Overview
Hello my fellow defenders, today i am bringing you a guide for Aquanos NMHCMM , i tested the build with 3k stats ( on tower dmg and around 2k on sides ) and worked well, although you will need some major repairs during the waves with stats like that. I recommend starting at wave 13 as the minimum starting wave, as you will have enough mana to build everything and upgrade a few beams and a few waves to upgrade your defences before you start farming for items. Ofcourse any stats above 3k is gladly welcomed as it will greatly help.
Stats
The stats of the heroes i used for this build:
Initiate: 1600/3500/2200/2200
Countess: 2100/3400/1200/2100
EV: 2700/3200/1000/1300
Summoner: 2400/3200/1700/2300
Huntress: 1800/3000/1400/1000
And ofcourse stats higher that the one i used will help a lot.
I use Jester with Lupine and Genie for the upgrades.
Auras
So this is the aura placement on the minimap , i will show each spot separately as there are 2 things you need to know about the auras:
So here as it follows an aura stack ( Ensnare, Electric, Str. Drain ) :
Now here make sure that the auras are at least close to that fence/edge so that when upgraded along with the buff will reach far out and kill fish wyverns which ofcourse come from there on MM, but with the harpoon we will be placing later in the guide you should not worry even for the golden wyverns:
Next few are fairly easy to place no special requirements there:
Now for the last one, from the left there will be a lot of ogre copters and wyverns comming , so make sure you place the aura stack as much to the left as possible in order to kill them and avoid trouble( even tho on later waves i did have some problems due to chopters not going down fast enough and ogres landing behind my defences ) and you need to watch about that too:
Buffs and Reflects
Here is the buff placement:
On the first crystal there are one 6 DU buff , one 5 DU buff ( originally there was a 3 DU physical wall but for some reason even with the reflect it went down too fast so i replaced it with minion wall ) one 4 DU buff for the harpoons and 3x 1 DU Reflects as it follows on the screenshots:
Now something important ive learned from a guide ( i cant remember who wrote it but it was for Tinkers lab ) you will see on the screenshot but you need to place the buffs on a certan distance from the crystal because ogres can reach it and the limit of the ogres reach is where a 4 DU buff becomes a 5 DU , right when it changes from 4 to 5, so make sure you do that check otherwise your crystals will die pretty fast:
Second spot is fairly easy, one 6 DU buff , one 4 DU buff behind it for harpoons and 2x 1 DU reflects:

Third spot is again easy – one 5 DU beam ( you can also make it 4 DU , but since after we build all we have some spare DU do as you wish ) and two 1 DU reflects on each side of the buff to make sure spiders wont web the archers since they spawn behind the minions:
Last spot there are two buffs , one is 5 DU for minion wall and behind it a 4 DU buff for harpoons and ofcourse 2x 1 DU reflects 1 infront and 1 behind to take care or spider webs again:
Traps and Harpoons
We will be placing a total of 6 harpoons , 2 on each spot, as the north section does not require much attention, so here are the placements of the harpoons:
For the first crystal (south) make sure the 2 harps can also shoot to the side as it will give you extra dps on them ogres
The last two harpoons should be placed so that they can shoot the wyverns and copters which are comming from the left side.
As now for the traps i like to use gas and inferno as you can see the placement pretty much depends on you , there is not much of a philosophy on that part of the build.
Minions
Here we are on the last part of the build and one of the most important – our main dmg source – the minions.
As you will see on the screenshots on the first crystal right were the 2 BB (buff beams) gather , you will place 1 Mage minion and from there on the short buff place 4 Archers.On the long 6 DU BB there should be 3 archers 1 spider 1 mage ( on top of the spider ) and 3 more archers.
Next crystal (West one): 4 Archers , a spider , mage on top of the spider and 4 archers on the other side:
North crystal as we mentioned does not get a lot of mobs so you should be perfectly fine with 1 mage and 4 archers ( 2 achers on each side of the mage )which should be stacked due to the lack of space ( if you dont know how to minion stack, check this awesome guide made by wat )
The last crystal you should have 2 archers , a spider , a mage and another 3 archers , leaving you with a total of 158/160 MU.

Final notes
Every minion is on the buff beam , make sure the traps are also buffed.If build correctly you will be left with 1-3 DU which you can use to extend a reflect wall or build a few more if you want.
The rest of the chests with mana on the starting wave should be used to upgrade the north and east buff beams ( the ones where the minions are ) to 1 star , then start with Jester with Lupine and genie to upgrade.
I recommend upgrading all buffs and auras to 3 stars first , then go on the south crystal and start upgrading , i personally upgrade everything ( except the buffs and auras ) to 1 star then move on to the next spot but my stats is almost twice the one ive stated for minimum so do what you think is necessary.Upgrade order should be South > West > East > North.
