Overview
Tired of endless clicking to Crunch over and over again to improve BLC rings? Let’s automate this! Fast blowing power gains for the Tower!
Automating Big Leaf Crunching
(you can skip this)
Big Leaf Crunching is one of the main ways to progress in the game. Later on once you get BLC orb artifacts BLC and suddnly crunching becomes useless. However, once you get to the tower there is a BLC Ring Item, which increases your blowing damage proportionally to how many times you did BLC.
Formula
(+0.5% blowing damage for every 30 crunches ) x number of BLC rings.
For example having 40 BLC rings when you have 90 BLC crunches gives you
0.5% x (90 / 30) x 40 = 60% damage increase
Now that the BLC crunching is important again, you don’t care about getting a lot of BLC points for each crunch, you only care about doing crunching as fast as possible.
I suggest doing this after spending some time in the Tower to collect some BLC rings as well.
If you have already automated any unnecessary upgrades turn off anything unnecessary:
– ALBs
– fertilisers
– fuel
– converter output
– EVERYTHING
Only keep the upgrades necessary to unlock BLC:
– New leaves and flasks (except strange flask)
– Increase converter count (this can speed up the flask unlocks a little)
In the coins shop keep auto buy for: (don’t level too much so that you don’t run out of coins)
– upgrade discount
– increase converter count
– increase converter output
Now, you can spam BLC crunching like crazy!! Mine takes 15 seconds. (240 per hour if you’re really stubborn)
Once you start regretting having fingers, how about automating this!
I’ve used two pieces of software:
Ghost Mouse [www.ghost-mouse.com] – records your mouse movements and replays them when you press a hotkey
Do It Again [www.spacetornado.com] – periodically repeats the hotkey
- Using Ghost Mouse, record yourself doing a single BLC crunch
- In Options -> Hotkeys, set a hotkey so you don’t have to click the play button all the time
- In Options Playback -> Speed, you can speed up replay speed
- Using Do It Again, record yourself pressing that hotkey and save
- I had to run the program as Administrator to save the task
- In Options -> Repeat task settings, set the time interval time and number of repetitions
- Test it to see how long it takes for the BLC button to appear (to be unlocked), it was 16 seconds for me
- Double click on the newly created task in Do it Again
- I had to click on the game after running the task for things to work
- SCROLL LOCK button is the default STOP hotkey
And that’s it, Crunching is fully automated!
