Overview
This is NOT a walkthrough, but rather an achievment guide that will help outline obtaining the achievements in the game and how I was able to acheive them. This guide will be in progressive order, starting with the beginning of the game, all the way to the end.
Intro
Hey everyone! This is my achievement guide. This will not be a complete game walkthrough, so if you expect me to hold your hand the whole way through, sorry for your luck! I will however go into detail as to how to obtain every achievement in a chronological way that makes sense.
I am going to add three sections “Misc”, “Combat”, and “Fusion”. These three will have the detail on where is easy to obtain these achievements along with what to do, but you will also see these duplicated in the other sections of the guide when they become available and easiest to do.
I want to make a note for the game. You do not have to go out of your way for MOST of the achievements. You will get all of the story ones, you will get all of the combat ones provided you don’t avoid mobs, and you will get most of the Aurionic modes by playing around.
Things that you want to look for are
- Caloo. These are the secret items in each area. I put a description on this in the chapter “The Beginning”
- Fighting on the world map. Almost every continent has 15 fights you need to partake in. You can either do it all at once, or do a few here and there while you jump from town to town (which isn’t often)
- Every achievement in the chapter “Focusing your Legacy”. These are all missable. Easily missable too, if you do not know what to do.
- Combos. Your final combo achievement is 500. Have fun.
- Using Ultimates, and deflections. You need to use 120 Ults and block 1000 hits. You WILL need to be using these a lot
“Focusing your Legacy”
I GOT IT. I FIGURED IT OUT. So when they say “Focus your legacy”, what they really mean is triggering an Aurionic mode. So for every acheivement in this guide that says “Focus your legacy after ____”, You need to attack the boss normally WITHOUT using an Aurionic mode, until the boss triggers theirs first. This is typically at boss half health.
A quick note that I learned on this. You can actually use your skill Shaka’s Wrath to pin a boss on the edge of the screen. Then you can cast this skill faster than the boss can land, easily smoking A LOT of the boss’s health.
The Beginning
So after you gain the ability to move Enzo, immediately speak to every single person that you come across. This achievement is hardly missable, just ensure that you do not travel INTO the wedding ceremony area to the left of the second screen, nor talk to the elder under the tree until the achievement pops.
My achievement actually popped before I spoke to everyone, just as a bit of fair warning. Make sure that you are entering every hut that you can in the village as well if this has not unlocked and you believe that you have talked to everyone outside.
SIDE NOTE: While you are doing the first one, look out for secret flowers (AKA Caloo) on the ground that give you items. They typically sparkle, and there is even a bubble tutorial on what they are. It is pretty easy to find them on tutorial island, but later on in the game, they start to hide them pretty well. The main locations for these are typically in towns, usually one+ per “screen”. You need to collect 100 for an achievement.

Fight Ngarba until he uses his Aurion mode WITHOUT using yours. This is in your first battle with him. If Erine has already joined you in battle, you missed it.

You will get this during the battle with Ngarba
[MISSABLE] Flying Lion
Cast the Legacy of the Aurion mode “Honour” while in the air. You can do this at ANY time. Including after this battle. ANY time.
Use your first legacy against Ngarba in the second section of the fight. If you are killing him faster than you are charging your ultimate meter (the meter below you), you can always fill the meter by performing the different skills, and missing on purpose

Hey! You stuck with the game long enough to reach your first town! Way to go.

After you check on the wife, head downstairs and talk to Nama
During Namas tutorial where she is explaining combat and you have a test dummy to kick around, choose the prompt that elaborates on Caaro Aargudan.
Also, I am afwul at combos. If you are as well, NOW IS THE BEST TIME TO GET THE 450 COMBO ACHIEVEMENT. Her test dummy has infinite health and you can’t knock people down with a combo yet. Force the dummy to the side of the screen and melee like there is no tomorrow. You will get all of the combo acheivements when you hit 450.
After talking to Nama, open up your inventory. It should pop immediately, without having to enter a sub menu within the inventory.

