Avatar Abilities Guide

Overview

A guide to learn more about each ability you can learn for your avatar.

Class & Types

Disclaimer: I only made this guide because I couldn’t find one. Any contribution is welcome. Also the name of the skill might be off since I’m translating this from a japanese guide.

As you create your own avatar, you get to choose one from these classes:

  • Male Saiyan
  • Female Saiyan
  • Majin
  • Frieza Race
  • Namekian
  • Android
  • Shinjin (Kaiohshin)
  • Demon

Each class in the game has 3 types: Hero (HR), Elite (EL) and Berserker (BS). You can also promote your class from:

Base > Super > Ultimate > God > Super God.

It’s the equivalent of the Saiyan transformation from Super Saiyan 1 > Super Saiyan 2 > Super Saiyan 3 > Super Saiyan God > SSG Super Saiyan (Blue).


You can promote by asking Sheron to promote your class once you gather the Dragon Balls.

Explaining Unique Abilities

Each type of each class gets 2 unique abilities and 2 common abilities. Those abilities can go from Lv.1 to Lv.5 (MAX). That means a Male Saiyan Hero (HR) will get 2 different abilities from a Male Saiyan Elite (EL).

To learn those abilities, all you have to do is level up. By reaching a certain level, your ability can be increased up to Lv.5.

First unique ability:

  • Learned by default.
  • Can be upgraded by leveling up from Base class to Ultimate class. Promoting to God class will make the ability get stuck in the current level.

First common ability (Ultimate Class Link):

  • Learned by promoting to Ultimate class.
  • Can be upgraded by leveling up only in the Ultimate class. Promoting to God class will make the ability get stuck in the current level.
  • This ability is the same to every avatar and every race.
  • The effect of this Ultimate Class Link is: If the character is put in the Support Area, they can link with a character on the Attack Area to increase the power of their Special Moves by 10%~50% [Once only] (multiplier based on the ability’s level).

Second unique ability:

  • Learned by promoting to God class.
  • Can be upgraded by leveling up only in the God class. Promoting to Super God class will make the ability get stuck in the current level.

Second common ability:

  • Learned by promoting to Super God class.
  • Can be upgraded by leveling up in the Super God class.

Each Class and Type has an Ultimate Unit Effect, which requires other 2 members to activate. This is unlocked by default.

The wise thing to do would be to promote until Ultimate class, raise both first abilities to MAX, then promote to God class and raise the new ability to MAX, and then promote again to learn the final ability.

Male Saiyan (Hero)

Base Ability: Team Hero
At the end of the Power Level Battle Phase, if this card is in the Support Area, increase the power of all allies. Effect increases with each level. (Repeatable) (Permanent)

Male Saiyan (Elite)

Base Ability: Ki Master
When in the support area, restores Ki to a linked ally and restores your CI speed to the initial value. The amount of Ki restored increases with each level. (Repeatable) (Permanent)

Each time the unit is placed in the support area, the damage done to the enemy team will increase. The effect is increased with each level. (Repeatable) (Permanent)

Super God Class Ability: Saiyan Ultimate Dragon Fist
If unit is an attacker from R2 onward, enters Ultimate Dragon Fist mode after team attacks. Deal damage & restore Stamina to yourself. Stamina recovery increases with each level. (One-time only) (Permanent)
