An Even Easier guide for community servers

Since Steam has removed downloads this guide no longer works for new players, but I'm still keeping it up if anyone has it installed. New players follow this guide: https://www.dodgesdomain.com/docs/guide-install-setup/

Step 1: Navigate to Tribes: Ascend's properties panel (right click on it in your steam library and click properties)
Step 2: Add the following to the launch options Step 3: Open Tribes:Ascend and login with any name and password*
Step 4: Profit

Note that this only will work for OOTB servers, which is what most people are running anyway. Game Of The Year edition servers (an earlier version of T:A that some prefer) require an injector called TAMods and I have no idea if that will run under proton.
