A Quick archer tactics guide for newbies F3+F3 Loose formation: Allows for archers to spread apart and not blocking each others Line of FireF7:To split them into groups so they can shoot enemies in the flanks while your infantry engages/ Also helps if you have a large number of archers and want 100 rate of fire effciencyF6:Delegate command of your archers to the ai, they will fire on the enemy and automatically retreat when they get close no need for you to micro however personally i like to micro especially during the big battlesTerrain:Plays a big part in winning a battle as having a hill or elevated terrain gives you a big advantage as it allows for a platform for your archers to shoot from with more accuracy and range Placing infantry in rivers and archers on the flanks is pretty much gg , slow moving infantry+ archers shooting into the flanks= GGI have linked 2 video examples on how it worksTactics:Split archers into two groups use one to skirmish the enemy line and the other supporting your infantry on the flanks / on a hillIf you still losing using this guide, you can try the universal tactic you can F1+F3 lol XD(note this means your troops charges the enemy)If the guide helped or if you have more questions just leave a comment and i will respond when i can I hope this has helped you , please give it a review so new players can see it! do your part!Kiting Tactic: Kiting is a skill where you are constantly moving and firing at the enemy with your arrows rocks and javelinsLast resort tactic when the terrain still does not guarantee you victoryUse your infantry to aggro the enemy army and constantly keep moving the infantry away from your archers while the archers follow the enemy on the flanks and behind firing constantly until the enemy is worn down enough for you to F1+F3(CHARGE!) to secure the winI have linked an example for that s well

Example using hills and rivers to maximize archer fire
Place infantry to hold in the water
With archers on the flanks shooting from above and in the flanks
Place Infantry at the bottom of the Hill
Place archers at top of the hill to maximize range and on the flanks for faster kills
Kiting the enemy to wear them down constantly
By spliting my archers and kitting them constantly i was able to wear their numbers down of a 3 to 1 battle, i had about 90 troops vs enemy 290 and managed to win by kitting
Shouldnt be taking battles like this however i got ambushed hence forced to fight lol
