will be an instant kill with a cinematic showing Robin getting caught in the creature’s jaws. Chelicerates will also attack the Seatruck and Prawn Suit, grasping these vehicles in their jaws and pushing them around for a short time dealing damage.
● Purple Vents ● East Arctic ● Tree Spires
The Void Chelicerate is a rare mutation of the chelicerate that prefers to roam in dark, open waters at the edge of the sector. The Void Chelicerate not be able to grab the Seatruck or the Prawn Suit. They deal 73 damage with one bite.
● Water Void
The Ice Worm is an aggressive leviathan class fauna species that burrows beneath the surface of the ice. They appear to be ambush predators, drawn towards vibrations above them. Ice Worms are exclusively subterranean creatures and do not swim. The Ice Worm travels about just below the surface of the ice, producing a distinct trail of pushed-up snow accompanied by a jet of steam. It is attracted to noise and vibration, and will surface to attack whatever produces these things. Once it is above ground, it will do a loud roar before doing an attack. If the player is a reasonable distance from the Ice Worm, the Ice Worm will lunge at the target. After it has lunged at the player, it will either emerge back out of the ground to do another attack or it will poke at the player from underground with its horn. If it is closer to the target it will do one of many close-range attacks.
● Arctic Spires
They will grab your Seatruck or Prawn Suit to attack, pulling the vehicle into its mouth dealing damage until it is released. When the seatruck is in it’s mouth, the Shadow Leviathan will spray a blue liquid from it’s mouth, which is confirmed in the databank to be acid. If the Shadow Leviathan attacks the player under 75 health, a cinematic death scene will instead play. Bizarrely, although Shadow Leviathans do not attack small prey fish such as the Red Feather Fish. Due to the Shadow Leviathan commonly not targeting smaller Fauna, it is recommended to proceed with caution when entering its territory, as the Shadow Leviathan will likely attack the player immediately on sight.
● Crystal Caves ● Fabricator Caverns
All Vehicles and Upgrades
The Seatruck is a modular undersea vehicle, somewhat resembling a submersible train. It consists of a small cab unit to which various modules can be attached to add additional functions. An unmodified Seatruck has a crush depth of 150m, which can be increased by outfitting it with depth modules. The Seatruck can be construct by using Mobile Vehicle Bay. Mobile Vehicle Bay fragments can be found in the Twisty Bridges and Arctic Kelp Caves.
● Purple Vents ● Thermal Spires ● Twisty Bridges
This upgrade gives the Seatruck a temporary burst in speed at the cost of 6 units of energy per use. It can be activated using the number key corresponding to the slot it is placed in, or the Shift key.
● Sea Monkey Nests located in the Lilypads Crevice
This upgrade increases the Seatruck’s speed when hauling two or more modules.
● Sea Monkey Nests located in the Lilypads Crevice
This upgrade when used creates an electrical field around the Seatruck to fend off predators, much like the Seamoth Perimeter Defense System. The upgrade itself can be picked up at Marguerit Maida’s Base.
This module collects any small Fauna that come too close to the module. Captured creatures are visible in the aquariums on the sides.
● Purple Vents ● Lilypad Islands
This module contains a fold-out bed as well as a compact Jukebox and a Picture Frame, allowing for the player to sleep to skip the night and play custom music.
● Purple Vents
This module contains a standard Fabricator and a small locker, allowing the player to fabricate items while away from their Seabase.
● Deep Twisty Bridges ● Purple Vents
This module contains a large amount of storage spaces in the form of lockers.
● Deep Twisty Bridges
This module allows a Prawn Suit to be attached to the back of the Seatruck. This module must be on the end of any chain of modules.
● Deep Purple Vents
This module allows the player to teleport to the Seatruck using a Tether Tool. All Seatruck Modules can be construct by using Mobile Vehicle Bay. The blueprint for Tether Tool and this module is unlocked by scanning 10 Architect Artifacts.

● Koppa Mining Site ● Outpost Zero ● Phi Excavation Site ● Mercury II – Bow Wreck
It is used to mine resources from large material deposits, automatically placing the resources it mines in the storage compartment on the Prawn Suit’s back.
● Koppa Mining Site ● Mercury II – Bow Wreck
This upgrade adds an arm which can be fired and will latch onto surfaces to pull the Prawn Suit towards it. The player can latch onto surfaces as if it were a traditional grappling hook by holding Left Mouse Button or Right Mouse Button (depending on which arm the Grappling Arm is equipped on) to fire the hook, have it latch onto a solid object within range, and having the player reel in with the Prawn Suit.
● Sea Monkey Nests located in the Lilypads Crevice
It replaces an arm of the Prawn Suit with a high power Propulsion Cannon. This version is more powerful than the handheld Propulsion Cannon and can lift larger, heavier objects.
● Crystal Caves
It replaces one of the Prawn Suit’s standard arms with a magazine-fed double-barrelled torpedo launcher. This allows for rapid firing of two shots. The launcher must be manually loaded prior to use, and is accessed from outside the suit as if it is a storage device. Its magazine can accommodate up to six torpedoes.
● Crystal Caves
This upgrade greatly increases the power of the thrusters when equipped, giving faster acceleration and a much higher boost. The upgrade itself can be picked up at Koppa Mining Site, inside a six slot upgrade console by the Prawn storage platform.
This upgrade generates power in areas that are 30°C or higher.
● Sea Monkey Nests located in the Lilypads Crevice
The Snowfox is a land vehicle for Below Zero. Snowfox is strictly for zooming across the arctic terrain and cannot work over or under water. The Snowfox is constructed on the Snowfox Hoverpad, as well as being customized on it. The blueprint for Snowfox Hoverpad is unlocked by scanning Snowfox Hoverpads at the Phi Robotics Center. It is crafted with the Habitat Builder.