Have fun buying!
Fight Nama until she uses her Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours. Then go into any mode
After Namas tutorial, or even before, when you got “Nama Purchases” you can go out of your way for the following achievement “Greedy”.
Eat 10 different foods. This can be done in the first town of Figuil, if you buy the right things from the vendor. If not, you will obtain way more than 10 different foods over normal gameplay.
Bodiop
The Forest. Welcom to platforming 101. What is new? Enemy mobs are a real thing adding an element of GRINDING. Also platforming. This is just the beginning.
So, now that we have introduced enemy mobs, you can start working on some of the combat related achievements. They are all pretty easy, and you really dont have to go out of your way to do any of them. I will put at the bottom of this section a quick overview of what you can obtain within Bodiop without much stress

Ah, wall climbing. You didn’t think that you would be able to play a platformer that DIDN’T have it, did you?
Pretty easy, one acheivement based around fighting him without using Aurionic mode first, and one for using the skill you just learned 3 times
[MISSABLE] Shaka’s Punishment
A little confusing, as the translation for the skill =/= the description, but you want to use your newly aquired Shaka’s Wrath skill on Norbert 3 times.
Fight Norbert until he uses his Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours

Should pop after you go super saiyan
Faily simple, fight her without triggering your Aurionic mode first, and use Erine’s new skill 3 times. You can also start the Erine boss slayer acheivement
[MISSABLE] Queen’s Anger
Use Erine’s newly acquired “Shango’s Flame” skill on Onia 3 times. This time, it’s personal.
Fight Onia until she using her Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours.

Pops after girl time, when you gain control of Enzo again.
Two of his optionals rely on you stopping his move “Gold Rush”. He will only use that move after 50% health. The move is super easy to stop, as he moves at a medium speed across the battle field in a straight line. The other will be about fighting him without triggering Aurionic mode
Fight Norbert until he using his Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours
Stop Gold Rush with the skill “Shaka Wrath”. Teach him to move more unpredictably by headbutting him in the face.
Stop Gold Rush by using the skill “Burning Cross” while in the Aurion mode “Anger”. Show his ice you mean business by punching it with fire.
Finish 5 battles without using STM items. These are the items in the upper left that refill your bars.
Finish 10 battles without using Erine.
Use any of Erine’s skills 100 times
You will get this without trying.
Either on your way back out of the forest, or any other time in the future, use Erine’s Haidouken to finish off 20 enemies
Finish 10 battles without getting hit. I noticed enemies are more reluctant to hit you when you are in Aurion mode. If you are having issues, trigger this immediately at the beginning of battle and sweep the enemies into a large pile with your attacks, as to be able to focus on all at once.
Eliminate a Boss without going into Aurion mode. Originally, I was worried, as most bosses require you to use this mode for another achievement. However this actually popped for me when I defeated one of the “porcupine face” mobs that control the Trakas without using Aurion mode. If this doesn’t work for you, I would suggest saving before one of the easier bosses, Onia Koross.
Ajangas – Kill 25 of the forest bandits
Trakas – Kill 25 of the dog-cupines
Traka Trainers – Kill 25 of the walking Porcupines
Isao
Wow look at that world map. I’m getting FF deja vu seriously hard right now. Let’s head for the city Isao and stop this madness.
Oh, and while you are out here, you can start killing world map mobs for “Kah-Isao Terror”
Fight at least 15 battles on the Kah-Isao world map. Once you have had your fill, head for the huge crater that is Isao. Side note on this and all world map achieves: You will not randomly encounter enemies as in other games. After walking for a short time, you will notice that you can prompt a battle by pressing a key in the lower right of the screen. You will need to trigger battles like this 15 times.

After you enter Isao and advance a screen, you will see the marketplace. Here you can buy enough food to finish the second food acheivement
Eat 20 different foods
After you talk to the politician about errands that you need to do for her, you will travel the the left most hut in the same area. STOP. Save your game, as you will need to make a choice as to a dead man’s (Bohiri) inheritance, and there is an acheivement tied to both choices. you are able to talk to both women THEN make your save if you want to save a bit of time.
Chose the maid and the kids for the inheritance

After your tough decision, continue along the main story by heading to the church (yellow curtain) . You will then have to go back to the Crossroads and take the left path, but the upper left path. It doesn’t really look like a way to a different area, but trust it and go solve the next task. At the end of this line you will get

immediately after sliding down the super dangerous slip and slide, activate the Caloo to the right and say “I’m a guard”. This will unlock a story and this achievement.
Heh heh heh heh, thank you – Resident Evil 4 Trader
Oh hey, and while you are down here, fight a bunch of mobs, to get the Terror of _ achievements, as well as using Gombe Iceberg a bunch. I will list both of them lower in this section. On another side note, there is an acheivement for blocking 1000 times. The Mummy guards are pretty good towards this, especially when you fight 5 at once due to the blood pact. They specialize in attacks that do a lot of hits at once.

Ok, so after this, you wall jump up danger mountain. SAVE. You will have three different side missions to do on the next boss, and having more than one attempt is kinda nice.
You want to accomplish three tasks. Two of them are based around triggering legacies after he does. You can get both at the same time by just triggering the water mode after he triggers. The last one is to use the Anger legacy
Fight him until he uses his Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours first.
Fight him until he uses his Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours. Then go into your water Aurionic mode.
In your “Anger” Aurion form, use your ultimate.

