Overview
Have you ever had trouble with some of the tools? Of course you have! This guide will help you with your tool problem and improve your skills!
The Scaples.
The scaples are the important tool to get the job done. I don’t really see a difference between all of them. But they are for cutting veins and that stuff. To get the correct grip, use the thumb and pointer finger. If you are looking for the Kidney Knife go to the “Misc. Tools” section. Pictures below.

The Hand Tools
The “Hand Tools” are the hammer, bonesaw, and axe
The Hammer
The hammer is good with bones but it does a load of damage.
The Bonesaw
The bonesaw is sort of good with bones but it can cut veins.
The Surgical Axe
The surgical axe can cut veins but it is for the brain vein thing. It can cut the skull well. I have done brain surgury with just the axe and the new brain. It seems good for bones. Picture below.
The Motorised Tools.
By “Motorised” I mean the Bonesaw and the Drill.
The Drill
The drill is the KEY to getting A++ in heart surgury, Just extremely gently remove the right side of the rib fage and cut the heart out. And for getting the achievement “What have I done?” (To get that acheivement on regular brain surgery when it starts quickly grab the drill and drill in the middle of the front of his brain. Bob should be dead in less then a second.)
The Motorised Bonesaw
I find the bonesaw useful for the rib cage and thats about it (Not the skull I often hit the brain, you might be able to not hit it though.) Picture below.
Misc. Tools
The Misc. Tools are the scissors, the tweezers, the kidney knife, the surgical laser and the spoon.
The Scissors
In space heart surgery, the scissors saved alot of time. THE SCISSORS WORK AS KNIFES!!! They are also useful for getting into hard to reach places.
The Tweezers
The tweezers are good for scooping out kidneys and hearts. But they can’t cut veins.
The Kidney Knife
The kidney knife is sort of useful for me. I have never cut veins with it though. I do find it useful for getting the kidney behind that god d*mn green thing holding the liver. Picture below.
The Surgical Laser
I have only used the surgical laser a few times and I find it hard to use. It is only good for bones and to get no damage to the patient you have to angle it perfectly
The SPOOOOON!
The spoon is very useful. No not for getting the achievement “Let’s See That Sick Filth Again”. It is good for scooping things like the heart and kidneys out. I dont know if it cuts anything though. FUN FACT!!! The Achievement “Let’s See That Sick Filth Again” is a reference to the video “I BROKE SURGEON SIMULATOR 2013!” The video will be at the bottom of this section. MAKE SURE NOT TO DIE FROM TOO MUCH LAUGHTER!!! THIS VIDEO IS HALARIOUS!!!

The Syringes!!!
People think the green syringe doesn’t help and the blue one does. WRONG!
The Green Syringe
If you have gotten the “Know your syringes” Floppy disk you might know these. The Green Syringe LOWERS BLOOD LOSS!!! If you syringe yourself you know what happens… It doesn’t lower it all the way to no blood loss but it lowers it to the point where it doesn’t matter. If you syringe yourself touch the blue syringe to get rid of the effect. Picture below
The Blue Syringe.
The blue syringe is good AND ONLY GOOD for getting rid of the green syringe effect. If you use it on Bob his blood loss rate with increase RAPIDLY! Example of high blood loss picture below. Followed by the “Know your Syringes” slide for it.
I used the blue syringe only to get that blood loss rate.
The TF2 Tools.
The TF2 Tools are very good. And I mean VERY GOOD!
The Bat.
The bat is awesome at removing the rib cage. If you are lucky you can remove all of it in one shot (example below)
Look in the sockets too.
The Wrench
The wrench is also good for removing the rib cage. But it isn’t as good as the bat.
The Bonesaw
I find the bonesaw a hard tool to use so I don’t find it useful for anything.
The Nuke Thingy
The Nuke Thingy people say is the best tool for the rib cage. But I’ve never tried it.
The Knife
THE KNIVES ARE VALUABLE!!! YOU ONLY GET 2!!! The knife is just like the standard scalpel.
The Kukiri (or however you spell it)
The kukiri is HUGE. It might cut veins I’ve never tried to do it. But it is okay for the bones.
The Uberfire 9000 (as I like to call it.)
You NEED THIS to finish the transplant. I recommend when you start to remove the bonesaw and nuke thingy from their container and putting the Uberfier 9000 in it. If you try to complete the transplant with the smaller heart it will explode and you will get an achievement. It has to be used on the big heart.
The Medigun
The medigun’s controller is the joystick thing. It can be hard to get the medigun pointed to the heavy’s chest. It needs to be pointed at the heavy’s chest when it has the big heart with the Uberfire 9000 in order to complete the mission.
The Fireaxe
I’ve never used the fire axe before. It might cut veins and be good for the rib cage but I don’t know.
The Solemn Vow
The solemn vow is that head thing with the handle that says “Do Not Harm” or something like that. I think its good for the rib cage but its a small tool.
The Orange screwdriver and the pencil
I have never used those at all. I think the orange screwdriver can cut veins and same with the pencil. But I don’t know. If you look in the top left corner of the picture of the perfect rib cage removal the pencil and orange screwdriver are there.
Last but not least the bottles.
The bottles are useful for bashing the rib cage I think. If you break it the sharp edges can cut veins.
