Anime Bloom Filter Guide for OpenCanvas 6

Anime Bloom Filter Guide

Overview

Learn to apply a really cool filter to spice up your image!

Applying the Bloom

When starting out, your picture should remain the flat, unaltered colors.

Now, to spice it up and give it that anime bloomy atmosphere we need to apply a White Airbrush over our light points, the places you want to pop and glow.

After doing so, apply a Linear Light Filter over it and appropriately change the opacity.

Applying the Texture

Next is Optional, but will look good depending on the picture’s atmosphere. Pull a texture off the internet and overlap the image over your picture.

Then apply a Multiply Filter on the texture and appropriately change the opacity.

Applying The Color Effect

The last part is where all the magic comes together.
Apply a light red to light orange gradient over the picture.

Change the hue to the desired color gradient.

Then apply a Lighten Filter on the Gradient and appropriately change the opacity.

Go to Filter -> Render -> Plasma, create a Color plasma with lower Contrast, and Overlay mode. mess around with the Opacity for the desired result.

Final Result

And you’re Done! Enjoy your flashy filters! And dont overdo it!