Use Erine’s skill “Gombe Iceberg” 8 times. You can mash this all in one battle. I have no idea if that is the only way, as why would you not.
Wambas – Defeat 25 of the soldiers. Make em pay
Manyang – Defeat 25 ants. This time you are going to need a bigger magnifying glass
The Return to Isao
Well, you learned the truth, and now you are finally free to go kick some butt. DO IT. My favorite part of this next part is when they did a cross with Attack on Titan, and you have to fight a titan.
The peaceful walk through Isao’s flaming, enemy riddled hellscape is brought to you by a series of people to save. A good 2 rules to follow are, A: don’t go straight to the palace. Go literally everywhere else. B: If you have a choice of either saving a group or walking away, SAVE THE GROUP. You should easily net the following without much effort. One thing to note. You will not get ISAO Hero, nor ISAO Soldier’s Respect, until AFTER the Final Area Boss. If you want to ensure you have killed all the ones needed here is your checklist
- Soldiers in the first area
- Merchants in the next area
- Soldiers in the third area
- Bohiris in the house in the third area
- Elders in the area before the palace
Save all of the Merchants. I mean, why wouldn’t you. Buying is great 10/10
Save all of the house member of Bohiris. Because acheivements. This is the only one that is really out of the way. Just enter the house that the Wamba enters and clear it out.
Save that cloaked person that helped you talk to the king. I mean why not, that WAS pretty cool of her to do.
Beleive it or not, there ISN’T an acheivement for him that relate to having him use Aurion mode first. Go big, and do it immediately.
Show off your guns and jump into all three currently known Aurionic modes, “Honour” “Anger” and “Adaptation”
Kill Malik Bilaore. Like you never would have guessed.
SAVE
Here’s how you know he is a real boss, he has the acheivement to have him show his legacy first. You also need to go into your Aurionic modes in a certain order. Order is below (the order you got them)
Fight Dramane until he uses his Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours
After Dramane goes into his Aurion mode, switch into yours in this specific order. The duration that you are in them for does not matter. “Honour”, “Anger”, then “Adaptation”. If you mess up this order, he will point it out on the dialouge that you should show off your pillars in a specific order.

Who needs to talk when you can fight.
Save all of the groups of soldiers that are super angry at you.
If you did all of the previous “Saves” in the current game session, this should unlock.

Dramane explains that you two are soul mates and are super kawaii together. You end up staying with Erine because she is your wife, but secretly wish that Drammy was your new companion
Wasao
So, we learned in the last area that
- The queen is why we can’t have nice things
- Dramane is your soul mate
- WE ARE GETTING A BOAT!!!!
- The queen is just a straight up ♥♥♥♥♥. I really can’t emphasize my dislike enough.
Given the shortness of the tasks you need to do before travel, they will be included in this section. For now, off to the port. Also, if you haven’t battled 15 times in the world map yet, i would suggest it. The world map battles are nice as the enemies are random unlocked enemies of that continent, allowing you to kill any of the 25 kills that you didn’t quite get, if any.

You and Erine decide to have an “open marriage” for the sake of free passage on a ship

You have a nice fireside chat with the Native American that you befriend. Honestly this is a super cool way to explain how souls came to be tho.
Once you get to the main city, open up your map caloo, and you should see a huge chain of rooms in the north.

Shakai Lituba
Let’s go save some children! Head to the right side of Ney-Auri to enter Shakai first, and proceed through the game.

Combine all fusion sets with your first two pillars.
Here are the fusions you should perform to unlock them all. The first two will unlock in Eniki’s tutorial.
- Water + Fire

Avenger – Water + Fire = Vengeance
Devoted – Water + Fire + Fire = Devoted
Charasmatic – Light+Water AKA Fire+Water+Fire+Water = Charismatic

OK. We have played around long enough. Let’s get back to the actual game. First off, check the bottom of this section, as there are some new enemies you need to get 25x kills on. Also, focus on using your Light mode, to unlock the legacy attack for Light mode. You will need it for an upcoming boss.
After progressing to the fork in the road, take the left path all the way. Here you will get
SAVE
The switches are randomized. I tried this puzzle several times, and each time the switches did different things than the last. Note that each switch has 3 different actions it can do. I WAS able to get this acheivement after 12 actions with the pillars, so I assume “atttempts” refers to activations of the leftmost switch to restart the puzzle. Try to beat this puzzle in your first attempt, no matter how many times you use the switches.

