Overview
This guide provides the basics of how Aqua Lungers is played.
Basics
Hello and thanks for checking out Aqua Lungers! Below is a quick explanation for how the game works:
Aqua Lungers is primarily aimed at multiplayer gameplay and requires a gamepad (up to 4) to be connected in order to play. At present the explanations for inputs refer to the Dual Shock 4, but button mappings will work very much the same way with any brand controller commonly available.
Menu:
dpad/left stick up/down = navigate
dpad left stick left/right = adjust option
X = Submit
Circle = cancel/back
Match:
dpad/left stick = move
X = Jump or fast swim in water(press repeatedly)
Square or R2 = Attack (hold to charge) ****Charge attack is necessary for later stages****
Triangle = throw treasure (dpad/left stick to aim)
Circle = activate/ throw special item (dpad/left stick to aim)
L1/R1 = cycle among available special items
The object of the game is to bring treasure from around the map back to the players corresponding treasure chest (think capture the flag). It is typically at the players spawn location and colored to match the players outfit.
Currenly, treasure spawners are depicted as sunken ships with gold spilling out. Use attacks to knock the gold out. Players can only carry up to 10 treasures which can be dropped if the player is attacked or dies, and points are score only when a treasure comes into contact with a players treasure chest (throw it in with Triangle).
A player wins the match when his/her points reach the limit set before the match is started (3000 by default). If players set a timer for the match, the winner is the one with the most points when time runs out.
For boss matches, players cannot win without defeating the monster within the time limit. However, upon defeating the monster, points are counted an a winner is determined.
