About Ranked Multiplayer
What is Ranked Mode?
After participating in online multiplayer games (whether public or private), players can ascend in level, unlocking new portraits, frames, and increasing the skill level of players they’re matched with online.
Levelling
There are currently sixty (60) levels available in Armello’s multiplayer. Levels vary in the number of Stars required for completion. When a player has earned enough Stars, they will proceed to the next level.
There are ten initial levels, each with custom portraits and titles. Beyond that, every tenth level will grant a new portrait frame.
Stars
Stars are earned in a variety of ways at the end of a completed game.
Contender – Grants one star at the end of a completed match, whether won or lost.
Victory – Grants one star for winning the match.
Defeating Human Opponents – Grants one star for every non-AI player defeated in the course of winning a match.
Win Streak Bonus – Grants one star for winning two or more multiplayer games in a row.
Lone Wolf Bonus – Grants one star for games completed where the Public Multiplayer Queue was joined and the player was matched with a pre-made party of three opponents.
Underdog Bonus – Grants one star if there was an opponent in the game of five or more ranks higher.
Commendation Bonus – Grants one star if a player receives two commendations at the end of a match, or two stars if they receive all three commendations.