When you leave Shakai through the final area on the bottom left, you will have to interact with the water and swim to the next area. Doing this will net you

Just a quick note here; the mode “Charismatic” seems to DECIMATE the mermaid. If you are having issues with it, or just want to smoke them out real fast, jump into this mode and have some fun.

Time to fight an Aurionic super soldier. For starters, fight him until he uses his Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours. Once you have, beat the crap outta him.
Fight Palak until he uses his Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours.

Beat Palak Koross
Now that we have avenged Eniki, let’s continue. As you proceed to the right, you will see a caloo activation switch. This also marks the start of the achievement Ney-Karou Colours. If you are absolute garbage at memorization, or want to be safe, SAVE before hitting the switch. The order is only 3 sets, which is at most, a 5 color sequence.
Beat the colour puzzle in less than 5 attempt. You should honestly get this in three, at most 4.
He has four achievements tied to him. First and foremost, beat him till he uses his Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours. Once you do, first go to Darkness, then jump to Light and use your Legacy attack. Then just beat him
Fight Elorin until he uses his Aurionic mode WITHOUT going into yours
[MISSABLE] Return of the Shadows
Go into your Aurionic mode “Venegance” during the fight with Elorin
Use your legacy skill while in Aurionic mode “Light”
Beat Elorin Karou
Now that we have saved the children, head to the city of Wasao and save it. Same as Isao, when you enter, you will see soldiers under seige. You want to save them all for Wasao Hero. Also this will most likely be where you get Terror of Elites and Rabshas.

Save allllll the people. This will pop when you report to Queen Saba.
Karou Elites – Kill 25 of the super buff dudes. These are the normal looking soldiers.
Karou Elites – Kill 25 of the heavy weapons dudes. Thse are the largest of the soldiers.
After all of this, before heading out, you will stop by Souleyris and get

After this, go to the nearest port, and ship out to Isao. This should net you the following

Wangaa
After becoming a parent and travelling the world with your children, find your way to Wangaa. Like a responsible adult, have your wife and kids go ahead to do real world things while you find the nearest bar so that you can have a drink with YOUR SOUL MATE. Wooooo!

Welcome to the snowy wasteland. Throughout these fights, you should be able to obtain some more Terrors. I will list at the bottom of this section.

This dude has 2 Achievements to his name; Defeat him, and get him to use his Aurionic state WITHOUT using yours

Koulams – Defeat 30 rebels. Dudes have flamingos on their heads. They are the alpha lawn ornament.
Mout-Mout – Defeat 30 rebels – These are the flying bugs. Harder to squash than the ants.
The Bridge and Ediang Lituba
After freezing your butt off, head back to the queen to talk.

After our WONDERFUL night at Ediang Lituba, we are more than ready to follow that spy. We hike all the way to the right of the continent. I want to give a big thanks to the developer that thought of fast travelling across the bridge instead of having to walk the whole thing. You are the best <3.

Uh, this was obtained in the FIRST room for me…
Time to talk to pops. First of all you will need to reequip honour (I know right?). Next you need to fight him until he goes Aurionic WITHOUT using yours. When you do, Use Honour. Thirdly, you need to show Dad how far you have gotten by showing your pillars.
Fight Nabi until he uses his Arionic mode WITHOUT using your
During the fight with Nabi, use the Aurionic mode “Honour”
Show Dad your roots!
Show Dad who you have become by showing him all of your awakened pillars. You need to show him all of your ORIGINAL pillars. That means Fire, Water, and Air. The acheivement should pop in battle, and there should be a dialouge with each pillar used.
After this intense battle you will get

Return to the city of Zama
You can technically just go to port and leave, so make sure you head to the town to the North and poke your head in first

Lets head to Bawanga! Once there you will get

Now its time to play with our newly found pillar fusions on the world map. Here we can get Ka-Auri Master. Then you should go train in Wangaa against mobs to unlock the Legacies, and get Ultimate Legacy. This should also unlock some Terrors. Also if you haven’t gotten Alchemist, you need to manually do 50 Fusions. Now’s good as any, as you should be at at least 15 by now.
Do fusions manually 50 times. Why.
Discovered every Aurionic mode in the game. Your Aurion sheet should be full
Unlock all Aurionic Ultimate Legacies
Typically it unlocked near lvl 25 for me

These fights are super freakin cool, and they help you train the CRAP outta your Aurionic modes. I would suggest using either Fire Pillar or Honour here and spam ultimate legacies to get Ju’u.

