Overview
a quick list of basics which will go a long way to helping new players get the most out of Animyst
NEED TO KNOWS
+ gathered items will enter your inventory (tab) and will need to be dragged onto your hotbar to be used
+ use as many spells as you can. loadouts with many magic spells will have a huge advantage over someone using just one or two
+ craft up if at all possible. most crafted spells are much stronger than anything you grab off the ground
+ when you die, everything in your inventory and hotbar will fall to the ground, where it will last 10 minutes. Anything wearable, whether or not you are wearing it will stay with you and can not be looted.
+ use your map (F) to nagivate the world, find content areas, and observe game world feedback to certain player actions
+ manage your stam. players accustomed to FPS mechanics may need to get used to using sprint and jump wisely
+ seek contact, or cross the map quickly by warping to a rally point with (G)
+ different resources respawn on different timers. some may be worth camping for a while to stock up on
+ all spells have different damages, ranges, and physics forces. players who do some testing with a friend or try out magic on basic creatures will know more than just reading the menus will teach
+ seek out the bosses, hidden deep in wild areas and dungeons, to farm for rare loot and materials drops. Red marks on your map show the way to some creatures
+ craft Shrines and place them inside of your base. These will spawn items from various magic schools on a timer
+ player-built structures made from different materials have different healthpools and toughnesses. Check out a basic building guide on Y
+ many of the lights you see flashing in the world are feedback from oother players’ actions in the world around you
