Non-story related achievements

Disturbing the peace
When stepping out of the elevator building at the very beginning of the game (“01 Hello World”) disturb the robots. Just throw a box or the screwdriver down to the robots.

It’s electric!
Electrify water with an electric arrow and hurt an enemy. Best way to do this is on your way back to the entrance in the stealth level “07 Into the Dark”. The complete floor under the second pair of robots is covered with water. Shoot an electric arrow into the water and the robots get hurt.

Boom!
Hurt or kill an enemy with a Radiance Mine. You will find the first Radiance Mines in level “06 The Device”. Throw the mines onto the floor before pressing the button to fight the second wave of enemies. Shoot the mine with an arrow when a robot is close to it. Later in the game you can also buy Radiance Mines at the vending machines.

Spender
Buy something from a vending machine.

Unhealthy hoarder
Find all collectibles. There are 16 hidden collectibles. Use the guide below to find them all.

Lore Texts

Lore texts can be found on the computers spread over the world of Apex Construct. Type “dir” on a computer to list the available files. Type “open file” to view the text (and “find” the text).

There are 34 lore texts available.
A summary of all lore texts is listed in the safe house. These are the different topics:

  • The Shift (6) – On computers the files are named “visitor”. You will only find the first two files. The other four are automatically marked to be found after “01 Hello World”.
  • CARF (4)
  • Cyber Arrow (4)
  • The AIs (5)
  • Fathr’s Plans (5) – On computers the files are named “visitor”.
  • Overture (5) – You find the keyword in the locked room in the safe house after “07 Into the dark”.
  • The Architect (5)

Secrets

There are three kinds of secrets:

  • Lore texts (34)
  • Collectibles (16)
  • Hidden Radiance locations

Since some levels are in the same area (e.g. The Shifted World) you have the possibility to find the lore texts on both levels. Therefore, you often already have found secrets even if you play a level for the first time. There are even some secrets which can only be found by returning to the same level again (e.g. after receiving a higher security access card during the game).

01 Hello World

Find the cloaking device core. Bring a SEC 1 Access Card.

After the SEC2 door take the right door and climb up the ladder.

4/8: Radiance: Take the ladder down before the room to the electric arrow.

You have to return to this level with a SEC3 Access Card. At the beginning outside of the buliding you can see the Radiance and a teleporter. The teleporter can be found in the SEC3 room. Take the elevator to get there. The teleporter is not there in “10 Another Toy”.

04 In Mothr’s Domain

Search the area for a cloaking device core. Bring a SEC 2 Access Card.

Activate the machine with the device cores and shut down Mothr’s network.

07 Into the Dark

Examine the source of the unidentified signal.