You ready? This is it.
Let’s make him pay for what he has done. First as always, fight him until he reaches his Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours. Then kick his ass.
Fight Ngarba until he uses his Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours.
Kick Ngarba’s ass. That felt good.
This sucks. I liked him a lot. You want to as always fight him until he reaches his Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours. Use the Ultimate legacy from the Aurionic mode “Leader”. The thing literally has your name in it. Side note on Final Speech. I unlocked this in the first battle with him at Isao. If you did too, GREAT! If not, have fun popping ALL of your Aurionic modes in front of him while he just sits there wondering why you are so emotional.
Fight Dramane until he reaches his Aurionic mode WITHOUT using yours.
Use the ultimate legacy from the Aurionic mode “Leader” during the battle with Dramane.
I’m assuming you realize that you just won and there aren’t any more acheivements left. Maybe you still need to mop up. I know I did 🙂 Good job beating the game!
Misc
These are all missable
Eat 10 different foods. This can be done in the first town of Figuil, if you buy the right things from the vendor. If not, you will obtain way more than 10 different foods over normal gameplay.
Eat 20 different foods. This can be done in the second town Isao if you buy the right items from the vendor, If not, you will obtain way more than 20 different foods over normal gameplay.
Combat
All of these are missable
Finish 5 battles without using STM items. These are the items in the upper left that refill your bars. You will probably get this without trying, or you are spending A LOT of money!
Finish 10 battles without using Erine. Suggested to do very early in the game, when healing items are on par with her healing. if you are having issues, do this later when you revisit a continent and everyone is super weak.
Use any of Erine’s skills 100 times
You will get this without trying.
Have Erina land the final blow on 20 enemies using one of her skills. Pretty easy, as long as you are actually using her. if you have issues with this, revisit a past continent when she is super buff and grind.
Finish 10 battles without getting hit. Can be obtained very early in the game. I noticed enemies are more reluctant to hit you when you are in Aurion mode. If you are having issues, trigger this immediately at the beginning of battle and sweep the enemies into a large pile with your attacks, as to be able to focus on all at once.
Eliminate a Boss without going into Aurion mode. Originally, I was worried, as most bosses require you to use this mode for another achievement. However this actually popped for me when I defeated one of the “porcupine face” mobs in Bodiop that control the Trakas without using Aurion mode. If this doesn’t work for you, I would suggest saving before one of the easier bosses, such as Norbert Koross.
COMBOS
I am awful at combos. If you are as well, the best time to get all of these achievements is in Figuil when you are fighting the training dummy as part of Nama’s tutorial.. Her test dummy has infinite health and you can’t knock people down with a combo yet. Force the dummy to the side of the screen and melee like there is no tomorrow. You will get all of the combo acheivements when you hit 450.
These are unlocked at 50, 150, 250, 350, and 450
Also really fun to do, Ju’u
Use 120 ultimates. Better get started. A really nice spot for this is in Wabanga. During one of the three super long battles, they LET YOU stay in battle, and expect you to move. Instead, what you will be doing in switching to one of your basic pillars, or Honour, and then spam casting skills and Ults. Because they are really low leveled, and you now have a TON of AP, this should go faster than usual.
This includes singular units in battle, not battles overall. If you progress through the areas without avoiding enemy mobs, you should obtain most of these without going out of your way.
- Ajangas – Kill 25 of the forest bandits (Bodiop)
- Trakas – Kill 25 of the dog-cupines (Bodiop).
- Traka Trainers – Kill 25 of the walking Porcupines (Bodiop).
- Wambas – Defeat 25 of the soldiers (Bouake Prison). Make em pay
- Manyang – Defeat 25 ants (Bouake Prison). This time you are going to need a bigger magnifying glass
- Karou Soldiers – Kill 25 of the darkness soldiers (Wasao)
- Ney-Ogum – Kill 25 of the Titans (Isao and Wasao)
- Karou Elites – Kill 25 of the super buff dudes (Wasao)
- Karou Rabshas – Kill 25 of the heavy weapons dudes (Wasao)
- Koulams – Defeat 30 rebels. Dudes have flamingos on their heads. They are the alpha lawn ornament (Bouto Lima).
- Mout-Mout – Defeat 30 rebels – These are the flying bugs. Harder to squash than the ants (Bouto Lima).
- Ney-Croco – Kill 25 Crocodiles (Bawanga)
- Abadjis – These are the Bajaa soldiers (Bawanga)
- Xangaloos – Long range units (Bawanga)
- Malawas – These are the Bawanga Soldiers (Bawanga)
- Marabouts – Nama’s Wizards (Bawanga)
