Overview
A guide to finding all collectables in Animal Super Squad, including Hats, Pilots, Bonus Levels, and Vehicles.
Boulogner Forest
Banana Hat
The first collectable hat is found immediately after getting the Toilet Kart at the first checkpoint.
“Ethan” The Sloth
The first unlockable character is Ethan. It is found near the end of the level in a cage, unlocked by pressing the button.
Head down for Rastacap collectable, continue across for the end of the level and the bonus level.
Backlash
This bonus level is found by heading straight over the gap and under the large spinning blade. Then continue to progress until you find the bonus level on a floating platform.
Rastacap
Heading down the pit marked by blatant arrows will lead to conveyors leading to this hat.
Boot
To move the conveyor belt out of the way, you need to slip behind the rock and boost into it. This should push it onto the apple, which then proceeds to raise the conveyor.
Cutlery Cuts
This bonus level is found immediately after this ferris wheel and is pretty much unavoidable.
“Polka” The Pufferfish
The second unlockable character is Polka. It is found near the end of the level in a locked room which you have to progress through to complete the level.
Other Unlockable
Traffic Cone
The Traffic Cone hat is found at the very end of this rather tricky level, you have to stay ahead of the spinning blades but behind the sinking water which will destroy your vehicle. With a few attempts this can be done easily.
Fez
Taking the speed boost shown and continuing forward, you are taken to a short platforming section. Complete this and you will unlock the fez.
Very High Waterfall
Half way through the level you will get here and see the bonus level atop the swinging platform. Just take the speed boost and land at the top.
Raspberry
Nearing the end of the level you will be able to see the raspberry hat on a rock across some water. To get the hat, take the speed boost but hold left whilst travelling through the pipe. You will fall out of the tube near the end, landing just to the right of the hat.
Umbrella Hat
Ok now this level is some fresh hell but can completed with cheese. Selecting the Flame Flower, head fowards but eject before you pass through the vehicle changer. The Flame Flower should travel through with you. Get back in and the level should be significantly easier.
Amanita
You will get to a point with the Amanita hat at the top of a platform. To reach it you need to bounce off of the mushroom and boost in the direction of the platform. It can be a bit tricky and the mushroom doesn’t reset until you reset back to the checkpoint (which fortunately is right here).
Chumpy Jumpy
This bonus level is unavoidable whilst progressing through the level.
Sledgetoaster
This is the first new vehicle you unlock after the “Flushmaster” starting vehicle. You are given the vehicle in the latter half of the level and actually unlocked it at the end of the level.
“Corndog” The Pufferfish
This unlockable character is tricky to unlock. To get across the gap, you have to boost your kart into the mine and tilt forward so you hit the mine head on with your pilot. With enough luck and several tries, your pilot will be flung across and finish the level, unlocking this new character.
Kopter
This vehicle is unlocked whilst playing through this level and is unbeatable without it.
Medium Hard Kopter Level
After you unlock the Kopter Kart, you will get to a section where you are propelled left and right upwards by speed boosts. As you reach the top, get as high as you can using your boost and you will see the bonus level ontop of the pillar.
Junk Propeller
Despite the name, this bonus level is pretty simple. Just do some well timed air manoeuvring to get through the teleporters and complete the level. Getting you this new vehicle.
Box Cloud Pox
To unlock this bonus level you first need to go down this hole. This is immediately after the fast platform ride which may send you flying past this hole. If it does, just backtrack until you get here.
Knights Helmet
To unlock this hat all you need to do is get to the end of the level. I would recommend using the Sledgetoaster and jumping past most of the obstacles. This level is rather easy and can be done in 1 or 2 tries.
Toxic Bomba
To unlock this bonus level, head down this gap marked by the arrow. Follow the path and the level will be at the end.
Flame Flower
This vehicle is unlocked by completing this level. The Flame Flower has a much better boost than the Flush Master but cannot be held down for too long, otherwise your vehicle will explode.
Paper Hat
This level at least to me appears broken. The Level is completable easily by selecting the Flushmaster, leaning forward until the end of the flagpole triggers the mine. This causes the finish and the Paper Hat to rise out of the box. However you always seem to trigger the finishline before being able to pick up the hat, making it impossible to collect.
Billinge Caverns
Paper Bag
As soon as you start the level, boost immediately to get the hat in the upper right corner.
Pirate Tricorne
On the first elevator section, take the left passage. This leads to the hat sitting on the cloud.
King of The Hill
Found near the beginning of the level, boost while on the ramp to get enough height to get the bonus level above the burning boxes.
Octopus Hat
Hat can be seen first from above. You need to position yourself on the middle largest barrel and fly up into the speedboosts. This will land you next to the hat.
Crystals and Crystals
Found near end of the level. Almost unavoidable.
Avocado Hat
One of the better Bonus levels, all you have to do is avoid the red crystals. Very easy with kopter Kart.
king Crown and Queen of the Hill
Honestly ♥♥♥♥ this piece of trash level. This is some “Getting over it with Bennett Foddy” kind of disease. The only help I can give you is you can fly toaster first if you tilt so that the toaster is facing upwards, then boost whilst holding S. Other than that just skip this ass unless your a completionist.
Queen Crown
Now you thought King of the Hill was bad. Queen of the Hill is just frankly utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and really comes to show the lack of fine control in this game. I pity people playing on mobile and their now destroyed phones which have been thrown against the wall whilst attempting this finicky, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, controller destroying level.
It Burns
After taking the top path at the beginning, you will eventually drop down to above the bonus level. Using the Koptor you can fly round to the left and get It Burns.
Tin Foil Hat
When you are at the black hole room, take the top path. Get the Koptor and pass the spikes to get the Tin Foil Hat.
Plunger Hat
Honestly this one is just luck. The hitbox on the spikes is larger than the spikes so you will randomly die. Just brute force this one. If you eventually get through the tube, stop at the end and jump into the finish. If you don’t have enough speed you will fall beneath the finish and won’t be able to jump up.
War Bonnet
When you are at this intersection, fly upwards and follow the path round and you will find the hat.
Haha
Found near the end of the level, pretty unavoidable.
Moose Hat
A trend in this sections Bonus levels is that none of them are fun. At all. this one is yet again ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and requires very precise flying with the Koptor to pull off.
Spicy Chompers
After passing through the first section with trees, you come across a lavapit with a hole in in. Go through the hole to get the Spicy Chompers.
Lavish Lifestyle
Found near the end of the level, pretty unavoidable.
Durkslag
A suprisingly easy level. All you need to do is eject from the vehicle and you should get flung high enough to finish.
Outer RYD IV
Space With Ship
Found near end of the level. Almost unavoidable.
Gritty Venture
Found near end of the level. Almost unavoidable.
Unknown Collectable
There is a collectable in this level I have not been able to find. If someone has found it, let me know and I will update this guide.
“Slippy” the Frog
Finally a new character. Found near end of the level. Almost unavoidable.
Final Remarks

Some notes for achievement hunters;
- Some achievements failed to unlock on my playthrough, namely the ones for playing as each character and using each vehicle. I am unsure whether it is an issue on my end or that of the game.
- There are more than 20 hats in the game. So some tricky to obtain ones, such as King of the Hill and Queen of the Hill, can be avoided whilst still getting the “Waste of time” achievement. (Much to my relief)
